We just had the rudest server at this location give us the wrong price on our order and shoved us off the property. No customer service skills whatsoever. And then acted as if it was our fault and didn’t even apologize. We have never had a bad experience with any Culver’s restaurant until tonight. She had long curly dark hair and tattoos on her arm and an attitude I don’t care for. We will not be going back after tonight.

Omg, I just went in here tonight and everyone was SO friendly and nice. As soon as we walked in, the guy at the register was like«WELCOMETOCULVER’S!» And I was like«Oh, okay!!! I see you!» ;) And he was just so great. He really took the time to make sure he had our order correct because we kind of made it complicated for him, haha. He made sure we had everything we needed when he brought our food to our table. And he was pretty cute too! I don’t know his name but he was maybe about 5’8 or so, blondish with a trimmed beard and slightly jacked, and he had a small tattoo of a word on his arm. I was like«Oh damn! Who are you?» Hahaha and then when we left everyone was like«THANKYOU, HAVE A GOODNIGHT!» And I was like YOUTOOCULVERS, THANKSSOMUCHBYE.

I went to this place expecting to get a burger that would knock me over, I didn’t get that from here. The staff was friendly but the experience for me was lacking.

The employees are very enthusiastic and fun. The food is also very good. The place kept clean and nice, and the bathrooms are well kept. It’s a good place to chill and grab a bite to eat.

I went in to Culver’s yesterday for the first time which I cannot figure out why since I live so close. I thought it was okay. Since it was my first time I wanted to order everything but had to hold myself back. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings and cheese curds for myself and my husband. I will say that this is a step above McDonalds but a lot more money. I really liked my burger, onion rings. I hated the fries they were way to thick for me and under done for my taste. The cheese curds just not sure about them I think I would have to try them again since I cannot make up my mind. What really stood out to me and would make me go back was this very young girl with long brown hair that was just the so sweet as she took my order. I felt the service was outstanding for having such young people working. I will go back but hold the fries :)

I love Culvers and have been to stores all over the Chicago area and throughout Wisconsin. They are clean, the staff extremely friendly, and the food consistently good. Yesterday’s experience Culvers on Main & Roosevelt in Lombard was the worst ever. First, the women’s restroom. Walked in and the stench was terrible. There were three stalls. One stall was a mess with feces in, on and outside the toilet. I used the second stall as quickly as possible. While washing my hands an employee came out of the third stall. She was apparently unaware of the stink! I told her the restroom needed immediate attention and she said, as if to placate me, okay, she would clean it up. No apology, no acknowledgment that it should never have been left in that condition. She did then go to her co-workers to discuss it. I did not stay long enough to find out what they did. But how had she even entered the restroom at all without noticing the problem and taking action? Then, the custard. Flavor of the day was Salted Caramel Banana Nut. I ordered a scoop on a cake cone, to go. There was not one speck of caramel – none at all– and there was ONE, exactly ONE peanut in the entire cone. If I had been eating in I would have complained in person, but I was already driving when I realized that the person who made the cone had no idea what they were doing. Training and management are clearly lacking here. Don’t go.

I only come here for when I want some custard. I don’t like really any other ice cream from any other fast food place, like McDonalds or even Baskin Robbins. I love culvers custard! It’s so creamy and rich. The server in the window, I think his name was Jimmy was so friendly and nice! Great Customer Service!

We stopped here the other day for FREE pint, after donating a PINT of blood at Life Source blood bank in Villa Park. That makes 15+ gallons! They treated us like celebrities and took very good care of us, we will be back again soon. Thanks for the great stop at your place, you all were awesome.

Just had the Flavor of the Day… Orange Creamsicle. First taste was good. Then I got the«lumps.» I read the description, «cheesecake pieces and Bavarian cream swirls.» The billboard should have said«Creamsicle & Crap.»

We been to this Culver’s a few times. Majority of the time the food is fresh, taste great, and custard refreshing. The boy is not very adventurous when it comes to good. Burger, fries, and Dr. Pepper, but this occasion I convinced him to try the cheese curds. We’ve never had fried cheese curds before and I thought it was like cheddar sticks, but a little burnt from the outside so we didn’t finish it. Next time we’re there the cashier asked if we wanted cheese curds and we told him no, the last time we had it it wasn’t that great. He asked us why and we told that we thought it was fried too long. He apologized and offered to make us a few sample pieces because he really wanted us to like them as much as he did. We said okay. Was not expecting this type of service for such a young associate. We get our food, custard, and samples of curds and instructed us to let us know if we wanted to order some. We tried it and it tasted much better than the last time. When he checked up on us we told him next time for sure. He informed us he already made us a batch and please enjoy. This is a kid who was probably 16 – 17 years old. He really took the initiative to address the issue and made our experience even better. This type of service I would expect from management level. I’m very impressed with the amazing customer service. Keep up the great job. If only I got his name, but he left before we finished.

I bought a pint of brownie batter overload today. The brownie batter was not at all what you think of when you hear brownie batter. There were three brownie pieces in the entire pint and there was no carmel anywhere. Update: the manager called me and said 2 pints of brownie thunder would be waiting for me. I went there and there was nothing. I have requested a refund.

First experience, worst experience. I was running some late errands and figured I would get a shake for my hubby and a sundae for myself. I went through the drive– thru, no one was ahead of me or behind me. I ordered a small chocolate shake and a small turtle sundae no pecans for myself. I paid for it. Which one perk was they checked my id, per my debit card signature. He said it would be up in a minute. I sat there for a good 6mins, they handed me the shake. Another 10 mins went by and they handed me the sundae. It was extremely melted already. As if they had forgotten about it. It had been a long night and at that point I didn’t want to argue. I asked for a holder and placed my shake on the floor. Little did I know a slight turn and the shake tipped over. Now driving couldn’t do anything about it. Nor could I see the damage. Until I get home and park my car. The shake with its overly huge open top had spilled the runny shake all over the floormat. With the one napkin they gave me it was a disaster for my night. I had shake everywhere. Trying to remove the floor mat without getting or spreading the molding of shake was horrific. It had gotten all over me, on the seat, on the door. And the groceries on my seat. Thankfully, as I was trying to search for more napkins. A mom pulling in with her kids saw me kneeling on the floor and offered me some napkins. It took me 15 napkins and a trip to my condo. To come back and finish the clean up. Oh, by the way. I didn’t get to eat my soup sundae nor did he get any shake.

I once had a problem with a drive thru order from this Culvers. That was once, and the apology I received from the(female) manager was above and beyond what is often the case at an upscale restaurant when something has gone wrong. The North Atlantic Cod filet is one of the absolute best fish sandwiches anywhere and it’s worth every dime and every scrumptious bite. Same for the turtle sundae or turtle concrete mixers. What I also commend this Culvers for is employing 16 year olds. For many, this is their first job and first opportunity in the business world. It’s nice to see management working with these young kids to teach them valuable lessons about customer service, working with each other and working with the public. Not many teens get that golden opportunity.

My girlfriend went here earlier today and they wouldn’t type in her credit card number when her card wouldn’t swipe properly. What kind of a place turns down money because they don’t want to type in a number?

I’ve been here several times — primarily via the drive thru, but also inside. Employees are always friendly and jump right in to explain options and ingredients. Such was the case this past Friday when I couldn’t locate a menu item(Cod sandwich) I saw advertized. When I asked, I was brightly informed of the toppings on the sandwich. The friendly and helpful drive thru cashier turned out to be a former student of mine. Pleasant surprise! Several of my former students have/do work here, actually. They seem to receive good training. Everyone I’ve ever encountered is competent and friendly. :) They also support local school/community fundraising efforts. Definitely a fan of this Culvers!

I give as many five star reviews as I do one so believe me I am just as surprised to be giving a five star review to Culver’s as you are to read a five star review for Culver’s! Now, let me be clear, I only get concrete mixers from here as I don’t eat meat or fast food. The concrete mixers are consistent to concrete mixers from any other Culver’s. What makes this Culver’s worthy of five stars is the sheer pleasantness of every single person I have ever encountered at the drive thru window. Just stellar customer service. Super awesome! Friendly, happy, and nice. Love the employees here.

Stopped in for their Flavor of the Day… something like Pecan Double Salted Caramel… SO good. Never had so many deliciously salty pecans in an ice cream before. Utter perfection in this generous mix!

Culvers is quickly becoming my favorite burger chain because they’re always extremely nice and they send out awesome email coupons. This location is no different and had really friendly workers. As we were walking in, a few of the employees were coming back in from dropping off drive-thru orders and they made friendly conversation with us. We came at the peek of their lunch rush — 12:30 on a Friday. Since my work is very particular about punching in and out on time, I was close to walking out after seeing the line. It was no worry for them though and I was able to order, scarf down my food, and deal with the Roosevelt Road traffic in exactly an hour. I went with the Pepper Pub burger basket combo with fries and a root beer. We had a buy one, get one free basket coupon, so my husband got pretty much the exact same thing except with cheese curds($ 1.00 to upgrade.) Our total for two baskets with an upgrade was $ 10. Not too shabby. Last time I got the Pepper pub burger, it was waaaay too peppery – this coming from a person that would bathe in black pepper if I could. I asked for the sauce on the side so it didn’t ruin it and this was much better. They forgot our sauce though, so we had to go back up and ask when they informed us that they’d poured it in cups but forgot to throw it on the tray. The guy that waited on us was really nice, although he was new because we had to repeat ourselves a few times. The manager was really quick to jump in and help without being rude or talking down to him. My food was fab as always. I’m really digging this new burger and I’m sad it’s only limited edition. Their fries are some of my favorite and I’m really not a fry person. Overall, I’m really happy with the food and customer service at this location and I’ll add it into my lunch rotation as much as my cholesterol allows.

A Saturday night in November when it’s about 15 degrees out sounds like the perfect time for frozen custard, right? Just me, then? We were in the mood for something sweet and Culver’s hit the spot. This one regularly has two flavors of the day(in addition to vanilla and chocolate) and you can get one of each flavor in a two-scoop dish if you want. Score. The custard is rich, smooth, creamy and tasty. And the workers are generally very friendly and courteous. And when it comes to fast food, I actually consider Culver’s a step above; they have some very tasty options that are pretty fresh and healthy. It’s hard to resist the lure of the cheese curds, though… and the custard.

My hubby and friend say I’m a bit overboard with Unilocaling, but I found a restaurant for us to dine at that was reasonable, clean and has service with a smile with the help of the Unilocal app to see what was nearby — very handy. As for Culvers — this was my first visit to this one, and actually the first time that I had dined-in. I usually just go to the Culvers drive-through, out by Uncle in Matteson near Olympia Fields. It was just before supper time, but the place had a manageable crowd. The servers/cashiers were friendly, and didn’t mind that I asked questions and had special request and that I ended up changing the order,(I think I was keeping the cashier entertained — there wasn’t anybody else in line and really I didn’t take too much time). I got the strawberry fields salad without pecans, which were subtracted from the bill. The drink area had a couple of drops of soda here and there, thus the reason for four stars otherwise if I could I’d give them 4 and ¾ star, but otherwise everything was tidy. The floor was clean as were the table and window ledge, so I was a happy camper. The cashier brought our food over and so we dined and had agreeable conversation. Hubby had the chili, which he enjoy and my friend had the same salad as I, but with pecans. I didn’t notice that there was blue cheese chucks throughout the salad — I’m sure they would have left this off if I had requested it, but hubby ate them for me as I am not a fan. There was also quiet music playing in the background from an oldies station and the flat screen had slides of their ice cream — that’s why I wanted it so badly,(but I can’t have it now). I’m not to fond of being pushed into buying something I wasn’t even thinking about… Please don’t play with my mind — I have too little to play with. :-) Great service, and smiles all around — even when we were leaving the cashier wished us a happy day. Nice touch.
