Kiddie Klub Lane

I brought the kids here with my friend and her two kids for a mom/​baby play session. =] From the outside, this place definitely could use some sprucing… it just didn’t do it for me, not very inviting. And then you walk in and it definitely does look better than the outside, but I still was not all that impressed.
I walked in with a couple of bags of snacks from a nearby bakery and the owner questioned me as to what I had in the bag and how much there was! I mean… really dude… it says online to feel free to bring in your own food since there is nothing for purchase on site. So how about you don’t question me and especially not with your «divo/​diva» attitude! Thanks! He then continued on with a story of how some women had a pizza delivered there and how he thought it was redic… but, again, if that is what they were going to eat for lunch there, there should be no problem! I understand if he is worried about people showing up to have a «party» without paying the party price, but he needs to figure out a way to regulate that himself and not question ME on what I brought for my friend and I to snack on! *z snap*
I have to give this place 3 stars, though, because our kids did seem to have a lot of fun running around and playing with everything. Despite the owner’s attitude if God forbid a kid tried to climb through the netting on the side of the ramp (which was not stapled down or anything) instead of walking down. Yikes! And there was another instance where I saw a little boy rip off some of the corner protection foam off the wall leaving exposed staples. And when I told the owner, while he walked around in his dingy shirt and socks, he said to me, «this might sound CRAZY but I like to fix those things AFTER everyone has left for the day!» Yeah… out came the diva again. Girlfriend needed a little attitude adjustment in my opinion, especially when he asked me who the screamer was while my kids were running around, screaming and laughing and just having a good time. He proceeded to tell me that his friend brings in his daughter and she just SCREAMS the entire time she is there. Really dude.

We’ve taken our daughter here several times, and she’s always enjoys playing in the little toddler sized town, especially the diner, as she loves to pretend to cook. Kiddie Klub Lane is the perfect size for an afternoon of toddler play. There is enough to keep the kids entertained, but it’s small enough where you don’t have to hover or chase your little one all over the place, like some of the larger kids museums. There are some seating areas for parents to sit back, relax and watch the kids while they do their thing.
The thing that really sold Kiddie Klub Lane to our family was when we recently rented out the place for our daughter’s 2^nd birthday party. The owner, Michael, was incredibly helpful in coordinating the party, and our friends and family had a wonderful time at the party. The prices for party rentals are very reasonable, and the service and attention that you get make it an even better value.

This place is very cute. There are several themed crooked houses for kids to play in as well as several toys. As Kimmie V. stated, it would be really nice if it was carpeted, since the floors were a little slippery. Also, when the design of the bridge and wooden staircase was not very well thought out. It is pretty dangerous, even for older toddlers. It annoyed me that there were garbage cans with lids that flipped around everywhere that my toddlers loved to push on. Is that really necessary? Why not just have one garbage can that is child proofed? And unfortunately, the owner just rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t think we’ll be back to this play place. It is expensive and there are others that we liked better!

I would just love for this indoor play place to get CARPET… my kids really like it here but it is SOOO slippery. My kids fell a few times and another little boy ended up with a huge bruise.
We will be back when it is carpeted.

Indoor play area with different houses for themed play like a store, puppet area, gas station. It was pretty crowded when we were there so most of the items for the theme of a house had been moved out of the house or were being carried around with other kids so you had to happen upon an item and then use it to play. The owner was working on putting things back where they belonged if no one was playing with them but with a bunch of active kids that was nearly impossible, many of the houses were empty so my daughter and her cousin were just roaming around picking up a toy here or there but didn’t really get into playing in any of the houses. Cute set up and would be fun when not as crowded. Can see that a private birthday party would be super fun for the kids since it wouldn’t be crowded then. We’ll give it a try on a day when everyone isn’t trying to find an indoor activity due to weather and hopefully my daughter will like it more when it is a little less crowded. For the summer remember to bring socks if you are wearing sandals as shoes have to be removed by both adults and kids so socks are a necessity.

This is basically an indoor playplace for kids that is located in a strip mall. Looked a bit shady to me at first, but the owner was very friendly and great with kids (he and his wife have 3 of their own.)
Kiddie Klub Lane is constructed as a little town for little people complete with a general store, diner, firehouse, gas station, and more. There are about 6 or so Crooked Houses, as featured in Jon & Kate Plus 8, (
). With the owner’s construction background he has added his own personal touches to these whimsical little play houses.
My four year old niece and 18 month old nephew played and played until they tired out a couple hours later. My niece played dress up with tutus, a mailman uniform, and a racecar driver suit while my nephew wheeled around in a car or fire engine. They recommend that you bring socks for the kids so that the kids don’t track in dirt and germs.
Moms aren’t forgotten here either. There are magazines a plenty and my sister and I were offered bottled water as well.
They do have a Party Room for events. $ 200 for 10 kids not including food. A la carte parties start at $ 175.
