I have used T-Mobile in the past and was quite happy with the service. This time, I wanted to help a friend get a sim card for his unlocked phone and a short term no contract plan. When we went in, John was busy with 1 customer and helped another customer with paying for their prepaid minutes. However, he just kept on addressing the customer’s future refund and installing angry birds and his espn app rather than trying to get to the next customers. After about 15 minutes, he finally acknowledged us and asked about our issues — me and then another woman who had a broken phone needing repair. Although John was the only employee there, he really wasn’t concerned with addressing the other customers nor about expediting the service of the customer he was attending. We waited in the store for over half an hour before we decided to leave. We’ll go somewhere else for the phone plan and I’ll let my friends know to stay away. You can get far better and quicker customer service for equivalent service plans elsewhere.

I love T-Mobile and have been with them for over seven years now. I only visit this T-Mobile if I am going to buy anything or do any upgrades. The staff here is very nice and actually knows how to work most of the phones they offer. My mom was having a issue with her phone and the sales guy there was able to fix it and was able to tell her why it happen(my mom doesn’t know how to really work her phone yet :)!) While I was there I figured it was time for a new phone so he assisted me upgrading my phone and was able to get ALL of my numbers into the new phone so I didn’t have to type all of them over. Great Customer Service!!!

Let me tell you. i HATE t-mobile. I have always seemed to have problems with them, and especially their customer care line. I have gone into this store a few times to pay a bill, and started relying on them to help me with any of my problems. Sure– the most they can do is also call the customer service line but at least they know loop holes and ways around things. There is one specific guy there who is always very helpful, and seems to almost hate the customer care line as much as I do! He has more than once gone out of his way to help me, and also OK’d things he was not supposed to just because he knew customer care was in the wrong. They make life a lot easier when dealing with a sucky phone service. Kudos to actually caring about the customers you have!
