Wife and I love Mortys! She has the Yucatan burger, and I vaccilate between the Portabello burger, and the Reuben. Fries are extra.

I’m in town visiting friends and was happy to find a spot with great vegan options. I had the Mexican quinoa salad and sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and good quality. The views from the top patio are stunning. They even had kombucha! Cute vibe and well priced.

Ultimate Burger Sadness! the Kim Kardashian of Burgers! Got the Yucatan. Burger looked huge, with the meat protruding past the bun! Was a little messy at first. Very tasty once I was able to get burger and toppings in one bite. But then something weird started happening. Burger meat started becoming less and less with each bite, until pretty soon it was just somewhat dry bun with the toppings, no meat! I realize that they have made me a hamburger ‘donut’, with all the meat hanging outside the bun for looks, but a big 3″ hole in the patty hidden by the toppings! With each bite the burger got sadder and sadder, until I had just a three inch round«non-burger». What started out so promising ended up being a hollow and sad experience. Please Morty’s, don’t put out hamburgers that look impressive on the outside but are in fact hollow on the inside. Please don’t make Kim Kardashian burgers! (I would love to try the burger again some day, if only you would make the burger patty fit the bun so I could enjoy the meat and toppings together!) Oh, and my mates each had the same problem(Icon burger and Hawaiian). We all had the same progressively sadder experience. Bad policy Morty’s, bad policy.

Delicious and inexpensive. And quick! Get the Hawaiian burger with scone fries or sweet potato fries. Cool atmosphere; really takes me back to college!

Ordered online, left way before the time that was suggested, took 10 mins to find a parking spot then another 15 mins to get my order. By the time I was home it was cold and there was so much fry sauce and it that it was dripping with it and cold frys! This place needs some serious rework before I will go back. I order online to skip the crowds not wait in line.

Got the kimchi burger out of curiosity. It’s traditional Korean kimchi on a burger with carrot cabbage. I love kimchi but wasn’t feeling this particular burger. Disappointed with the fries. They remind me of Burger King fries — crusty outside with oily aftertaste. I would recommend the sweet potato fries over the regular fries. Gonna come back and try another burger because it seems everyone loves this place. First visit didn’t live up to all the hype.

Great Burger!!! I’m not sure which one I had because I had them surprise me, but it was delicious! The fries were cooked to perfection and the staff that helped us were super friendly and willing to make suggestions. They do need to move to a bigger location. We went at 3:30 in the afternoon and it was pretty busy I can’t imagine trying to find a table during lunch or dinner rush. I’m excited to go back again and try some of the other options! I also want to try the scone fries.

Ate there yesterday on some coworkers recommendation I was very glad I did! I had the Iberian with scone fries with hiney butter. Both tasted great! I kinda wolfed down the messy burger since I was starving, but it tasted great. Next time, I’m gonna try the Hawaiian.

Love Morty’s! Definitly one of the very best options for burgers in Logan. Parking is shit, but if you are a student on campus it’s not a big deal. Burger’s are great. They have an excellent variety to choose from, including more conventional style and a couple very strange but delicious combinations. The fries are very good. Usually the whoever working the counter is friendly and outgoing, but a couple times I’ve gone it seemed like that counter worker hated their life. Patio seating both upstairs and streetside is great. Building is very modern has a pleasant atmosphere. Pricing can feel a bit high. I feel like the portion of french fries with you a meal has gotten smaller over time. A few more fries and I wouldn’t mind the price. Try the Yukatan burger! It’s great!

Love eating here! Delicious food with fresh ingredients! Very nice building and atmosphere, also if you get the chance go upstairs and enjoy your meal while taking in the best view of the valley I’d do so! I’ll definitely be going back!

First off, Logan needs more places like this, that embrace modern cooking and aren’t afraid of flavor. That being said, Morty’s burgers are fresh and taste good. For a ‘gourmet’ burger they’re a little light for the price. And flavors could be more imaginative. Considering that, price could include fries or be lowered some. But I do enjoy that crispy, caramelized sear they do on their burger patties. Plus all of the sides here are very tasty. the beer-battered fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings and scone fries, I dig ‘em all. But there are other issues… they need a busser, to clean tables and empty their trash. Tables are always dirty and trash often overflowing. And if you already have a busser, keep them in the dining room. Also, parking can be a nightmare, which is nothing new near USU. And the main dining room is too small, meaning in winter you’re often waiting for a table at lunch. Also, orders get screwed up too often. It can be frustrating if you’re on lunch and pressed for time. Lastly, the workers could be friendlier. Smile more :) Overall, it’s good, but has potential to be better. Be bolder, more daring, give us more value, more substance, tweak a few things, and you’ve got yourselves a real winner. Ps.a cold draft beer goes great with a burger and fries. For us gentiles.

Loved the burgers! We had the Kimchi burger, Sunny Side burger, and the Iconic burger. The Kimchi is slightly salty, but with the Patty and buns it balances quite well. Iconic burger tastes quite good, like a traditional burger should. The surprise is the sunny side burger! The yolk was dripping off the patty and messy, but its gives the burger a eggy taint to the Angus patty. I like it. We like it. The scone fries is like fried dough, the dip is cinnamon butter. Nice but not impressive unlike the burgers. Sweet potato fries is delightful.

Burger was overcooked and dry. Wife’s chicken was OK. Bun fell apart while trying to eat it. Tables were dirty — the restaurant was busy as we arrived. We ordered sweet potato fries but they gave use regular fries. They happily gave us our order of sweet potato fries. The plates used to hold the burgers and fries are aluminum. Metal sucks the heat away from the food on winter nights. The fries quickly lost their heat. Burgers were fine but were on their way to being cold. Great selection of burgers — can be replace with chicken or veggie burger. A big plus.

After my triumphant return to Logan I spent a some time merely marveling at all the new offerings. Morty’s boasts a stunning location as you round old main hill, and I am only just now learning I have missed out on the upper terraced seating. I had the turkey and bacon sandwich with potato fries. No, I didn’t, because the fries aren’t merely a side but rather an event. Each little peace treaty for my stomach took away the grumps I had gained dealing with layers and layers of USU bureaucracy. Let me take the thought away — go here. It’s not a big dog special, but it’s the closest thing you’re gonna get on Darwin.

I had the turkey, bacon, ranch sandwich with avacado added to it. They use shredded turkey rather than deli meat. The sandwich was kind of messy to eat but totally worth it. The fries are very good. I look forward to trying a burger next time because my husband really enjoyed his.

I’m not a native to Logan, so it took me a little while to find the place but boy am I glad I found it! Right off the bat, the architecture is fantastic. The modern look of cement, glass, and straight lines is stylish and aesthetically pleasing! The menus boast of sleek modern design with sans-serif fonts and simple yet accurate descriptions. This is one restaurant that stands on it’s own without the need of franchise power. You might say ‘a burger is just a burger… what makes theirs so special?’ It’s true, there’s not really a good way to re-invent the burger… but Morty’s Café has done a truly fantastic job at adapting a well known meal and making it their own. The burgers have a perfect balance between size and flavor. I’m not a fan of the burgers that load so much stuff on it that you look like an idiot trying to eat it. Here, the amount of add-ons to the burger and the bun is pretty darn perfect. The art of creating a good hamburger is more than just sauce and a few items between the patty and bun. I liked the fact that the flavors of my hamburger didn’t require the sandwich to be 5 inches tall. I can’t stand it when i have to open wider-than-possible just to take a single bite. The burgers here aren’t flat by any means but they aren’t ridiculous food towers either. Really, really great burgers, in every way! Let’s briefly talk fries. I love good fries! I’m sure you do too. There’s nothing more disappointing to a burger meal than mushy fries, or too crunchy, or over-salty…etc. Again, they score a home run with the fries, They are cooked to perfection to give you that nice crunch when you first bite but not too crunchy that you feel like you’re eating a deep-fried pretzel. The salt-to-potato ratio is spot on, making these fries quite irresistible. Oh, and if the weather permits… you’ve got to take advantage of their outdoor seating! We absolutely loved our balcony seats to eat while watching the sunset! I plan on making this place a frequent stop of mine whenever I’m in town.

Yes. My experience here was straight up stellar. From the CLEAN restrooms and the CLEAN tables, to the SCRUMPTIOUS burgers and the FUN people – I had an all around great time. Like I said, it’s a pretty new place so everything is nice and up to date. Don’t get me wrong, some of my very favorite burgers joints have been a little bit on the sketchy side, but Morty’s style is suave and I appreciate that. The food was delightful. I ordered the Hawaiian Burger(and had to pick off the jalepeño slices since hot and spicy is not my area of expertise – have you ever seen me in a red dress? Yep, nope) as well as some killer sweet potato fries. I’ve tried the onion rings and regular fries, both of which as good, but I want great. And that’s where the sweet potato fries come in. It’s slightly pricey, but I think it’s worth it. My burger was about $ 8 and fries were $ 3. There are different options, some of which are cheaper or more expensive; the range of what you’ll spend will most likely be around $ 5-$ 13. It is pretty tiny, that’s the only bummer. Parking is hard to find, and if there are a lot of people, the odds of you getting a table are slim. In the summer, you can go upstairs and eat on the upper balcony. I guess you could eat there in the winter too, but only if you want your fingers to fall off. All I need is someone to give me a menu of their secret menu, and I’d be SET. TIPS&TRICKS: * Grab a punch card and try the different burgers they have to offer! Plus punch cards are always fun, they get you free stuff. * Trivia Tuesday! Grab a group of 5 people and play every Tuesday at 7:30. The owner rewards the winning team with money to use at Morty’s, so why WOULDN’T you go play? Dust off that Trivia Crack App and practice up for the real deal.

Fantastic place to get a burger. Their burgers compare to something you would order at a sit down restaurant — much better than a fast food burger. The french fries are also fantastic. The shakes… not so much. I’ll stick to the burgers and go elsewhere for dessert.
