H&M

Once upon a time, Rosa J. was a high school teenager constantly hanging out at the mall with her boyfriend. I wondered why I liked shopping malls so much that I’m now managing a retail store at an outlet. By the way, H&M was not even available at my small-​town, everyone-​knew-​each-​other, rural South Carolina mall twelve (12) years ago.
Nowadays, I absolutely hate the mall. Yes, I know «hate» is a strong word, but lingering at a mall doesn’t help me relax anymore. Hubby was servicing their POS system at their Yorktown Center location, so I tagged along.
I knew this is one of the newer H&M in Chicagoland. I could tell because the condition of the store was slightly more pristine in comparison to other locations in the city or in the suburbs. Although shopping at a mall is less pleasurable for me, I had to admit that H&M does have fashionable and cute stuff!
A few Nordic-​patterned sweaters and wraps were on sale, it was a bit tempting yet I had a decent self-​control with buying clothes, jewelry, and accessories. Yes, it came a long way for me since the «rehab» I gave to myself a year ago as I was cleaning up and reorganizing my closet.
I actually have found a few items that be considered «unisex» at their men’s department. I usually spend a good amount of time browsing through men’s as well.
I don’t mind if someone can treat me a $ 500 shopping spree at H&M…

What’s not to love? Yorktown mall has been missing something… There was only a handful of decent shops. H&M def takes this mall to another level for women’s, men’s, and children’s fashion apparel.

The store finally opened up in yorktown mall. Much needed as I don’t really enjoy the drive to oak brook no matter how close it may or may not be.
The store itself was very clean and up kept. There are plenty of cashiers to help out and they’re friendly and courteous. They have some Really really good deals and some prices you can’t beat like the mens v necks that are 6 – 12 $ each. Not bad at all.
Personally I wouldn’t buy more then the bare essentials and maybe some casual shirts here I picked up a pack of undies (this is where the 1 star lacks) on the 3 $ rack… Didn’t realize till I got home they were 17 $ for 3 underwear ha. Went straight back. Wasn’t offered an apology but my error. Will be back.
