Omega is a must visit when wine tasting. Jim and his dad Frank are always very welcoming with their hospitality. We mentioned that we didn’t make it to the Wine and Chocolate event to try their chocolate baklava, Frank went to a back room and out he came with heated chocolate covered baklava. I enjoy every wine they make and always leave with a bottle of Mystico.(I actually left with 2 during my last visit and one broke in my trunk =(. They are very laid back and easy to talk to, it’s so nice to actually go to a winery and talk to the owners about their wines. Their wines are great as are the owners, everyone should check them out!

I Love Omega wines! Hence why I became a member! :) The Mourvedre Rose was the reason why I became a member. It is a semi-sweet rose and is not dry at all. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any wine here. They have a great Peach Champagne that is not too bubbly, which I like. I also enjoy their Omega white. You can’t go wrong with either of these on a hot summer day. I just tried their new BDX rose, which is also yummy and not dry. They also have their port style wine which is very good!(and I’m not a port kind of girl) I can go on and on about their wines! Let’s just say they have a wine for all palates. Sweet, semi-sweet, bold, and smooth! I also want to mention that Jim and his father are always very helpful and welcoming! Oh, and you get to try all these yummy wines for FREE!

I love this place. The Natsis Family are friendly and always willing to share their knowledge… as well as their cheese and olives. There is so much history to the Omega name and its fascinating to sit and sip and listen to Frank talk about wines, restaurants and cooking. There is nothing I don’t love about Omega!

A wonderful, personal experience coupled with tasty wines, which is everything that I look for in a tasting room. The owner himself sipped wines and waxed enthusiastic with us. The tasting was free and there was no limit on how much you could try and no pressure to buy. We wound up buying 3 bottles, as the wine was delicious. If you value good treatment and good wine, stop here.

I have been to Omega Cellars several times and am impressed. These guys know and love wine and are trying some interesting things at the end of Harney Lane. I really recommend stopping at the wineries on Harney — d’Art, Harney Lane, and Omega — just to experience the contrasts in styles in such a small area. The tasting room is in a corner of the working warehouse. The room is pretty basic, but the staff are great and take care of you. The wine is really interesting. They are trying all sorts of blends and really pushing the envelope on the traditional Lodi scene. It is a treat to see what they have created. Omega is a little out of the way, but worth a trip.

Absolutely my favorite winery in Lodi. The wines are all deliicous my favorite the Mystico hands down. But what I love about this place is the warm welcome every time we go tasting. Frank and Jim are the best host taking their time with each and every customer. I’ve taken a few friends on several occasions and every loves this the best. Be sure to give them a try, and if your lucky enough to buy some walnuts, they too are absolutely the best, hand picked and shelled by Franks wife, she’s a sweetheart. Looking forward to Wine and Chocolate festival coming up on Feb 7, 82015.

Deeeeeeelicious. All of the«ports» are amazing. The personalities here were hilarious and fantastic. We had a fantastic tasting and bought five different wines because they were so fantastic.

What a great winery. The family member pouring couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The wines were all excellent. We were so fortunate to have the place to ourselves. He took us in the back to try wine straight from the tanks! And the wine was all so good. Can’t wait to return.

We first stopped by Omega Cellars sometime in January 2012… maybe a month before or a month after. We were the only ones in the tasting room and Jim immediately treated us like long lost family. He described each wine in great detail and apologized for selling out of the Midnight Serenade. He offered us samples of the Mystico and a few others. I remember I asked to use the restroom and after being told where it was I walked over to the building. I walked in and saw Jim’s Dad inside the kitchen area having lunch and I commented how it smelled wonderful… it was a kebab with some rice I believe. I walked back to the tasting room and minutes later, in walks Jim’s Dad with some kebabs for us. You don’t find that kind of hospitality in many places I’m sad to say, but there at Omega, it fills the room. The wines at Omega Cellar are very, very good, so much so that after moving to Virginia, my wife went back to Omega Cellar in February and ordered a whole case. Now I don’t know if Jim really remembered her or not, but she swears that he treated her like family… and after our first experience, I have no doubt. If you go on the Lodi wine trail and drive by Omega, you are missing out on some fabulous wine and an opportunity to meet some awesome people in the Natsis family. Even though we are now in Virginia, we will be regular customers.

I originally found Omega while using the passport in September and by far my favorite testing wine on the whole trip. The family was very fun and down to earth, not a bunch of wine snobs you might expect and they didn’t seem bothered by those only wanting tastings which is a nice plus. What I like about this winery is that the family lets the wine talk for itself and it was delicious. In September I bought the midnight serenade which was gone almost as soon as it was purchased. More recently I revisited the winery and bought the Rose, which is another favorite. The tasting room and surrounding areas are quite simple but don’t be discouraged. Do the free tastings at the other wineries that may seem more visually pleasing and save your money to buy at Omega, it really is worth it.

Best winery in the Lodi area. The Natsis family go above and beyond with explaining the wines and their respective nuances. If it is slow, then Jim or his dad will occasionally take you to the barrel room and let you sample wines that are still aging. While there is not much for kids to do there, they are very kid friendly and enjoy interacting with children while parents sample wines… even went as far as giving my daughter some chocolate because she was well-behaved. Definitely make this a must-visit winery when touring Lodi’s wineries.

You walk into a place where the owner is friendly and the wine is great. This is not the place to go if you don’t want to hang out for a while and meet new people. This is the place where you love all the wine and you can’t decide what you want more. Ultimately you buy the Mystico and the midnight Serenade and leave with a smile on your face. Stop. Have fun. And enjoy.

We walked in and recognized the owner from the big Lodi book featured at every other winery. He was a cool guy, just sat down so casually and started pouring wines. not talking about tastings fees or any of that bullshit. Just a straight up «cmon in and taste» kind of vibe that felt organic with the Lodi culture. Loved the Mouvedre Rose, and even though I had inwardly promised I was done buying wine on this trek up, we left with some of that. Also, his dessert wine was amazing. Very cool place! and really neat barrel art furniture displayed in his gift area.

Went late in the day on a Saturday, so we were the only people there. The guy pouring(I can’t remember his name, but I know he’s the brother of the owner) was super friendly and fun to chat with. Some of the wines were decent, some not so much, but one was fantastic… the rose. SOGOOD. I’m not usually a rose fanatic, but this stuff is divine. Bought two bottles at a great price(I think around $ 16 each?). If you’re looking for a good rose, hit up Omega.

Came by Omega on a Saturday afternoon and had a blast. The owner poured for me and my fiancée and couldnt have been nicer. Bought a bottle of their Mystico wine and it was well worth the price. Have been back quite a few times and even attended a fundraiser there and have never been disappointed.

I loved the Rose, bought 2 bottles. I loved their Mystico, but it’s a bit too pricey for my budget. I also liked their midnight serenade, but also to pricey for me.

Stopped by omega as suggested by another winery and we were very pleased with their suggestion! We were able to taste some great whites as well as reds. I was able to find a great rose($ 15-$ 17) which i have never really liked until yesterday! The staff was great, we ended up spending a lot of time chatting and enjoying their great wine. I have always been a chatty person but the staff here made me feel like i was at home. I highly recommend visiting and taking time to try all of the wine. Wine prices range depending on your style and they do offer deals on larger purchases!

Tasting: ?? Wine: $ 20 –40 for those with medium palates. Ok so I’m a sucker for French varietals so this review might be a bit biased(just a little). However I’m incredibly surprised to be the first to review. Vin? Tres Bön! My favorites were the mouvedre rose and the petit verdot. All were more than comparable to decent wineries in Livermore(I didn’t try the chardonnay). It was a mere bit of buzzed oversight that prevented me from not being a current proud owner of these wines. I will be correcting this soon. Service? Excellent! From the pourer explaining the rarity of a pure petit verdot wine to the meat servers laughing as i came back for my third serving of meatballs and baklava. Here lies very friendly people. Setting? Tres rustique. The winery is essentially a barn with I believe the normal tasting room up front and the wine stored in back. There are also some nice picnic benches in front perfect for enjoying your new acquired wine with some sandwiches or cheese. I’m holding out my last star only due to the fact that all the food served there overwhelmed the wine and too late in the tasting day to figure out if the wines were complex or simple. However I’ll be sure to rectify this upon return.
