Woodbridge Pizzeria

I ordered a calzone from here today, it was AMAZING and very inexpensive. I work down the street from here I wish I knew about this place a long time ago this is defiantly my new favorite place to eat lunch!

I have been very pleased and a bit disappointed with Woodbridge.
I’ve been here several times in the last month and most of them have been spectacular.
Today however, fell flat. The young man working seemed to be the only one on staff, didn’t seem to listen to our order, and didn’t seem to put care into the pizza when he made it.
Overall the pizza quality had been great but today was average. It’s inconsistent and frustrating.

Still love the place. Sadly, Jareth has been gone for some time now, but this place is still in my top 5 list for pizza joints… And they deliver East of Alpine Rd– Woot woot.

Very nice atmosphere. Good pizza and improving beer selection. Salad bar and pizza buffet are both great. Fun place and good service.

After a happy afternoon at the ZinFest all hubby and I wanted was to relax at our hotel and chow down on pizza. Along came Woodbridge pizzeria! With the help of an employee who sent us a text pic of the menu we ordered a delicious #3 BizcuitCrippler. Delivery was prompt, thanks Woodbridge !

This place is a real gem! The 5.99 Calzone or personal pizza is one of the best deals around and oh you also get a drink with that price. Very generous portion and great quality ingredients! Candy was the best server and I’ll be back as often as I can be.
Took my mom on Mother’s Day and she really enjoyed it! Clean and worth the wait!

We came here for St Patricks Day, first time here. Customer service and the food were incredible. They even made green beer and check it out, green calzone crust. Food and everything were delicious. We will definitely be back soon!

Came in around noon for lunch only one other table being used decided on the lunch buffet. No pizza out yet so they asked us what kind we wanted. We got pepperoni and combination.
Nice salad bar, loved the green olives and deviled eggs, olive oil bottle needs to be changed to just straight extra virgin (it was a canola blend, and bottle needs washed) enjoyed our salad and some video games while we waited for the pizza, didn’t take long and we had hot fresh pizza.
Nice thin crust, combo loaded with toppings only did one pizza and halved it with the pepperoni and combo so when my son asked if they could get more pepperoni the guy at the counter whipped it right up, (maybe they might want to make a whole pizza the next time the see a very large teenage boy) they also made a cheesy bread that was delicious.
Overall excellent service, good hot pizza and great salad bar. Served all day long.

Great service, small place great for relaxing. Putting out a great pie wonderful flavor. Employees are real friendly and outgoing. Great for kids. If you haven’t been I suggest making this a place on your must try list.

Very average pizza.
The saving grace is that the pizza buffet is available everyday all day.
Adequate salad bar, pizza buffet and a 20 oz soda with free refills for $ 7.99.
Since I arrived in the middle of the afternoon, there was no pizza on the buffet. The nice young man offered to make an individual pizza of my choice. I was happy with that and I also ordered the cheese bread sticks. Both were average. They put pizza out on the buffet as the crowd increases. When I left there was a choice of three different pizzas.
Where this store and the Woodbridge store shines is their broasted food.

This place is amazing!!! We ordered a pizza and some errands to run. They delivered the pizza fresh and on time just as we got home. The pizza was amazing. Great service. ! Thank you guys for a great experience. We will always get our pizza from them.

4 stars go out to the friendly and helpful staff, as well as, the pizza of course! The bottom of the pizza was nice and crisp, as was the crust; the pizza was cooked perfectly!
My only complaints were that the salad bar was neglected. I arrived at 1pm and the lettuce and other veggies were very wilted. I would have understood if I came in at around 3:30p but not right at 1p! And lastly everything was sticky and not cleaned very well, this includes very wobbly, sticky tables and dirty bathrooms.
Having said that, I’m young… I’ll still come back for the good pizza!

I’ve been here for 20+ minutes already and there is no pizza, salad is good but c’mon I came for the pizza and the guy (working by himself) is chatting with the Budweiser guy about sports… Time for lunch is always short and I’m dissapointed of this place, service is really bad and they probably don’t care, I would like to review the pizza but it doesn’t exist here.

Pizza was decent. Service was terrible. Some kid in a monster energy drink shirt waited on us. I didn’t even know he worked there. I saw him spill ranch dressing on a dudes pants the next table over and said «my bad.» Yes it was his bad. This place is bad. Why even bother having a server? I’d much rather order over the counter and wait for my pie to be called out. The pizza itself was okay, toppings were fresh yet the crust was gum-​slicing hard. There are far better pizza joints in town both in service and taste.

Great food and a great price.

This place was pretty good. We were looking for a good pizza place and some locals said it was pretty good so we went. The place was nearly empty and we got it to go. The staff was nice and fast and our huge order was done in about 15 minutes. The pizza and wings that we got were pretty dang good. And really hot.

Ok, first, I don’t do «check-in’s» because I don’t want people knowing where I am. That being said, I am here alot! Like last night. I needed 4 pizzas for my son’s high school class, and Jareth, the manager here, gave us a GREAT deal, so the kids recieved GREAT pizza! When it came time to pick the pizzas up, they smelled so good, that after putting them in the car, we went back and ordered another to take home for dinner. We ordered an X-​Large, with half being the Garlic Chicken and the other half I forget the name, but it had 3 different types of salami/​/​pepperoni, tomatoes, red onions and olives. Super super Delicious!
I definitely recommend calling and making sure Jareth is working, as seeing the negative reviews, I don’t see how you could possibly get bad service when he is there. I am EXTREMELY PICKY, and if I get bad service, I will most definitely Unilocal it! Lol
Will be coming here again next week!

I’ve just had the absolute worst experience at this place. I cannot even put into words how disappointed I am at this moment.
The Order:
2 personal pizza lunch specials to go @$ 5.99/each (was $ 4.99 before)
#1 pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, pineapple
#2 onions, mushrooms, olives, pineapple
Immediately I was kind of put off by the older man that was apparently there by himself. He took my order slowly. Cashed me out slowly. And when I ask how long the wait would be, he told me– «I’m slow, so. ya know!!!» He had a complaint for absolutely EVERYTHING during the duration of the order. I told him to stick his head out and wave at me in my car when it was ready and I’d come in. He agreed.
I went out to my car and waited approx 20 – 25 minutes. Seemed an extremely long period of time for personal pizzas. So I went in. By this time there was a girl who had seemingly just started her shift helping him out in the back. They were back by the oven trying to fetch out a pizza that had gotten stuck in the back. Of course, one of my pizzas. The guy noticed me standing there and came out to tell me it was going to be another 7 – 10 minutes due to the fact the pizza got stuck and they were going to have to remake it. There was NO apology at this point. I was nice about it, I understand daily hiccups. They can be unavoidable sometimes. I smiled and told him «no worries…» and I went back out to my car.
10 – 15 minutes later, I went back in and the guy was getting my pizza out of the oven. The girl prepared my drinks while he was boxing up my pizzas. Shortly there after I was handed my pizzas and I left, again. NO apology for the extra wait. But I didn’t say anything, because –especially– at this particular joint the customer service is usually always less than anything you’d expect. I was just happy to finally have my pizzas and to go home.
Got home and opened up my box, pizza #2 (I’m guessing the remake) and attempted to take out a slice of pizza and couldn’t. The dough was stuck to the cardboard. I tried around the whole pizza and was met with the same disappointment and torn pizza slices that were not cooked thoroughly. The dough was raw on the bottom.
I got back into the car and took my pizza back in. I approached them both and showed them the pizza they sent me home with. I told them that the pizza was uneatable. That I couldn’t even get a whole piece to come out of the box and that the dough was raw on the bottom. I was met with blank stares.
The guy offered up a «sorry kid…» and the girl didn’t say anything. There was ABSOLUTELY no offer to correct issue or to make it right whatsoever. I told the girl that I would just like my money back at that point. She said, «ok», opened the draw and gave me my money. NO APOLOGY from her. I left so furious, I was basically no longer hungry.
It is incomprehensible to me how a joint can be that absent-​minded when it comes to customer service. Usually the pizza is bomb and makes up for what customer service lacks severely, but when both are lacking. we’ve got a problem.
I noticed the price hike on most items, up a dollar than what it used to be. I assume this means they are struggling and had to make up the difference.
Here is how you make up the difference, have spectacular customer service and product EVERYTIME, regardless of which joint you choose to go to. It should be across the board. And if something is lacking or there is an error made, correct it. Ensure that the customer will come back and continue to give there money to local businesses, instead of popular chains.
Customer service can make or break a joint. In this case, its breaking it. And apparently from other reviews, I am not the only one.

Wow! I did just give them one star. That’s right! Had you asked me about the food a year or so ago, I would have said 4 stars.
This place has gone down hill really fast. I used to think the service was just bad but the pizza was always good. But the last few times the pizza is down right awful.
We ordered 2 pizzas a few days ago using our groupon! (Yes, groupon is the only reason we decided to give this place our money again, one last time.) Both pizzas were horrible. We got a large with salami & olives and a small cheese pizza. How can you possibly mess up an easy order like that? Well, Woodbridge Pizzeria sure the heck can. The large pizza had a huge piece that was cut of out of it & then pushed together as it f was magically going to connect. The pizza wasn’t even in the shape of a circle the pieces were cut out of crazy proportions. You’ve got one huge piece & then a bunch of small ones. The cheese was barely melted and just did not seem fresh. The sauce… YUCK! The small cheese pizza was not much better considering this cheese & nasty sauce issue.
We will not be back. I’ve given this place way too many chances.

What!!! 2.5 stars? No way! I go to eat at restaurants for the food! Not the ambience or environment. Hell, give me excellent food and poor service and I’ll be back with a smile. This place has AMAZING pizza! The texture of the crust is thin, crispy, yet chewy with a bit of a crunch to it. The employees there are great! I don’t know them personally, but they are always welcoming, nice, and tend to you the moment you walk in. Recently, I called in to pick up a order. Arrived early so they let me know it will be a few more minutes (I didn’t mind); after informing me the guy behind the counter offered me a drink while I waited. At that point, I made myself eat in versus taking it home.
Judge restaurants for their food,. This place has always been clean whenever I’ve been there. There’s a TV, Arcade and beer on tap. The END.
