I have to say that I am normally not a fan of Asian buffets but I have found that Dynasty Buffet has become my go to spot when I want to enjoy variety at a relatively reasonable price. I have found that the food quality is always consistent and tasty. Granted this is not steakhouse quality prime beef at the grill but then again your not at a steakhouse or paying anywhere near steakhouse prices, with that in mind the adage ‘you get what you pay for prevails’ I happened to try Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet and found that you are in fact paying less for food that is inferior and lacking of quality, Dynasty Buffet although more costly of the two is by far the better value and quality in the dishes offered. I particularly enjoy the oysters which are always fresh and tasty and the crab legs which are ample, the Kalbi short ribs although a bit chewy are yummy and a guilty pleasure of mine. One other difference between the two buffets is the service, the food at Hibachi Buffet is left standing and not given the attention it is at Dynasty which I was definitely able to visibly notice the difference in food handling and attention to detail. For my dollar Dynasty Buffet continues to stand apart from any other Buffet in North Jersey.

I tried this place yesterday for lunch for the second time as it is right near where I work. It is very clean and the dishes are constantly replaced and kept full but the quality of food is just mediocre as is the selection. I’ll compare it to average chinese food take out at best and did not care for the sushi rolls at all. I tried the asian fare which was average(I’ve had better take out for half the price) and the american selections, all of which I tried were over salted. The soups were good as was the salad bar. Dinner may be a different experience as I did not see crab legs, oysters or any other seafood selection. Don’t think I’ll go back for lunch as it is a bit pricey.

1st visit was good, definitely would do a 2nd visit. Duck was at times good, and other times more on the dry side, but unless you’re at a buffet in Vegas, it’s to be expected that not all the food will be in perfect form as they may have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while.

This buffet was our hiking group’s dinner after our Mohonk Preserve hike. Had a decent sized parking lot. When our group entered, not even kidding, the busy dining room, EVERYONE turned around and were gawking at us like we were aliens. I don’t blame them. haha Imagine you’re dining at a buffet, about to crack open a crab leg and then the door opens and 40 Asians walk in and demand tables. WORD. ASIANINVASION! Loll: D 3 food stations with different dishes ranging from chicken nuggets and fried calamari, to steamed clams, sesame chicken, pepper steak, and sauteed string beans, steamed flounder, and dim sum. Their station serving sushi rolls was absolutely DISMAL. The sushi rolls looked so lonely, I almost felt sorry for them. I took a California roll and put it in my mouth. Rice was hard as F! I didn’t feel sorry anymore after that. There was a separate station that served oysters and clams on the half shell as well as several condiments, a dessert station and a hibachi station that had steak, ribs, and other stuff. There was a HUGE bucket of fortune cookies too. Overall, the food was JUSTOKAY. The oysters and clams seemed to be cleaned rather well. which definitely surprised me. Desserts were OKAY. Their crème brûlée was surprisingly good and had a good consistency. Their steak from the hibachi station, although was cooked medium rare to medium, was one of the toughest pieces of meat I’ve EVER eaten. Overall for $ 26/head including tax and tip, it wasn’t too bad. I inhaled about 22 oysters and clams. so it was definitely worth it for me. I can’t say the same for the 3 vegetarians who were with us. haha

Where do you go when you are starving and want to stuff your face but don’t want to spend $ 30 – 35? Dynasty! This place is unapologetic in the way it runs the show. They aren’t pretending to be fancy and high end. The décor is similar to a diner. The young Chinese girls are hustling and their English is not great, but sufficient. Service is not bad considering that it is a buffet, our waitress stopped by several times for soda refills and plates were cleared quickly. Yes, it is a Chinese buffet, so don’t come expecting high end sushi or BBQ. You immediately get a sense of what is about to happen when you pay upfront before you are seated. This place is a place of business. People are here to EAT. Atmosphere: Neon, plastic décor, similar to many NJ diners. The place is not as big as you would expect from a buffet. As others have said, it is LOUD, people are hustling to cram food down their gullets. Several hours later, the volume in the dining area has noticeably turned down as people occasionally stir from their –itis. Food: Sushi — Disappointing, but I was stupid to expect more at these prices, I guess. Small selection of common sushi and few rolls. Barely enough to call it a sushi bar. Taste of salmon was ok, and it flew off the plates quickly. Meats– nice selection of steak(decent, think outback), chicken, kalbi(yes!), sausage, and sliced duck on buns. I downed a lot of kalbi(I’m Korean, sue me), which wasn’t exactly marinated korean-style, nor grilled like a Korean BBQ house, but it was pretty good nonetheless(or maybe I was really hungry, I’m not so sure now in retrospect). Seafood– Crab legs are the clear winner and probably their best offering. They were heavy with fresh meat, tasty(maybe a tad salty), and despite being their most popular item, they kept em coming steadily. Other assorted foods were ok, decent hot foods, decent take-out style Chinese food, random stuff like pasta and wings. Salad/fruit bar were ok. Soft serve was ok. TL;DR It was ok.

I absolutely love Dynasty Buffet. I stumbled upon it while taking a short cut to another buffet and got lost. The food was so delicious. I didn’t know what town I was in so I couldn’t go back. Months later, while lost again, I stumbled upon it again, but this time I made a note of the name and where it was. I’ve been going ever since. Two years ago I moved to the west coast and I look forward to going back east to partake in this deliciousness of Dynasty Buffet. In fact, I’m going east a week from today…

The nerve of this place is unbelievable. They are relatively expensive, and the women in front are absolute bitches. The food is pig slop. Bad tasting clams, tough steak, old pork. Never again will I waste my money on this crap. Went home and felt like there were rocks in my stomach. Even the ice cream is watery, which honestly is the best food they have. For 10 dollars more, you can eat like a queen at Minado. Minado also has a lunch buffet for the same amount as this crappy place’s dinner price. Well worth it. Also in Minado, there is no attitude problem.

Went on a Saturday night at around 7pm. The place wasn’t packed as I’d expected, with at least 6 empty tables. The place isn’t as big as I expected either, and parking was a breeze. You pay as you walk in — make sure to order beverages as you walk in(free refill). It’s BYOB but we made the mistake of not bringing our own shot glasses. We asked for a bucket of ice for our sake, and the only cups they could offer us were the enormous red plastic soda cups — definitely not appetizing. I involuntarily chugged down my sake like a champ but was weirded out by the lack of accommodation for the BYOB concept. They have wine glasses available, however — and I believe they’ll provide them to you at an additional cost(would’ve been just as weird drinking sake out of a wine glass). The food was so-so. We only went there to load up on snow crabs and the oysters — which was good. There wasn’t anyone staking out the oyster bar area, which was a nice surprise. I really thought there’d be people hiding around the corners to jump at the first sight of an oyster. The oysters and claims were fresh — loved it. The sushi was awful. Just plain awful. Don’t get that. I picked the fish pieces off the rice and was about to spit it out. Gross. Loaded my tummy up on ginger to mask the bad taste in my mouth. There’s peking duck on the other end of the L shaped area of the buffet — the man places the pieces of duck on your bun. Feel free to ask him to keep loading up on those pieces, and then add the sauce and veggies to the bun! The hot food was fine — I tried the veggies which were good. With my gluten allergy, I had to be cautious with the other foods. I also had the clams in black bean sauce — t’was fine as well. Among many other dishes, there’s dim sum, soup, and even American food(weird? i was wondering who’d eat American food at a Chinese buffet, and oddly enough, I saw that many did). There’s also a huge dessert section — I didn’t try anything from there but there’s soft serve on the corner and a lot of fresh fruit available. I’m not sure if I’d come back here, but the price — $ 49 for 2 people with one beverage — is cheap. Not sure why anyone would think that’s expensive for a AYCE Chinese buffet with oysters and snow crabs! Just not sure if it’s worth the trip from Fort Lee. P. S.- I guess a lot of people think this is a hot spot for birthdays because that cheesy birthday song kept coming on. Don’t put that on repeat please — it’s brutally annoying.

I am always skeptical of buffets because I expect nonexistent waitstaff & mediocre food. Not here… the food was fresh, delicious, and replenished as needed. No waiting around for your favorite food to be restored as is usually the case. Where else can you overindulge in unlimited, meaty, & delicious crab legs for $ 20?

I’m not sure what to expect from all you can eat Chinese food places. You’ve been to one so you’ve been to all of them. That being said the prices are a wee bit too high right off the bat. Good food mixed with lukewarm food mixed with food you don’t want to touch. When the foods good its good though.

I love this place. They have everything on the buffet: salad, steak, seafood, sushi as well as cooked to order food like steak and chicken. They are constantly replacing dishes as they get low and always wiping up spills or drips so buffet area is always spotless. The staff is friendly and attentive without being pushy or annoying.

Dynasty Buffet is considered a high-end Chinese buffet. They have sushi, crab legs, a grilling station, and more of your usual buffet foods. At $ 47 for two people(with two waters), I honestly expected more. The sushi was good, but not great. The crab legs weren’t refilled as frequently as other buffet restaurants I’ve been to. And the overall variety of food at Dynasty Buffet isn’t impressive. The best part about this place was the grilling station that had ribs and steaks, though some was burnt. It’s not a bad buffet spot, I’ve just had much better for the same price.

Alright– let’s cut to the chase. Uno) The outside does absolutely no justice to its interior décor. You’d drive by assuming it’s another low quality AYCE in the middle of nowhere. It may be in the middle of nowhere but it’s damn impressive looking for a Chinese buffet. Dos) I just finished watching 3rd Rock From The Sun and I’m about to cry. Tres) They serve Chicken Parmigian. I didn’t eat it but my friend did and it certainly adds a nice WTF variety to its food. IV) I walked in there stuffed from Johnny Rockets thinking I’d hate myself. It turns out I didn’t make a decision to regret. Of course, other than breaking up with that girl who got really hot after. «I REGRETNOTHING» — Hedonism Bot V) They have a grill for steak and ribs. I’m going to classify this as «Good WTFs» 6) You know when you run out of sprinkles when eating ice cream? YOUCANKEEPREFILLINGTHEMHERE! I know… I’m a genius. 49⁄7) They fall short of a star for not having a crêpe station. 7a) That’s like going your whole life without having sex in public. Why would you do that? As of all I like this buffet over minado, it’s not cheap dinner time cost about 40 for two people, food is constantly refill and follow, I like that because food it’s fresh that way. And they also have soft ice cream. Even though they don’t have much selection but food is fresh, but service was not that great. The woman In the counter was nice and polite. Over all I will come back for next time, just for my craving for buffet.

I’ve been here a lot of times and have to say this is by far the BEST buffet I’ve been to. Yes, it is pricey but what do you expect? The food is fresh and they have tons of variety,(not your typical buffet). They have Asian food, seafood, and my favorite part are the crab legs. They are huge and well seasoned and they never stop bringing them out, as soon as they see they are gone they keep bringing more. They have oysters, which I love. Their soft vanilla ice cream it’s so so good, it’s not watery like from most buffets. Their crème brûlée used to be amazing, however I was there this past Saturday and it wasn’t so good. At least not like before. Overall, this is my favorite buffet!

I personally love this place and I always leave satistied. I have a routine on how to eat here. The best things from here are the sushi, the chicken teriyaki, the scallops wrapped in bacon, the fried wontons with cream cheese & crab, and the crème brûlée. They are best at lunch since it is cheaper. I do find the price raising up here and there to eat. The service is good since they refill your drink when ever it is empty. I come every so often since I already know what I want and they fill me up perfectly without being uncomfortable.

I live 5 minutes from this place and always come here with my parents during Lunch. Their lunch hour gets pretty packed(12−130pm) but they’re very consistent with bringing food out. Unfortunately it’s a smaller buffet so they lack variety with the food choices, but it’s enough to get you full. Comparing this place to Minado, I’d have to say the speed of Dynasty is much better than Minado. Minado is overpriced and the food does not turn over fast enough. I would suggest this place to anyone in the area looking for something simple and enough to fill your stomach. For those who are looking for a high end buffet, this will not be the place. I gave this place 4 stars because I took one off for cleanliness. Although they’re consistent with cleaning at the buffet line and under tables, the booths are still a little dirty.
