I purchased a sectional couch on October 19th2015. I was told it would be delivered in 3 to 4 weeks. It was delivered 7 weeks later, on December 8th. On December 8th I received a phone call from an employee stating the manufacturer made a mistake on the order, and that they could deliver the incorrect piece of furniture to my house. I said yes because I had been waiting a long time for my couch and was very inconvenienced by not having one. The delivery people show up and are not apologetic at all. One of the men even complained to me about how bad his day was even though I was the customer who was being delivered the incorrect couch that was already 3 weeks late. They told me the new couch would be expedited and would be here in only a couple of weeks. I waited patiently and never heard anything. I called after 4 weeks to ask about my order and was told they had no update and that they would call me when it came in. The following week I left 2 messages for the owner to call me back hoping I would speak to someone who could give me answers. He never returned my phone calls. After I had gone 5 weeks with no answers my father went down to the store to find out about my couch. The owner was still not apologetic and would not give a definite date that I would get my couch. He did admit that it was actually his employee’s fault that my couch was ordered incorrectly and that they had made a mistake on the order form. My couch was finally delivered January 23rd; it had been 13 weeks since I had ordered it. Customer service like this is unacceptable, especially in a small town. I paid in full when I bought the couch, and I also paid in full when I had bought a mattress from the same business a year earlier. I will never go back in this store; I would rather drive out of town than ever buy anything from them.

I bought four pieces of quality bedroom furniture(after shopping for eight years in three locations — there is a lot of junk out there!) Since I bought this set a piece of a time, I had four different experiences with purchase and(free) delivery and am now acquainted with most of the Lompoc staff. This is a great outfit and I want to give them the highest possible review. There is absolutely no sales pressure or funny business or anything like that. Two of my pieces were delivered the day of purchase and two within 24 hours of purchase. The delivery guys are awesome! They are friendly, helpful and courteous. They did not leave any mess(not a single loose screw or bag) and they were super careful around my pets(two cats that are NEVER allowed outside). They delivered on-time, as promised, were super careful with my pieces, assembled everything quickly and efficiently and hauled away the old furniture. Absolutely first rate service and quality goods. Bravo Better Beds!

I came into the store with my mother and Bill assisted me in purchasing a 5 piece bedroom set. He also helped her buy a dresser(which he informed her was on sale, after she had already decided to purchase it). Delivery and set up included! They delivered it on time and Bill even called beforehand to verify the order. The delivery gentlemen were very careful not to bump into or ding any of the walls(we had just painted). And that included lifting large dresser(s), and a bed frame up over a very tiny, awkward staircase. Everything from the warehouse was wrapped up incredibly well and everything was delivered in perfect condition. The two delivery men really went the extra mile to help and set everything up nice(they even put the knobs on and helped moved a large TV to put the dresser where I wanted it). Highly recommend! A+++++
