Aaaaaaaah! My monthly treat to myself is going to the Nail Factory and having Yuki do my nails. I get compliments ALL the time, she so fabulous! I always love my nails, and am sad when it’s time for a new set, but then I fall in love with my new nails and the cycle repeats. They only take appointments, so don’t even try to walk in. Yes, it’s a little pricey but your nails look fabulous and last for a good three weeks, at least.

Ive been getting my nails done at nail factory since 2014 and my nailist is amazing ! Every time I show her the image of how I want my nails to be done, she actually makes it 10x Better! Just LOVE, LOVE her work! I always make an appointment 2 months ahead due to their busy schedule, and I recommend for you to do so. I always walk out happy and very satisfied !

I’ve been a loyal fan for years making the 45-mile commute(strike #1-distance) at least once a month. My appointments are booked for the next several months. I have been very disappointed lately with the stress involved with trying to change a nail appointment. They are understaffed and it’s nearly impossible get an appointment within a week(strike #2– can’t get an appointment). Nail Factory has always been expensive, but it was a price I was willing to pay for long-lasting, quality nails. Recently the prices have skyrocketed 25%(strike #3-huge price jump overnight. I don’t care if it has been years since the price increased. 25% is a lot for a luxury product). With 3 huge strikes against them, I’m started to seek other options for my nails.

One of the women who did my nails told me that tipping was required after paying for the price for the nails. I cannot tip for the nails every time because it was overpriced for simple design nails especially. I cannot afford to pay more. She was VERY rude and greedy. The reason why I gave it 2 stars is because the nail designs that she did looked o. k…other than that I wasn’t really satisfied with my experience this time.

Apparently they don’t do walk-ins I found that out the hard way when I happened to take a walk over there for a pedi since I live down the street. Mind you I’m new to the area and it was a Friday afternoon not thinking much about them being booked since they seem to be in a hidden lot behind El Torito. The receptionist was quite rude and didn’t offer any other days or times available so I just walked back home a little disappointed in myself for not checking first(lol I guess not every salon is like«happy nails»), and irritated with her not so accommodating service. I was disparate and I made an appointment and walked back a few days later I was greeted by a different woman who seemed much happier and she happened to do my pedi as well which came out nice. $ 25 plus tip so basically $ 35 later I’m not so sure I’ll return anytime soon being that it’s a little steep for just a basic pedi and no extras added.

This was my second time to Nail Factory. The first time I was completely satisfied but the second time I was so dissatisfied that I won’t go back. I made an appointment for a polish change and nail art since I had a big party over the weekend and wanted my nails to be a conversation piece. I show up for the appointment with pictures of tribal nail art. Nothing too intricate mind you, just straight lines. They tell me that they don’t have enough time to do the design on all 10 fingers and that with gel it would go faster. First off, I don’t wear gel and doubt that a full set of gels would be faster. Secondly, when I made my appointment I said I wanted a polish change and nail art on all my nails. After much chatting back and forth(not in English) they decide they will both work on me and try and do the tribal art. After seeing her work on one nail, it looked nothing like the picture and seemed like they were just trying to rush to get me out of there. So I asked her just to put on a coat of polish and call it done. She could have offered to put some crystals on or something to make my nails look unique but they didn’t. That wouldn’t have taken much time at all. They were just interested in getting me out of there. So I left very unhappy. There are so many good reviews on here but that is not the experience I had today. And it seems from some of the other reviews that others felt rushed too. I do not feel like they cared about making me happy. I will continue my search for a good nail art place in the South Bay. P. S. I should add I was the first appointment of the day and nobody else was in the salon.

Ive been coming here maybe 4 years. I love this place. You cannot get better quality gel anywhere. When money is tight and I go somewhere else for a quick fix I quickly regret it. I no longer live in the area but I will drive 30 miles. Poor girls know my whole life story and are patient with my hyperactive toddlers breaking vases. Ahhh!!! My nails always last 3 weeks without any chipping. This place is worth the money and the wait. You wont regret it.
