This place is great compared to other locations in NJ. Price its not bad if you go between 11am to 3pm. The variations are ok but the food itself its really good. Fish, sea food, sushi, sundays and cheese cake are fantastic. Fried calamari is my favorite.

Go there, if you like roaches. We have been going to this place for a while. It used to be good about 4 years ago, but the food is gross and there are roaches eating off the floor under your table, as you eat in your flip flops because its summer. The fish in the tank look sad. I dont think this place will be open for much longer because the food is crap and there are roaches and then you tell the owner you are leaving because of roaches and you want your money back, they look at you and hesitate. Stay away. Gross, gross gross!

I can’t eat here after seeing the sad condition the fish are in their display fish tank. Not enough water, fish are too big for that small tank, poor water conditions, etc… Fix your fish tank!

It’s a buffet nothing that special. It serves its purpose. Eat, get more, repeat… Eat, get more, repeat… The food seems fresh and tasty. I have only gone here a few times, but its was good everytime. They have good fried planatins and chicken fingers. Maybe we will go back soon

This buffet is not that big, but the price is reasonable, the place is clean as well, that is why I am a regular customer there. Usually, I went there for dinner with my families, it is worth that each person just paid $ 15, since they service crab leg, fresh oyster, and salmon. Otherwise, here waitresses are nice like always. I think I would keep going there til I moving out. :)

Originally wanted to go rt 17 buffet near panera bread but it was packed and my friend and I were starving. With that being said we decided to try out the Lodi buffet as we walked in there was not many people, cool! No line to wait, we get out food right away. Well now I know why no one comes in here. My total was 18 dollars before I even say down to eat, I asked the lady at the register what am I paying for since there was not many choices of food literally. The people that work here are very rude and miserable. It was awkward how they expect you to pay and leave a tip before you even sit down to eat. At these prices that they charge I certainly did not leave a tip. The food was NOTGOOD. I felt this place was dirty as well, how can they possibly be so expensive. This restaurant should shut down or get new a team of new management. The food food quality was very poor I have to repeat that a couple of times for the amount they charge customers. It’s absolute robbery. I kept asking myself what in the world am I paying for? PLEASEDONOTCOMEHERE, save your money and go else where.

I took the time out to write this review only to help people in the future. Let’s just say if I could give this place no stars then I would. If you MUST go there to eat, DON’T go during dinner. You’re expected to pay almost $ 18 for one person! Which would be okay if the food was amazing… ITSNOT. The service is even worse. The receptionist was rude when I(kindly) asked her why the prices were so high.(I’m sure people ask all the time) That being said, I expected high quality food and lots of options! Neither of those apply here. Don’t waste your money. You’re better off ordering food else where. I am never ever going back.

Not a horrible little chinese buffet in the heart of lodi. The fish by the front door scare the hell out of me and its possible that they are growing them as big as they re so they can one day be on the buffet table. Food isn’t bad, not a huge selection though. The chicken fingers were pretty good and so were the platanos mudruos(fries sweet plantains) I also like the lomein… They also usually offer a lot of coupons in the nj clipper so on top of the already cheap prices it can be cheaper. All in and all an OK buffet, I eat here once in a blue moon if i’m broke and in the mood to pig out…

A small selection of offerings at this run-of-the-mill buffet joint, with a lot of the grub only lukewarm. On the upside, it was clean, well-staffed, and the service was very good. For the price point, it was only passable.

Small but good for the price you pay. Dynasty Buffet is near by but wee bit more expensive, I’d rather go there.

Food everybody understands, clean place, attractive, priced right, no rush by staff –ever and that’s important with all-you-can-eat. It always has a good mix of people from all walks of life and attire. Literally, everybody is there because it’s great. I’d like to believe that if there’s a heaven, –this is what it would be like.

This place is extremely, Ok. Nothing seems to set this buffet apart from other chinese buffets in northern New Jersey. The food is fesh and the facilities seem to be clean.

Normally, I avoid any restaurant that has«buffet» in it’s name at all costs if it’s not in Vegas. But on this particular evening, I didn’t have any say in the choice of restaurant. First of all, we walked in and were overwhelmed by a fishy, disgusting smell. Should have just turned around right there. The waitress had given me a coke without even taking my drink order. I sent it back for a ginger ale, and I can’t tell you what it was that I received, but it was certainly NOT ginger ale. I ventured up to the buffet, at this point, everyone in the group is complaining about the food, and looked around at the congealed sauces, the fried foods, the cookies that looked like they came out of a box, and couldn’t find a single thing that looked appetizing. The salad tasted funny, though I couldn’t figure out why… who screws up iceberg and chopped veggies?! I tasted the fried calamari and the lo mein, and they were both edible, but not that good. The rest of my group complained about the fried rice and the cheesecake, though they enjoyed some sort of chicken dish. To top it off, the waitress was clearing the table and dropped a KNIFE on someone at my table! She just mumbled a «sorry» and kept walking without even picking it up. NEVERAGAIN!

This is a great little buffet. If you like the Dynasty Buffet in Saddle Brook, NJ then you will like this one because I believe it’s the same owners and same food. But this place is much smaller than Dynasty, so it’s the junior version. Fresh food at a good price!

This is the worst buffet in New Jersey I have ever been to. If I could give it «No Stars» I would. The food was at best mediocre, and the selection as very limited. The Bathroom had not been cleaned in a while, which always makes me wonder about the rest of the restaurant. The front was clean, and vacuumed. Our server was very quick to take our drink order, which was a plus, but was not correct with it.(I know it sounds silly, but we ordered unsweetened tea at the front, and verbally repeated it to the server who nodded«yes». She brought us sweet tea, and when I checked our order it said sweet tea. Very frustrating.) The Lady at the front was very pleasant when we first came in and welcomed us. And on the plus side she checked my Id when the back of my credit card wasn’t signed, but she was the only person we saw with a smile on their face while we were there. Even our server couldn’t be bothered. All of which wouldn’t have gotten me to post a bad review. I wouldn’t go back; but I would have put it down to a bad day at the restaurant. But I posted this review to help warn other people off because of what happened after our meal. We had eaten and were leaving when we were stopped by the lady at the front who after asking if our meal was«OK»(we said«mmm mumble mumble yea, OK» cause you don’t really want to be a jerk.) she pointed out that we hadn’t left a tip. Now as far as I know tipping is still not mandatory in NJ. I have worked in the business and I’m very aware of how and when to tip. I tip quite well for great service, and even average service gets 18%, but it is my choice. If the service is poor, I do not tip. The lady was rather forceful that we should leave a tip. That told me two things. One; that she believed that the service, food and cleanliness of the restaurant WAS up to her standards and worth a tip on top of the price of the meal provided, and two; that I, a paying customer, was either too stupid or too much of a deadbeat to leave a tip. Either way, I was insulted, and will never go back to there. And i will happily warn off anyone who doesn’t wish to waste their money and their time. With all the fine places to get a quick meal in Lodi, Hackensack, and the surrounding area., don;t bother with the Lodi Buffet.
