Even though I was dead set on ribs and they were out, the staff was so nice, and the food so good, I had to give em 5 stars! Me and my boyfriend shared a bbq chicken plate, which was more than enough for the two of us, and it was REALLY delicious. I’m not usually a big fan of chicken either. They also brought out complimentary cornbread and a noodle salad for us to try. The owners came up and made conversation with us, and it seems like a really laid back place. We will definitely be back!

Second time coming in service is great and the food is amazing. Ordered the 12 rib combo with fried mac and cheese balls.

I don’t know if the service I received is their standard but it was incredible. While waiting for dinner the chef served me several off menu appetizers and made me feel like I was at home. A home with a live in chef that is. I can’t wait to bring my BBQ loving wife here next time!

One of the most expensive, but grossly disappointing, meals my wife and I have ever experienced. As a Texas transplant, I know barbecue and, folks, this was not it. Our total bill with tip was $ 38.00, an outrageous price for incompetent service and even more incompetent food preparation. Fried Alligator: the balls were mushy and over-seasoned, with a sauce that appeared unappetizing and even less tasteful. If anyone is ever in a major Texas city, please visit Pappadeux for REAL alligator the way it should be prepared. Pulled Pork Sandwich: Tasteless and smothered in slaw. Potato Salad: How can this dish be screwed up? It lacked lively ingredients like pimiento and had, once again, a mushy presentation. This restaurant occupies the site of the previous Mexican restaurant, La Paloma, an equally sub-par food business. Prediction: by the end of 2017, another name will adorn the doorway. What a shame…

they say that bbq is all about time and smoke. i don’t know about the smoke, but they sure to take their time. from the moment we entered the door it took 20 min to take our drink order. the waters never came and my beer was 30% head. most of the menu items were sold out and what was left took 90 solid min to arrive. we wolfed down our food and when the bill came, it was wrong. $ 100 for 3 dinners and 2 beers. needless to say, I was less then impressed. its a shame that when this place closes, it will be because of something preventable like bad service. one star.

Wow!!! Take me back to Oaktown! Damn good ribs. Great Mac n cheese. I can’t wait to try more. The new chef is AWESOME. I’m not a fan of bbq sauce but the sauces are amazing. I hope this place is around for years to come!

I went to stuck in Lodi café for the first time April 29th2016. The location is great with surrounding shops. The chief which is new to the area Tim greeted us and the worker were very friendly. I ordered the roast beef melt it was delicious the beef was tender, and I just loved the dipping sauce that was served I also ordered the peace cobbler it was delicious. My daughter and her five kid teenagers(my grands) enjoyed the atmosphere and the food so much we will definitely return to this café again I really enjoyed the food very flavorful! My hat off to the chief TIM.

So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant on a Friday night! It was right around bed time for our little one and took a chance, best decision!!! Seated right away and given a sample of the chicken that just came off the smoker. It was the best smoked chicken we had ever had! So tender and flavorful, the cherry sauce complimented it perfectly. We ordered the 4 meat plate, plenty for two to share and took a lot home. Ribs, pulled pork, beef, and chicken. Every item was so delicious we can’t pick a favorite. Did I mention the beer… They have 20 beers on tap! Nice little selection of IPA’s. The owners were very nice and chatted with us a bit. Very accommodating to our sleepy toddler. We will be returning and telling friends and family to check this place out. Best BBQ in Lodi and surrounding area!!!

Had lunch here for the first time. We had the pulled pork sandwich. I got fries as a side and my husband got baked beans. Everything was delicious. The service was a little slow but they just got a new chef so he seems to be figuring things out. He gave us some sweet potato pie for dessert and it was also good. I am sure we will go again.

Good people who greeted us with smiles. The Chef even came to our table, introduced himself, and struck up conversation about what he cooks. He was open to critisism on what we liked or disliked so he can improve. The food was served in a timely manner, tasted great, and service was just fine. Pricing is about the same you find around town. My lady and I split the four meat with two sides for 23 bucks not including drinks and took some home. We plan on returning to support a locally owned business.

if you read through the reviews, you will probably see why a 3 is in order. It is a love/hate deal with stuck in Lodi. In my opinion, when they get it right, it is some of the best bbq I have had. When they miss, they miss big. I have traveled most of the country and have eaten out way more in my life than I would wish on anybody. Stumbling into stuck in Lodi one day for lucch, I was blown away by the authentic smoked bbq. The service left a bit to be desired, but I wrote that off to the newness of the place. Unfortunately, since that first visit I have been back around 8 times. I would say the ¾ of the time the food was great and the service poor, the other ¼ the food was fair, the order was wrong and service horrible. I have met the owners on a number of occasions, and I just don’t think that they quite get the hospitality industry. They are very nice people and care, but there is a difference between caring and competence and the food industry is a tough one. I hope they figure it out as I do believe it would be a great addition to Lodi, but if they don’t, I would hurry in as the smoked meat is TX quality BBQ.(most of the time)

Good, but the french dip sandwich is NOT worth $ 16. There is absolutely nothing special about this place. The sandwiches & burgers are served with a large pile of below-average tasting french fries, which deceives the eye and adds fuel to their money machine. What the hell is wrong with these people? Oh yeah, its called GREED! Why can’t they offer a good product at a fair price?

Will be eating here again! Had the Pig fries — bbq pork on carmelized onions on melted cheese on french fries. It’s a full meal. Décor is simple. Very clean. Service fast and friendly. Can’t wait to try the brisket sandwich or ribs next visit.

We will be back here for sure. The food was pretty good and not to mention there is 20 beers on tap. Also they support the military, local emergency services and teacher.

Absolutely in love with Stuck In Lodi. Have been here for breakfast and it was excellent! Came here today for lunch and had the dinner Brisket plate and omg! Huge huge portions and flavors are awesome! Had the twice baked potatoes and was wonderful. Price was $ 16. Not bad for how much you get and also the flavors you get to savor… Definitely will be back again and again! The service has always been great! Best bbq around Lodi!

Great addition to Lodi. Had the brisket stuffed potato skins… amazing. Brisket sandwich with bourbon sauce… to die for. Soft bread, breaks apart and not stingy. Bleu burger was the right blend of cheese and beef. The burger is juicy and flavorful. Not too much there to get in the way. Fires were ok, 7 out of 10 for beer battered fries. More flavor would hit the 10 mark. Texture was good.

Arrived at 12:30. Immediately seated(good). They don’t have their liquor license yet, so no beer(bad). Quickly ordered drinks which were promptly delivered(good). Waitress informed us that pulled pork was sold out(bad – it’s a BBQJOINT), and one of the sauces was out. Ordered brisket sandwich with onion rings And wife ordered pulled chicken with beer batter fries. Orders came quickly but they forgot fries and gave us both rings. Owners said they would immediately correct it and give us the fries. That never happened. Brisket sandwich was good, as were the rings, but pulled chicken was dry and overly salty. Drink refill didn’t have ice refills to go with them so ice tea was a bit warm. I also asked for a lemon wedge fort tea and they brought me a whole lemon slices. Portions are big but Sonia the price at $ 14.95 for sandwich plus an extra for the onion rings. Need to work out some kinks before I return.
