A small, family-owned winery in Lodi wine country with a pleasant tasting room and plenty of patio seating. Our host was very hospitable and did a great job of engaging all of us despite having multiple parties and a maxed out tasting bar. That being said, the wines were very underwhelming across the board and just not well-suited for my palate. For instance, the Cabernet Sauvignon was awfully light and lacking any depth while the Petit Verdot was largely devoid of any flavor and one of the few wines I’d ever describe as «sterile». My friends seemed to enjoy them quite a bit though, so it’s perhaps worth at least a quick stop especially given the reasonable $ 5 tasting fee.

In my humble opinion, this is the best tasting wine in Lodi. The 2011 Pinot is great!

If you build it, they will come… sounds corny right? Yeah, so when you read this review and end up at this place and remember how lame that opening line really is… well… you’re welcome! Get a bottle of 2012 Soucie Vineyard Zinfandel or a bottle of Pi. Yes, that is spelled correctly like the irrational number 22⁄7 but hey, that’s why I teach math AND drink wine, but not necessarily in that order.

Wonderful place with amazing wines. This wine is made with passion that comes through. Try the Pinot Noir… yes, Pinot in Lodi… really well done. This is a hidden gem that won’t be hidden for long. You won’t be disappointed!

Visited Klinker Brick and fell upon this gem. Amazing wine and the wine makers are passionate about making their wines smooth and drinkable. Will go back for sure! Already craving more PI!
