I had the engineer sub. It was pretty good but way too expensive for the amount of food. Footlong sandwich was $ 10…might as well get subway, but this place is higher quality. The meat is hot but can’t tell that the meat taste better. They provided sauteed mushrooms, onions, and peppers which is a bonus. It is convenient and fast though. I would come here occasionally.

Was looking for a vegetarian place since I was in the area .I ordered a veggie sandwich with avacado but then decided to add veggie beef and it was very good. I have been a vegetarian for 25 years and had never tried veggie beef and I was glad I did. They also had a veggie meatball sandwich.

Angelo’s sells simple food that’s nourishing and a good value. Portions are pretty large here for the price you pay. I don’t know many non-chain restaurants that just sells something as simple good quality spaghetti and I applaud Angelo’s on doing it. The inside ambiance is very casual and almost cafeteria style seating. My favorite is the spaghetti with half meat sauce and mizithra cheese. I always just get the large and it comes with garlic rolls for about $ 9. The good thing is the portion is so large that it usually lasts me 3 meals. Angelo’s spaghetti is definitely the best spaghetti I’ve had. The mizithra cheese really makes the spaghetti here special and the garlic rolls are super oily but super addictive. I’ve tried the meatballs here, but I’d skip on that. They were pretty bland and you don’t get that many with the pasta. The turkey avocado sandwich is also really good here and one of the best in town. A half portion is enough for a meal, but get a large if you want to save some for another meal later. My fiancé likes the pastrami sandwich here. The sandwiches come with macaroni salad, which is pretty good but not really my cup of tea. I’m not a huge fan of mayo based pasta salads. They have a complimentary veggie bar here, which is good to have but nothing special. To sum it up Angelo’s is great value for what you get. The food is simple, but the quality is solid. The fiancé and I will be back again and again.

Delicious. Great food. Quick. Small salad bar for some side items. I always get the half order of spaghetti with meats sauce. Comes with a bunch of rolls and will fill just about anyone up. I would highly recommend this place!

Great place for fast basic Pasta and sandwiches! The 5 Pillars: Food: known for its mizithra cheese spaghetti, I actually prefer the spaghetti and meatballs without the mizithra. The meatballs are flavorful and the pasta is a little soggy, but they give you a ton of food and a plate for side dishes that has basic veggies like carrots, beets, jalapeños, and other things at a salad bar. The sandwiches are better than the spaghetti. they have a roast beef sandwich on squaw bread with added avocados is delicious. their BBQ meatball sandwich is a little heavy but has good flavor. Overall, nothing to write home about, but for a quick pit stop for lunch, this is a great place to get carb loaded and is a good value. Grade: B+

Quality has gone down. Last few visits a disappointment. Smaller portions. Roast beef over cooked, dry.

Consistently good, simple menu, tricky hours but I was pleased to see that they are extended now. Spaghetti with mazithra and half sauce comes with a generous portion of garlic butter rolls. Another favorite for me is the egg salad sandwich. Recently tried the bbq beef on a roll and was not disappointed. Relish bar is always filled with fresh garnish like beets, carrots, pickles etc. Glad to see they don’t charge for cards anymore!

Angelos has been around for over 20 yrs. in the same location. I remember when they were only open for lunch time, now it’s open for dinner too. The menu has never changed and it’s a combination of a lunch counter meets Italian restaurant. The food is consistent but the marinara sauce it kind of bland. The lunch specials are good.

At first I thought the sandwiches here were pricey, and I guess they are when you compare them to subway, but then I discovered their Avocado sandwich on squaw bread. That’s all I’ve been getting ever since. Now I have to find out where i can buy squaw bread in the store.

What can I say… just try it. Then come back to me and ask me why I even asked that question in the first place.

I was craving a non-chain tuna sandwich so I went to Angelo’s based on numerous positive Unilocal reviews. The tuna on squaw bread was savory, satisfying and sumptuous. I was able to add on extra veggies from their Veggie Bar and an appetizing macaroni salad accompanied the sandwich. I will definitely be going back to try their other offerings, and I have already recommended them to my office.

I love the«homey» feel of this little hole in the wall. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and cheese spaghetti. The flavor was yummy. It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it was tasty. I would come back!

Omg, where do I start… the ½ avocado turkey on squaw bread sandwich is big and full of the ingredients with a side of macaroni salad plus you can add more stuff to it at the bar! It will get you full! Their pickles are sweet just perfect! Customer service was excellent, very friendly they made sure I got what I ordered and they were attentive every time I was in line… I never was in line for even a minute! The bad thing is there are no free refills, soda refills cost .50 cents… I drink alot so I had a dollar worth of refills. It is very spacious inside and they have a nice patio, so you won’t feel clostiphobic like I am. Overall, I will go back to try something new.

First of all, I came here mainly to try the macaroni salad, and it did not disappoint. It was so tasty and more than made up for the disappointing mac salad that I had at the Hawaiian place I tried a few weeks ago. I’m not a big fan of buying sandwiches, mainly because it’s one of those things I refuse to buy if I can easily make it at home. However, cooked sandwiches are another thing. Ordered the meatball sandwich. I wanted to try it on squaw bread, but the worker steered me away from it. The squaw bread may not be robust enough to handle the weight of the meatballs, making for a messy eating experience. I opted for the grinder, but I wish I had ordered the squaw: I have this tendency when it comes to sandwiches to eat the insides before eating the bread. I could’ve bypassed any eating mishaps on squaw. Anyway, the meatballs were sadly underflavored. It came with cheese and marinara(?) sauce. And the ½ serving was still pretty big. Sandwich selection was decent; not a place with dozens of variety. But what they do have, they seem to do well. Customers were already lining up at opening, as well as picking up their orders. But the friendly staff still found time to make mine in a timely fashion. There was a separate condiment bar of pickles(long-spear and disks), beets, carrot sticks, cucumbers, jalapeños, mustard, and sliced onions. The inside of the restaurant was bigger than I expected for a sandwich place. I will have to come back to try the garlic rolls and the Greek cheese they use on the spaghetti. And more macaroni salad.

Hidden in a little corner of the plaza pretty close to a Clark’s, this place is almost like a hidden gem. The food is great. They take the simple menu angle and making their limited items very well. Then again, how hard is it to make spaghetti? However, this garlic balls are sooo good. Soaked in olive oil and sprinkled with parmesan cheese, its something I always look forward to eating when I get there. Many people have raved about the garlic balls also. If you want to get your food fast, you have to beat the lunch crowd. So many people come here during lunch that I dare you to go at 12:05pm, just so you can stand in a long line and I can tell you I told you so. Its like the town comes here on the daily during lunch. They’re not open before lunch time which helps them with the whole limited time offer type hours.

Unilocal, I love you for leading me to this place! Because I am biased and am unknown to alot of things, I thought spaghetti factory only had mizithra cheese. I know some costcos carry it but I have only seen it at spaghetti factory. I love it and it’s one of my favorite cheeses and knowing they have it here made me so excited! I ordered a half order of the mizithra and marinara and I have never had mizithra with marinara and it was so good! Probably my new favorite! and the garlic rolls were so good! A little on the oily side but it was ok i patted it down. It is a little out of the way from my school but worth the trip!

This place has been around for who knows when?! But the quality and taste have stayed supreme. Definitely a must have when in the Loma Linda area. Located in a pretty small complex behind Rite Aid, this restaurant has a real old school feel décor wise but it does not matter because the food is what makes me come back. I usually order the spaghetti with meat sauce and mizithra cheese. Each order comes with about 6 – 7 of the best garlic rolls ever. Yeah, i admit that they might be covered in a good amount garlic oil but they are worth the health risk. This is definitely a place to go if you are not on a diet because it is CARB central. Pastrami sandwich is also a must try if you aren’t really feeling pasta. It gets pretty crowded during the lunch hour and they accept cash and debit(extra 75 cent charge). They are also closed on Saturday and Sunday. Aside from that, this place is a local favorite and a must try!

Your typical dinner. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich which comes with macaroni salad. I personally prefer lighter macaroni salads with less mayo so I wasn’t really feeling the heavy, creamy salad they served(which also contained garlic). The sandwich, served on a soft roll, was way too salty. Closed on weekends. They only accept cash or charge .75 for debit. I’ve had better. I was excited to visit this place after the reviews, but while the food was just OK, I really value ambiance a lot… this place didn’t cut it for me at all.
