Normally, I would never think to review a Walgreens, but after a recent experience there, I feel that it needs to be shared:
I ordered holiday cards from the Walgreens on Roosevelt Rd (225 Roosevelt Rd, Lombard) and they turned out great. After realizing that I needed more, I placed a «reorder». For some reason, they were sent to the other Walgreens in Lombard (309 W. St. Charles Rd) by accident.
BE WARNED: whatever it is (the printer, the paper, both), the quality of pictures is WAY worse at the St. Charles Rd location! Pictures and cards come out on thinner paper, and they are much darker compared to the 225 Roosevelt location.
The manager was nice enough and let me return them, and I placed another order at the 225 Roosevelt location and they turned out great.
Overall — the people who work there are nice enough, it’s a clean store, when I want a photo order, I won’t be using this location.
Random rant: their computer system is goofy — I have tried multiple times at the same store and at others to change my name and every time I go back to the store, it doesn’t «stick» and I have to ask them to change it again. Not an issue in Pharmacy (different system), but photo orders always go under my maiden name. Not the end of the world, just annoying.

Some guy asked me if I could unlock the toothbrushes for him. I guess wearing a polo and khakis means you work here?
It’s a Walgreens. There was nothing bad, but nothing that great either. I do prefer here over any CVS, though!

I cannot believe how bad the customer service is in the Pharmacy. I had a serious issue with my prescription being lost by the mail service and they were rude. In addition, they attempted to help me and made it far worse by changing the prescription to the store. I finally gave up and called the doctor for a whole new prescription and now drive to Costco. They must have gotten so big they don’t feel they need to care about customers. Should have listened to my husband who stop going there months ago! Their pricing is high as well so they should give excellent service.
