Too pricey. Snotty cashiers. Particularly this tall, female, athletics looking one. The rewards thing is a cumbersome waste of time. People don’t have time for this crap. Particularly the professionals that pay these expensive prices. Just give us lower prices and sales specials. Great herbal section. Need info book on that isle. Hard to get sincere service. They just point. Lazy! When something like New Leaf Stores comes here they’ll be dead! Fluorescent lighting and vct floors defeat the entire health concept/ambience! Check out New Leaf photos, Santa Cruz, ca. Competitors coming soon! Oh yeah. I bought the wrong essential oil(was in the wrong spot) and returned it, unused, with the receipt. She outright asked me if I had used it. Are you kidding. Check my Rewards account and see the hundreds of products I have purchased. Point is, to insult or accuse a customer is insane. Classic IE poor service. Customer service and friendly smiles are the key to success. Example: Starbucks and In n Out, Costco, etc. Service works if the product us great! Pet section is scant!!! Basically, way, way overpriced.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have no experience with other locations, but the Palm Springs Clark’s was absolutely spectacular. The employees were happy and cheerful as well as helpful and knowledgeable. The produce all looked fresh and the meat case was well enough stocked with organic beef that didn’t have a price tag that made you run screaming. As a matter of fact, that grass-fed organic beef was reasonably priced at about the same price as any low-fat regular beef in a supermarket. And as far as supplements go… so many and all reasonably priced. I write this and I am a person on disability with only a small amount of dispensable income and if I can afford to buy here, anyone can. If you are someone who is looking for the cheapest food you can buy no matter how unhealthy it is for you, don’t bother with this place. Clark’s is for those who realize that eating better food makes one’s body run better and use less fuel. You get back what you put in and if you give your body junk, that’s what you’ll get back in performance.

As a third rate, family owned, 4 location health store, we focus in on the Loma Linda location for Clark’s Nutrition. Upon first entering, you are filled with joy as you realize that you are in a health nuts playground, and get your first glimpse at the reasonably priced health products. Clark’s Nutrition makes a FEW of their competitors cower with their vast selection in their Nutrition department, and the knowledge that those worker’s posses. On the flip side, the produce was bruised and damaged, half of the frozen doors were down for the entire week, dairy seemed to be growing mold and culturing on the shelves and grocery had a large selection of expired product. and freshness, and more importantly, cleanliness. I spoke to a few employees who seemed disgruntled, and though they will remain nameless, they were quick to tell me about their distaste with how they were treated. The drains on the sales floor seemed to be fermenting and growing as if Clark’s were brewing their own brand of Kombucha. When I asked about how old the store was, an employee replied, «the store had been in this location for around 15 years, but the floors and lighting are about three years old.» As we both looked at the floors I slightly chuckled at the amount of dirt that was caked on to the«new» floors, and how they seemed to have aged 7 years past their true age. Updating, a hot mop and lots of their natural cleaner is needed for this Loma Linda Clark’s location. Nice employees don’t suffice for the mold on shelves, expired products on shelves, unsavory looking produce, clogged drains, and ROACH roomies in the customer bathrooms. This place inspires me to eat less meat and eat more healthfully.(Being back in sunny California helps as well.) Their bulk foods are located across 2 walls in a corner section. They have lots of cereals and grain, dried fruit, flours, rice, dried legumes, etc. I didn’t check to see if they had a machine for grinding your own flour, which I was used to at my old health food store up north. The produce was inviting and a wee bit on the pricy side. I still bought a few things, knowing the price made me make sure not to waste the food. They did have meats, which I deliberately tried not to look at. I just know organic meat is always more expensive without looking. The frozen food even has soy-free items: Unfermented soy was always a deterrent to my getting vegetarian food. Their supplements aisles(plural!) was outstanding. Very well organized by function. The have bulk herbs and a great tea section. They even sell raw milk, something which I’ve always wanted to try(and did from here). I love this place, but will have to be judicious in what I can afford here.

My mom used to bring me snd my brother here many moons ago. Recently I’ve been visiting because they have odd items that some of my baking recipes call for… crystalized ginger, potato starch. They’ve got it! Plus, staff is generally pretty helpful and kind. I recommend

If you eat a whole food, or organic diet, this place is like Heaven. It’s much better than Whole Foods, and the selection is amazing.

Pros: I can find products I usually cannot at regular grocers. Healthy products only Cons: I had to call to be sure they accept EBT as it is not advertised even at the entrance. Prices are way too high and I have to get whatever is on sale At the register I was only able to use EBT food not my EBT cash and was asked to pay cash I had on hand for my vitamins. Cashier was not very friendly. Overall, there’s better stores like Sprouts who actually give out deals frequently especially on vitamins. Will not go back, even though this was my first time going here.

I stop into clarks at Loma Linda before or after my weekly meeting for work. The organic drinks are my fav! They have a great selection of vitamins and supplements one of the biggest I’ve seen. They are pricey but you get good quality. Staff are eager to help and are very informative. Really like this clarks and its very organized. No scattered like other places.

I love shopping here. Some of the items can be a little pricy. Other items are more affordable. Recently I chose to stop eating sugar, and purchased some of their SweetLeaf Stevia at 12.99 for 2 oz. It tastes really good. The cheaper brands tastes awful. I buy their Nine Grain Organic Bread, which is mouth watering good. If you have not tried their their candy you are really missing out on something special. Their candy is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. It costs a little more, but so well worth it. Also, don’t leave without trying those veggie chips. Delicious!

Im a 32 year long organic raw vegan, and longer than that just being a health food freak. The organic produce here is some of the best in souther california, and definitely number one in the inland empire, whatever the person is talking about a few reviews below saying the organic produce is just OK, she is crazy; I have been shopping here since they opened this store in 1999 or something, and I have shopped at Clarks in general since i was 13… People come from a 100 miles to shop here for Organic produce, bottom line because it is cheaper, and what you will save will pay for fuel… I also shop at Lazy Acres in Long Beach, that is a good place, but this is far cheaper. Iam in Long Beach somewhat frequently, as well as Whole Foods that exist no where in the Inland Empire, but are prevalent in Los Angeles. It is worth a trip here just to get nutritional advice from a guy that works in the supplement section called Cameron, you can’t miss him if he is working, he is over 61⁄2 feet high with blond hair… This store also has some of the best selection of skin care stuff and hair… Sadly, they are lacking in a lot of raw food stuff, and better selection on superfoods, but I personally make all my raw food stuff at home, which is always insanely pricey… Their Bul Bins are not the best, but are a 7 on a scale of 1 – 10 compared to other California stores, but definitely the best in Inland Empire, Im talking strictly about selection. quality is a 10

The selection is great. However, I had an unfortunate interaction with one of your employees. Maybe it’s just my opinion, but when you call one of your customers ‘fat,’ like he did to me today(granted, I’m not skinny — which is why I’m in the gym every day), It really kills my self esteem. That was incredibly hurtful man. I was buying water! No snacks. No food. Water! To hydrate myself! To stay healthy! Seriously man, you’re gonna come and advertise your gym in Redlands to me while you’re on the clock at Clark’s? Really? And proceed to call me fat? In the words of Barney Stinson, «He has got to go, you need to be like: you are the weakest link goodbye! Punchy, the tribe has spoken. Please pack up your knives and go. Your work of art, didn’t work for me. Your times up. I have to ask you to leave the mansion. You must leave the château. Your tour ends here. You’ve been chopped! You’ve been evicted from the Big Brother house. Your dessert just didn’t measure up. Sashay away! Give me your jacket and leave Hell’s kitchen! You did not get a rose. You have been eliminated from the race. You are no longer in the running to be America’s Next Top Model. You’re fired. Auf Wiedersehen.»

It makes sense, having a health food store in Loma Linda, known primarily for the prestigious Seventh Day Adventist Hospital. And what a beautiful store. And so much larger than their original in downtown Riverside. Really, it is just a made over defunct(pick one) Safeway/Vons/Albertsons store, but exciting in every way. I love Clark’s for their wonderfully large variety and choices of health food, supplements, and natural products. I just wish there was one closer to me.
