I stopped in for some 50 cal mil spec ammo cans. It’s a big place with lots of everything, but walked out when I saw they wanted $ 24.99 for one USED can. I can buy them from Dicks for $ 19.99NEW, or online at around $ 15 with free shipping if I get 3 or more. That’s 25−30% too much. If I have to question every item then, I’m out.

I’ve been driving past this place for years and finally took the opportunity to come in here with my frenchie friend. Neat store! I don’t know what I was expecting but it was a fun place to look around. Everything military related that anyone could just about want: uniforms, shirts, hats, boots, bumper stickers, survival gear, baby gear(who doesn’t need a camo onesie with a tank on it?!) and I believe some weaponry! I’m not needing anything like that, but I was quite tempted by the tanktops and underwear they had for women :8) I didn’t look at prices a ton, but the ones I saw weren’t too bad though I don’t doubt some of them run a little high. The guy who was working there was busy helping someone else when we came in, he seemed like the«if you need help, ask or I’ll leave you alone» type. That’s ok! We were just browsing because frenchie thought about maybe getting a backpack of military style. This place is in a strip mall a little west of Main Street Lombard, right hand side. Shared parking lot. I want to stop in again one of these days. Maybe I’ll get something for myself, but it might be a great place for gifts for some people I know!

Great surplus store! Plenty of inventory with lots of unit patches, pins, and insignia. Prices are reasonable with a great selection. If you are near Lombard it is definitely worth a look.

The merchandise selection is great, but the prices run high and their«no refund/exchange only» policy sucks, especially if it’s on unopened or unused retail products. I would understand the policy for was unique or rare military surplus, but no refunds on everything? They also need to get the checkout organized. There were several people in line with only one checkout person taking over 5 minutes per customer. A number of people gave up and left. leaving their intended purchases piled up on the counters.

Nice place in Lombard… sectioned off nicely and alot of different things that one might need… be it for paintballing or prepping… they give a discount to servicemen(I think 10 percent?) and to law enforcement… and if you buy over 100 dollars you get a discount(a punch card which I believe is a punch for every 10 dollars you spend? Ask about it.) Strip mall parking… not bad.

Nice little place. Has what you’d expect. Seems a good place for a slightly more authentic Halloween costume. Also, the owner Doc is REALLY cool. He made some great recommendations, a few corny jokes and we chatted for a while. I’ll even forgive the anti-Obama flyer in the window(FOURMOREYEARS!) I don’t understand Brian C.‘s comment, there’s at least two big signs emblazoned with«30 Days Exchange Only», and they didn’t look new. Yes, no refunds, but you’re not exactly out of luck.

This place is what it is: An army surplus store. If you want surplus uniforms, jackets, boots, etc. this is a great place to shop. If you have shopped at other surplus stores, or just know what things are worth you won’t be too shocked at their prices. The last three times I have been there they had a few new random items which is always fun. I’ve never had a problem with their staff, and have never regretted a purchase from this place!

One of the more organized army surplus stores I’ve been to. They have mostly clothing in stock, huge variety. There is a small camping/field equipment selection, prices were a bit high. My kid got a kick out of their patch selection, one of the bigger I’ve seen(at least displayed as such). Workers were peasant enough, but let us browse around unmolested. There was also a nice display case area with some rarer articles such as a WWII German helmet, US army general caps, and medals I’ve never seen before. Decent stuff, higher prices, limited mostly to clothes with some boots, and misc. stuff.

Although this place has a larger uniform selection than my local Army Surplus store(Military & Police Surplus) I almost never go out here unless I’m in a pinch. Their stuff is much more expensive and in many cases their stuff is knockoffs of the real thing.
