Menu has changed for the worse. They don’t even do pizza anymore, which is a huge mistake. Burgers seem to be their new focus, and sadly they are seriously lacking here. First, they lack flavor. they don’t even use sauces on them or even offer them. My server said the beef juices alone will do the job sufficiently. Umm, it didn’t. The patty was overcooked, underseasoned and dry as could be. There wasn’t even a drip of any«juices». Their beef patties are thin, finely ground and tightly pressed, and taste cheap and prepackaged. My wife couldn’t finish her super thin Monte Cristo sandwich. I tried half. it was basically a panini pressed grilled cheese sandwich with an unidentifiable sweet jam on it, caramelized onions, and a few thick slices of ham. No French toast, no powdered sugar. It’s like they tried to go modern and minimal on it, but had no idea what they were doing. This sandwich is supposed to be sinful and decadent. Big time miss. A couple of things they are doing better, I did enjoy their daily special Tri Tip Sandwich. lots of flavor, meat cooked and seasoned well. Fries are beer-battered and crispy, pretty darn good. Dollar margaritas on Thursdays are small, but done right and a nice draw. I do enjoy the modern feel of the dining room, the dark colors and mood lit ambiance with a large central bar. And the flat screen TVs are placed well enough to see the game but don’t overwhelm the space. To the owners. play with some flavors, try more sauces, mix it up, get creative. Make some interesting tacos, try pork belly. This place had loads of potential, but currently has a long ways to go.

Went in here last night heard it was a nice place. The new owner had come to my friends’ work and handed out menus, so we kinda figured they were pretty dedicated to getting the word out about them. I couldn’t have been more wrong after seeing how I was treated. We were told it’d be about 20 minutes for a table. Figuring only two of us, we asked to sit at the bar. The host said that’s fine and didn’t even bother to escort us over there. We were then brought menus and that was that. We waited for 15 minutes before someone even came and asked us if we’d like drinks. Weren’t even brought or offered water in that time frame. I ordered a beer and a shot, my friend ordered a three ingredient cocktail. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. After 15 more minutes, we were finally asked what we’d like to eat. If was then explained. I told the guy nothing and he said you have to order food; we’re a restaurant and I can’t serve you drinks without ordering food. From someone who’s worked in the restaurant and bar industries before extensively, I do believe I’m up to date on the law. But I’ve also found that you can’t argue with some servers, they just have to be right. My friend paid for our drinks. I laid five bucks down on the bar and said chips and salsa then. I was able to make it out the door before that arrived. Maybe the staff has something against a cowboy? I don’t know. What I do know is, some of the worst service I’ve ever received and I most definitely won’t be back.

Nice atmosphere and great décor. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Really like their pulled pork sandwich. My lady must always have their chicken tortilla soup. They have some tasty beers on tap and it is a fun place to watch some games.

I loved the pizza and the prime rib(and Pu Pu platter made of leftover prime rib). Not loving the new menu. Pineapple kimchi sounds yummy. Well, it’s shredded cabbage, ranch dressing, and some barely perceptible pineapple… what about that is kimchi? There’s ranch on everything here now. The location is great, the bar is cool, the food is… Meh. Bring back pizza! Warn people about ranch.

New owners have made this place even better! On Tuesdays or Wednesdays, they have a rib sandwich special! I literally have dreamed of this sandwich and salivate every time I think of it. Yes, I am salivating now just writing this review. Their spinach artichoke dip is also amazing. Really everything I have tried so far is amazing. The atmosphere is really nice and the prices are very decent for what you get. Definitely a good local feel if you are looking for something unique!

New owner Mario(also owner of Mundo’s) has ramped up the menu with amazing food. I recommend the special on Friday and Saturday. It’s Ossobuco pork shank and it’s unbelievable.

Not just pizza and pub food! This place has really good food. Party of 7 all found something to enjoy. Appetizers are great but be careful not to fill up. Save room for great burgers, Chicken, pasta, chops. Clean. Great service. Recommend!

As of June 1, 2015, Bull’s Head has a new owner, new staff, and completely new menu. Mario(the owner of Mundo’s) is now running both places and he recreated the menu. The Lasagna is amazing. The fries are some of the best in town. The Jambalaya and Chicken Chardonnay are also delicious entrees I’ve tried so far. I’ve heard good things about the steak and burgers. The tres leches is huge and delightful. If you’ve been here before, this is a completely different restaurant with majorly improved service and food.

We heard this restaurant was under new ownership so we decided to try it. I tried 3 different shrimp dishes and they were amazing. I was very impressed with the new menu changes. If you have not tried it recently you have to go try some of the new dishes.

I wish they would get better cooks who actually care about what the owner is trying to build and not just people looking for a check. Unfortunately this place never has everything in stock you could say. If you find something on the menu their is a good chance they are out of the ingredients. This never gets fixed time after time they allow it to happen. These factors will make it increasingly hard to stay open. The environment is awesome though. They would benefit from a new menu however that is more thought through with students. Possibly a survey? If you want a quick drink however and an appetizer and not a meal I highly recommend this place after 8. Apps are half off then and beers are usually a dollar or dollar fifty. I used to go there once a day as I live right next door but now I seldom find myself inside for these exact reasons. It’s too bad…

This place is ok. The half price starters after 8 is fun and the bar is never busy. Don’t come to the Bloody Mary bar. Just average. Nothing exciting to write about. Good place to watch sports.

I really like this place. The food was really great. I was surprised that a burger had been so well thought out. I was concerned about seasoned fries(I’m a less is more kind of guy) but they were actually very tasty. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but my wife and I both enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. My biggest complaint is that when I tried to return last night at 10pm the doors were locked and they had apparently closed early. Window states the hours were 11am till 11pm. I saw staff inside but apparently they were done for the night. This concerns me because I worry this a sign that they are not doing the business they’d hoped for and are closing up early to avoid paying staff to hang out. If that is the case then it’s a bummer because I enjoyed the food.

Due to the advantageous location of this bar, adjacent to one of the bigger apartment complexes near campus, as well as the fact that it is one of three full bars in town, I was shocked to see it nearly empty at 10:00 on a Saturday night. We were the first customers to arrive in quite some time and it took a little while for the cooks to locate the waiter to seat us and take our drink orders. The restaurant itself is sleek, with blue lighting and exposed cement flooring that has a shiny finish. The thousands of peanut shells littering the ground are an incongruous and unwelcome addition. I found myself itching to sweep the floor while waiting for our order to arrive. My friend and I ordered cheeseburgers. I had the 50 Yard Line, basically a bacon cheeseburger, and my friend ordered The Touchdown, which had peppers and pepper jack cheese. We were both very pleased with them, as well as the fries that that came out hot and crispy. The rest of the menu looked good as well, and we’ll probably be back next time we’re in the mood for wings or pizza. The Bull’s Head is also one of very few restaurants in town that offers Rocky Mountain oysters, a fact which our waiter informed us makes them very popular. With whom, I’m not sure. The nasty peanut shells in my sandals aside, I’ll definitely be back to the Bull’s Head. It’s a fun spot. Hopefully USU students realize what a great place they have right next door and start taking advantage of it. It would be a shame for our dry little town to lose one of its few existing oases.

I tried something different this time and I just wasn’t impressed with the food. I had the Monte Cristo panini which sounded much better on the menu then it really was. I had a side salad instead of fries, because as with my last review I didn’t like their fries. It’s likely not somewhere I would regularly visit since the food is just not that great. Overall, my panini was OK, but I think I could have made a better one at home. It was very greasy and didn’t really satisfy. I also had the hummus appetizer, which was decent. My friend ordered the nachos and only the cheese on top was melted. Once he got to the second layer of chips it was just regular shredded cheese. I think they need to at least make sure the cheese is melted for the nachos. Service was good.

I came to Bull Head for a meeting with a school colleague to work on some homework together. The place was nice. seating, lighting, service, etc. I ordered the herb fries and a beer, and they were some of the best fries I’ve ever had! Unfortunately, they don’t have any other options for gluten/wheat-free. They are probably the closest bar to campus, which is nice. I loved the blue lighting at the bar, but the peanut shells all over the floor seem to be out of place in an otherwise semi-classy looking establishment. I like that they seem to be very focused on local ingredients, and obviously having an Aggie’s theme fits. I do think it would be nice to add more options for patrons with dietary restrictions, especially because no food options *on* campus have them, and, well, I think everyone should include more options for people like me. In summary, the fries may be worth another visit, but their menu could use some improvement.
