Paradiso

An absolutely beautiful addition to Lombard! One thing Lombard and many suburbs can attest to so embarrassingly, is the lack of sharp, tempting boutiques with the absence of anything to give as a gift, accessorize oneself or splurge on a reasonably priced new outfit. That is, until Paradiso came to town. I could find a good use for their entire inventory with a good place or a unique use for everything, yet not break the bank. As a very happy Chicago resident, I’m not really a happy city shopper. While there’s that plethora of tempting, spectacularly fashionable shops where the prices potentially reach the fluffy white clouds on a clear day, they’re not as realistically priced as suburban shops such as Paradiso, which is as fantastic as any Northside haunt!
For accessories — the candles sold here are Aspen Bay, which are one of the very few brands that will guarantee to give a natural, smooth, wonderful scent without the associated headache or worse, migraine. These candles burn for hours upon hours and are both a fabulous gift for a friend and oneself. No more «dessert scents» and chemicals.:) The owner/​buyer knows her fashion and knows jewelry, since costume means reasonable price and won’t tarnish or turn an ugly green. Lots of beautiful scarves, chunky soft knitted hats, bracelets from Nepal, throw pillows that pop when thrown in an otherwise lackluster room.
Lovely clothes — sweaters, cardigans, ponchos, capes, shirts, dresses for every age, style and body type. Perfect for my fashionable but preferably classic styled mom and cool enough for my 20-​something self! The most expensive brand is probably Free People, of which this buyer chose that designers more reasonable pieces.
It’s apparent that a lot of forethought, raw talent and love went into the vision of this boutique and I love the outcome! It’s worth a trip to Lombard if just to check out what Paradiso is selling!

The clothes super chic and cute they are actually affordable! Love having a boutique in town not to mention one that provides good quality at a good cost! This is the new place to shop in downtown Lombard. Been here almost on a weekly basis and seem to leave with something new and great every time! Love that the owner Angela carries a unique and good variety of clothing and jewelry! Never disappointed after visiting, highly recommend!
