Im leary. Designer brands but are they really and not knock off’s? The biggest knock off’s are carried in small unknown stores like this. Im not convinced snd would much rather purchase the real items at a regular dept. Store where if you buy Tom Ford you are guaranteed the items to be Tom Ford or your money back.

1st, not just women’s clothing store. Actually they have men’s and children clothing also. Lots of original goodies and brands here. I like the vintage rustic style they have for décor. Nice gentleman assisted my wife and I. Unfortunately he couldn’t find a shoe my son’s size this time around but he tried. I need to come back and buy my pair of Toms.

It’s definitely a cute and nice boutique. Some of the men’s stuff they carry includes Alternative Apparel, Tom’s, Ralph Lauren Polo, etc; stuff you can find at Macy’s pretty much. I suppose the women’s side(~85%) is the main attraction. Lots of cool threads, handbags, and accessories. The beauty section was unique. They carry an Australian beauty line by the name of Jurlique. Even for a dude, I was quite impressed by the hand cream. I tried both the lavender and the rose scents — both amazing and felt great on my hands. The only downside(s) to this place, as everyone has noted, are the high prices. You can find most of these labels anywhere else for much cheaper. I don’t know if I would go back exclusively for this place, but I will keep it in mind for gift-giving in the future.

I love this store. Good quality, tasteful picks and great sales. I have found very cute shoes, tops and skirts. They also have great lotions. It’s so nice that it is local!

I really like this boutique. It’s like an indie Anthropologie(feminine girly stuff) + Becker(surf/beach apparel vibe). The fitting room was adorable. The entire store is just super cute and there are a lot of neat finds of clothing, accessories, beauty products, etc. They carry both women and menswear. Some of the shoe brands they carry includes: Melissas Crocs Toms Sam Edelman Converse Minnetonka The down side to this place is that the prices are high. Even on sale the prices remain pretty expensive. Also sizes of various items are very limited. Also the location is weird. Definitely an odd place for a clothing boutique to be located. They’ve been opened for about 7 months now. Not sure how long they will be able to stick around since the few times I’ve been here, customers have been almost non-existent. If they move their shop to near the beach or the mall, I’d imagine they’ll fare much better.

So I found this store while flicking through a JPy magazine. It looked interesting enough that I wanted to make the trip from Cerritos to Torrance just to check it out. Yupp whole 25 miles of it. Here’s the story of that trip. I woke up on a Saturday morning to leave for Torrance. Admittedly, halfway to Torrance I had my doubts. It is a really far place and even if I have lived in Torrance its really out of my way. But I figured I’m halfway there already and I needed to satisfy my curiosity! I get there and its located in a small plaza with other business establishments. I found it quite odd for a clothing store so chic to be in the middle of restaurants and other stores. But that’s just me. I went inside the store and I was the only person inside. There was one girl who didn’t even bother to say hi to me or offer to help which was very disappointing. How hard could it be to ask the only person in the store right? Service aside, it was a stunningly beautiful store. I really loved the rustic, vintage layout of the store. I even loved the small dressing room in the corner surrounded with the brick walls. So ingenious! It made me feel at ease browsing around the shop. They did carry some good high end brands not jut for womens but more mens too. I saw Current Elliott jeans, Tom Ford sunglasses, Jurlique Skin care, Tocca Perfume, Toms, just to name a few. Everything was well made including the accessories. Even their own line of La Chou Chou clothing was very well made and they’re not that expensive to boot! The only downside is, there’s really not a ton of selection. And what they have in the front in terms of sizes are what they only have left. It was really too bad because I was determined(desperate maybe?) to get something from this store. But all my sizes were gone. And I don’t know if all the sizes were gone but I noticed they seem to carry jeans in the smaller sizes. In the end though, I left the store empty handed. I was very disappointed and frankly sad. I expected more but the store fell short. Would I come back to make the trip again? Probably not. But if I’m in the area I’ll definitely drop by. I saw some cute accessories that I want to go check out again. And who knows they might have more clothes in stock. Plus, as I was leaving the plaza, I saw some Japanese restaurants with Okononami Yaki and a pastry shop right next to it. So yay for me. I guess that means my trip hasn’t ended yet! :]
