This use to be my «go to» for teen night when I was around 14 – 16 years old and when it was the Sound Garden. Last night was the last time I stepped into this establishment in over 10 years, and SOMUCH has changed. The décor for instance is very nice. They have a little Mardi Gras theme going on. Friday nights are Latino nights and it was great! Very classy, fun, great DJ and packed dance floor. Inside off of the dance floor, you actually have space to move around. Cover charge is also inexpensive. I believe it’s $ 10 for women and $ 15 for men – my friend paid for me so I don’t exactly know. The first thing I saw was their buffet area when I walked in. At first I thought it was for some private party, and my friend told me it was for everyone. It is also no extra price. What!!! Idk if I don’t get out often or what not, but I have never seen that inside a club. Super smart for the club to do. Give all the people who have been drinking something to nibble on. Also saves you money going out to eat after a night out. The buffet itself had a TON of food! Pizza, empanadas, sandwiches(that had some type of really good dressing on it), and Pasta. There might have been more but that’s what I saw. They kept brining more and more out until maybe a half hour before closing time. Overall, the food in general tasted pretty good too. This place also has plenty of booths, available for private parties and such. Coat check is only $ 2.00. Service from the bartenders was excellent, they are energetic and friendly. Large parking lot to park your car. Bathrooms are clean. The girl in the bathroom was constantly cleaning and handing out paper towels to every customer who used the sink. They also had hairspray and other supplies available in there. What really won my heart was when I got a piece of toilet paper stuck on my shoe and I’m sitting there going back and forth with my feet trying to get it off. The bathroom attendant saw my pathetic battle with the toilet paper on my shoe and actually bent down and physically took it off for me. Aweeeee thank you! Yes I did in fact think this was totally worth mentioning. Overall, this place does not deserve less than five stars because of the amazing staff, accommodations and level of fun this place has to offer. I will totally be back soon and won’t let another ten years pass me by before I do.

The crowd was awkward. Some of the men there kept following me around the whole night and I found most of them creepy because it was 12 and they were already too drunk to function, and were way too touchy. the music is pure mainstream, and kind of played out. I decided after I went, that I will stick to NYC clubs because the NJ clubs have all the same weird crowd

I have been going to RIse for the last decade, and it always delivers a night of good music and debauchery. it’s an small but elegant place, not NYC small, but with two big bar areas, plenty of VIP tables and even a free food buffet! Yes, as odd as a food buffet sounds, it’s seriously some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Plus it saves you money from having to stop somewhere else after the club. I always come on friday night for the latin night, sometimes they have Alex Sensation here as a guest DJ which is always amazing and if not they make sure to get someone that gets the crowd. The crowd itself is pretty mixed, but leaning on the younger side, as most clubs do. People dress to impress, so make sure you are abiding by the dress code and don’t feel like a loser in the ladies room. The only reason I don’t give it the full 5 stars is because I am terrible at making dance plans ahead of time and always have to pay a cover($ 15 for men and $ 10 for women). The food and the parking do make up for it. And thankfully drinks are reasonably priced, so they pretty much have a customer for life here.

They mostly play Spanish music. They have free food which is always a plus. The drinks aren’t that expensive. The atmosphere is good. I would definitely come again.

Went there last night with approximately 10 people… it was Latin night. My friend had a table reserved with a bottle… overall the service was excellent. We got the bottle and plenty of chasers to go along with it… and the price wasn’t bad at all. All in all, came out to approximately 200 dollars. The problem is that the table was smack in the middle of everything, so once everyone left the table, it became prime real estate for anyone looking to rest. Unfortunately, around 2 am someone found their way to the table and threw up over all the coats that were left behind. Not really Rise’s fault… but word to the wise, get your coats checked in because they are NOT safe sitting by the table. The combination of dancing, liquor, and free food is dangerous! But overall a great experience. Enjoyed the variety of music playing(the 30 minutes or so of mainstream music was a nice touch) and the overall layout of the place. Would have been nice if the tables were somewhere off to the side and not as accessible to completely blacked out people, but overall this didn’t take away too much from a great night.

The music, the crowd, everything good, horrible service by bartenders, they are always texting on the phone.

I love Rise. This is my to-go place on Friday nights. It usually is great. BUT lately they’ve been advertising that DJ Alex Sensation will be there. He doesn’t make appearances every Friday of course, but it’s been 4 times where I’ve gotten emails from them stating he’d be there when he wasn’t. He’s honestly the only reason me and my girls go to rise. I guess we’ll have to start going to other clubs to see him even if it means going a little far.

I used to go here when it was the sound factory, in my opinion I had more fun then. This place is OK, I like the buffet. Music is pretty good, depending who is djing that night. Crowd is usually obnoxious and I can not stand when the place closes. All idiots rushing out at once alot of fights and try driving past this place around that time its a f**king mad house. All in all its OK, nothing special and definitely not an upper class crowd that goes here.

Friday nights are ratchet. The crowd gets grimy, real gross; which is sad considering that the drinks are great and the food is edible.

This place is nice and cool cause of free food for a snack which the fries are good. But the min we got there the girl in the front was rude and snotty. we sign up to thier guest list and u need like a confirmation number in order to reserve a table? Fyi they dont say that on the web site so be aware. The sercurity didnt even pat down the guys, good job if they bring a gun or knife. The drinks are regualr price like anywhere else. But $ 4.00 for water is dumb. I went to a club that 18 and up and they are more mature than here people here. They kept spilling their drink and there was alwys ice and water on the floor a lot of people almost fell. The music is okay. They need to learn how to mix better that’s for sure. anyone who drinks or hear a hype song will dance. So that’s anywhere. They need to just change it up. don’t play a song that’s the same beat like 5 times please.

The crowd here is pretty good and diverse. The music was diverse as well and had the crowd up and alive. The prices for the drinks are pretty reasonable also and were not watered down. Another plus was they served food before the night was over. Changed the stars to 3 since the crowd has gotten worse the past couple months in my opinion.

If you are looking for an older crowd, this is your club. If you are in your early 20’s you will not have a good time here. The majority of the guests are 30+, married with children. The music is too loud and it is always overly crowded.

Honestly one of the best local nightclubs around. It can get packed but not too crowded. The owners have done a great job here! The midnight snack is worth the entrance alone. Quality local and celebrity DJs always pack this joint & the themed nights are always a blast! Great inexpensive yet quality place for an event such as a birthday celebration, you will have a great time!

I’ve been here for their teen nights a few times before… I wouldn’t say its the greatest. Most teen nights I hate the djs/music there. But I like their performances they have there like the Mia Martinez one. If you’re not a fan of having bright lights while you dance, this isn’t a place for you. I like their air conditioning system though, it is way better than Casey O Tooles. Bathrooms are nice too. The real down side is Rise is way too pricey to get in on teen nights even if you have those little $ 5 discounts.

The crowd is different here depending on the night. On Friday they have decent happy hour crowd. They offer a pretty nice buffet of great food. The crowd is a mix of all ages and types. Saturday nights it can get pretty crowded and the crowd is more 21 – 30 but mostly early 20s. They play dance music and sometims have special djs or performances.
