I have taken my 8 and 5 year old three times in the past two weeks and had a great experience. Today however I was told my 8 year old was too tall. I feel it’s a bad business model to then change the rules. My son was very upset and I as a parent had to figure out how to make him feel better. You will take my business when it’s convenient for you. Bad Business!

Not clean enough for under 1. My son, who is 8 months, was playing with the toy trucks and smaller toys. I had to wipe down each one because they looked like they weren’t wiped down in ages.

I took my two nephews here and it was fantastic. The first child is $ 10 and he second child is $ 8 for however long you want to stay and they open till pretty late. Adults are free if you purchase something/anything from the café. The café food is good. It’s kid friendly and adult friendly. There is free GOOD wifi… This place is heaven for parents

Fun, safe, clean, indoor play area for kids + quality food with decent variety for kids and adults = Happy Mom and Kids! This place is great! They really have found a nice balance to make it kid focused but comfortable for adults.

The food here sucks lol. But my son has a blast. That’s why I give it three stars. I paid 10.99 $ for a pizza that’s not all that great. Caesars is better quality and cheaper what the heck hahaha

This place is really dirty. All the toys are dirty, broken or missing parts. The ball pis is simply gross! Service is horrible. Will never come back!

Dear Twinkle Twinkle Owner, I am not sure what to start with but I really hope that you do your due diligence, as a good business owner, and you check at least once in a while the reviews for your business venture on the websites… First of all, your main clients are KIDS! Hygiene is a main concern for every parent. We have been at Twinkle Twinkle four times so far(including bringing friends with us– new clients for you) but your toys, tables, chairs, booths, etc. are all covered in layers of sticky OLD dirt(completely covered– not just few spots here and there). Have seen few parents(including myself) trying to clean the tables with baby wipes but the layers are so sticky and old that it is really difficult to clean– however, using Lysol or Windex wipes at least once a day(or even once weekly), maybe at the end of your business day/week, will help significantly. Toys need some serious update as well– at least place some batteries in few of them– after all your main clients need some brain stimulation as growing up little people– you can buy cheap batteries at Costco– Torrance(closest location to your building). I also believe you are in a serious need of more employees– same people cook, serve, answer the phone, run around to clean toilets, etc. At the same time, when you have only three– four tables, menus are not even given to us in 30 – 40 min within arrival; so employees have to be chased around for menus, glass of water, order, and everything else called«service.» Restrooms need some serious«clean touch» too including the few pairs of flipflops that are used by everyone who goes in the restrooms(including kids) — I am sure you can imagine where exactly these flipflops go, and I don’t mind providing few pairs of our socks to prove how dirty the floors of your«Kids Café» are(considering the fact no shoes are allowed inside the facility). The only reason to give you«one star» is because food tastes ok– we love your french fries; However, it would be really nice if you serve your $ 5 hot tea with hot water; Same would apply for your hot coffees. And last but not least, I really hope what it is behind the walls of the kitchen does not need as much cleaning as what it is in front of our bare eyes in the middle of the playground. We have visited your playground few times because we thought it was just an occasional disappointment but after talking to many other parents, it turns out you make money(not a serious business) by exposing our children to a very questionable environment. We have KIDS not animals! I personally feel that you look at our kids in terms of easy dollars. Therefore, if you really care about your business(and you have a great potential because of the location, the size of the facility, and some of the basics you already have in place), please upgrade/remodel your place. We would be happy to return in a new clean warm and more welcoming«Twinkle Twinkle Kids Café” — a place that we can turn into a regular favorite spot for both kids and parents!

We like twinkle twinkle café a lot. We live very close to it & it’s just very convenient to go to it in oppose to going to an outdoor park specially in this heat. This place is very clean, it’s got many toy options for kids. I have a 1.5 yr old almost 3 yr old. They both get very entertained when we go there. They have a little kitchen area with pretend food & veggies for the kids to play with. On the right side, they got an area for babies & crawler with more simple toys. But also on the same side, there is a tree-looking structure with hanging balls from it that’s very dangerous for younger kids. My son has been hit by it in multiple occasions. There is also a 2-story structure that’s fairly simple looking. But you have to go on top it in order to access the ball pit & it’s kind of a pain for younger kids. Every time we go there, I have to drag up there to take my kids down to the ball pit since they are too small & can’t go on their own. I think they should open an access from the bottom area for younger toddlers. The food is fairly decent, we are vegetarian & they do have many options for us. It’s just a little pricy. Specially that every time you go you are required to buy food from the menu for them to waive the admission fee. That’s why I have to deduct a star from my review, but overall we like this place a lot & have been going there a lot.

Here’s the thing: playground is nice(I was there twice, once for a bday party, once on a groupon), but some things could do with better upkeeping. I don’t think the kids care. They have a blast. My 2 year old was thrilled. Staff is nice. HOWEVER… I wish this place was more upfront about the cost of things. How about: «you have to spend a minimum „X“ amount per person. If you order that much in food, then you just pay for food.» This place wants to primarily function as a restaurant, but has rather complicated rules about admission and Groupon. Even with a groupon, it just wasn’t worth my money.(specially since you can’t bring in food. so really, this is not a playground with the convenience of a café. It’s a restaurant with the convenience of a playground that we charge admission for). And the food: eh, ok. overpriced. I’m sure it’s not freshly made… I went once and couldn’t justify going back. side note: you know those horizon to go milk things… they cost more than $ 3 here!!! They don’t charge that much at Barnes and Noble/Starbucks. In short, if you have money to spare and don’t care about how much things cost, your kids will enjoy this place.

WATCHOUTWHENBUYING A GROUPON! In My opinion, these guys are scam artists. Bought a Groupon for 1 month use. When we cashed it in they tell us that each adult that enters must pay $ 10 or buy something from their menu. Although I would not send my kid in alone I had asked if the child could go in to their playground without a parent in order to avoid the $ 10 charge. Of course the answer was«NO». In other words they sneakily created a loop-hole whereby they get an additional $ 10 each time you take your kid to this place. I think that shows really bad business practices. There is NOSAVINGS with this Groupon and we will never come back to this place again. BEWARE!

Had a birthday party for our son here and rented the room for a couple of hours and went well during the day with the activities and facility wasn’t that bust from the time I chose to have the party. I don’t recommend the pepperoni pizza. Combo pizza, margherita pizza, and Parmesan chicken wings were great :) Here’s the down side – the only thing I would let other parents know before choosing this facility for their child’s birthday party is to make sure when twinkle asks you for the amount of kids and adults a couple days before the party is to be sure to give the lowest amount of adults(if paying per head). The reason why I say this is that I stated a certain amount a couple days before but some adults weren’t able to come and there were less adults than what I stated, I ended up paying over $ 150 for those adults that did not show up. The girl who helped us(she was probably new) did not allow us to actually pay for how many adults that actually came, she stated that it was based on the amount of people I had RSVP. Now, had it was stated or told to us I would’ve told them to just charge the minimum amount of adults that should attend and I could’ve ordered more food if lots more than expected showed up. Overall, I’m glad the kids were happy.

This place saved me From a very rough day with the kids. The problem? a late nap(from 3pm-5pm). I needed a place for them to burn energy but didn’t want to deal with the park that late. So went here after hearing about some friends that love it. Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. This place was great. This air-conditioned indoor play area AND restaurant fit the bill for both kids and dad. They were able to burn off TONS of energy and no cooking for me. SCORE!!! Will most likely Make this part of the routine.

I don’t care how pricey it is or how slow the service is… drinking an iced cappuccino in my socks sitting in a comfy chair while my son happily plays is absolute bliss! Second time here and really impressed with the quality of the espresso drinks and the selection of delicious foods. Owner is Korean so I highly recommend skipping the pizza and going for the Asian fusion items. My friend had the udon and Cali roll and said it was as good as any restaurant’s. The omurice and bulgogi were top notch as well. Seriously amazing grub for a kids play place! Will be back for sure. Would be back weekly if it were closer!

This is the second time I’ve visited TTKC with my kids. I like to take them to indoor playgrounds b/c it is more manageable to watch both of them when I am on my own. My son is 1(this weekend!) and my daughter is almost 3 but my son is still crawling and my daughter wants to run around and play everywhere so an enclosed playground is helpful — especially in the afternoons. Today I met up with one of my best friends and her two kids. I am a member of the North Redondo Beach MOMS club and we are supposed to get a discount at TTKC. However when I mentioned the discount, the lady at the front stated that they only had the PVMOMS club listed there. I showed her the North Redondo Beach MOMS club latest bulletin which specifically lists TTKC as a place where moms can get a discount. The front desk lady was very nice and gave me the discount and advised me to tell our club about being added to their list and I sent the club an email. The place itself is very nicely set up with a large play area on one end and then tables and seats on the other side for eating or just taking a break. They have a café that sells pretty decent food and even some organic options. The play area has a lower and upper part. The lower part has some toys like walkers and play tables and a kitchen for kids and also a neat palm tree feature that has three swings that go around when the kids sit or push on it. it’s a little dangerous for the younger toddlers and my daughter got hit in the stomach today. The upper structure has some area for the kids to climb around and a twisty slide. From the upper part you can also access the ball pit — this part is kind of annoying because you have to go down a stepping area to get to the ball pit when they could have simply made the access from the lower area. Also the ball pit is surrounded by a train ride which I have never seen be open yet and which states that you have to pay per ticket. My daughter always sees the trains and wants to ride them and gets upset that she can’t. One thing to be aware of is that although the adults don’t have to pay an entrance fee(and kids under 1 are free with an older sibling), the adults do have to buy something from the café otherwise you are charged for the entrance fee when you leave. Today my friend and I shared some french fries for the kids when they got hungry and when we left the lady at the front wanted to charge me $ 8 b/c I did not specifically buy anything. It was kind of annoying and I went back to the café to purchase a bottle of water that cost $ 2!!! Kind of a rip. Most indoor playgrounds do not charge for the adults and do not make you buy food so I have to deduct 1 star for that as I think it is kind of cheap. All in all I like this place a lot and it is clean and my kids have fun. I would definitely visit again — and remember to buy something cheap or for the kids from the café.

Purchased a Groupon for a 1 Month Pass for $ 25 and brought my niece in on the same day. Adults can pay the $ 8 entrance fee or purchase an item on the menu to avoid the few. So I bought a Raspberry Lemonade($ 4.31). Food prices were a bit expensive in my opinion. I could easily see how bringing more than one child here would easily add up. The room was filled with toddlers, but didn’t feel overly crowed. It was clean, other than the bathroom, which looked like it just needed a quick wiped own. I did however like the idea that they leave flip flops outside of the restroom doors for adults to put on to avoid the bottom of our socks getting wet from the bathroom floor. And being that I forgot my socks I had to purchase a new pair from them for $ 1. The play equipment was plentiful and appeared to be in good shape. My only complaint was the ball area; which comes up very short on the amount of balls inside. Kids can be rough, so be sure to keep an eye on your child. One little boy tried to push my niece off of one of swings and I quickly had to let him know that wasn’t «bout» to happen! Lol All in all this place is a good alternative to going to the park.

This place is really good for little kids. It’s so much better than Chuck E. Cheese. The space is clean and they even require everyone to take off their shoes and only wear socks. Dress code is casual and if you plan to play with your kids wear something comfortable. This is great for parties or even just to take your kids for a few hours. I only have nephews and younger cousins, but if I am ever a mom, I will definitely take my kids to this place. It’s so much cleaner and safer than the park. On the other hand, service was a little slow. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to come back to out table to check on us. There is a full menu of choices ranging from pizza to chicken nugget and onion rings. ***Don’t forget: BRINGSOCKS!!! Or else buy them for $ 1

My 3-year old would give this place 5 stars. He calls it the«bestest indoor playground» and enjoys it immensely. I give it 3 stars because of the menu prices and the toys/facilities are a little worse for wear. The ball pit is a little thin on balls. If you ask for trains for the Brio track, they will ask you for a $ 5 deposit.

Really nice place. My son loved it. Thought the play area would be a bit bigger but it was okay he still had fun. The food was on point too. Came here on a Sunday and it wasn’t crowded at all. Only issue I didn’t like was that they game me a watered down raspberry lemonade I sent it back and it took them literally 10 mins to bring me another one. :(other then that all was great. I’ll still give this place 5 stars.

One of the better kid cafes. For my daughters bday this year we decided to be super cheap and just invite close friends and family to celebrate. In order to get into the place itself, you mUst have socks! They do sell them for $ 1 but not sure if they’re kids sized only because my friend’s socks only covered half her foot lol… The food was surprisingly pretty good, hence the stars I gave. I ordered cheese dokbukki which was a tad soggy but still tasty with a spicy kick. Most of the party got their korean bulgogi which comes with rice and salad and it didn’t fail my picky tastebud test. The play area was large with amply space for kids to play and run around. My daughter’s favorite was the«swinging coconut tree» where kids sit on the balls and swing in circles and the train. The only con(the reason why I deducted one) was that there are set operating times for the train’s operation and didn’t make sense since kids love the ride and have to line up for it already… When it came time to the cake, they brought out free plates and utensils which was very nice of them. Overall, this place is great for bdays and when you want to tire your toddler out…
