Sushi Teri

I love coming here. They have great rolls and good service. It’s a nice place to bring a date (my wife). Eat the Godzilla roll, it’s great!

We are regular customers here. Tonight, the service was extremely fast (much faster than usual). And, as always, the food was fantastic! We will continue to come here if this new trend in service stays! Great job, Sushi Teri!

Service was slow. Not once did our waitress come by and check how we were doing or to let us know when our food would be coming out. Sushi rolls took a while to come out– my group realized we didn’t want to wait any longer with the poor service, so once our food came I immediately asked the waitress to bring boxes and the check. The waitress came back with the boxes and check, dropped them off– literally just leaving them at the end of the table and left without a word.
This place is much too small for the business that they get, especially for dinner service. Expect to wait for people to move aside if they’re standing because literally the walkways are too small, like you’d be up shoulder-​to-​shoulder with other people

I am very disappointed with my experience at Sushi Teri last night. The waitress was very rude and the fish was not fresh. To start when when the waitress asked what we’d like to drink she didn’t stop walking… she didn’t even look at us, she just said said «two waters» (not what we asked for) and just kept on walking past the table. I had to call her back to the table and she was angry about it. When I asked what kind of cold sake they had she said «small and large». I asked if they had different kinds to chose from and she said «no, just small and large». So I asked what the difference in the small and large sizes were, she sarcastically said «one is small and one is large». We should have walked out. We were done with our drinks and my BF was in the bathroom by the time she came back to take our order. The food came quickly and all at once. Soup, salad, appetizer and sushi all in the table at once. It was ridiculous. I didn’t eat one of the rolls because the albacore smelled fishy and looked dry and a little sticky. It makes me very sad to see what had become if this place. Oh… and when we were leaving I saw all of the other bottles of cold sake available in the refrigerator. So I guess there was other sake besides «small and large». This place sucks.

Went there tonight with my girlfriend. We first encountered a smart ass waitress. When she was asked by my girlfriend what’s the size difference between a small sake and a large, the smart ass server said small and large. She wasn’t even friendly and never came once to see how we’re doing. Then came our rolls red dragon was good but the white dragon was awful. The albacore was brown and not fresh. This place use to be way better. Maybe people don’t know better.

Tonight we really wanted sushi, but the little one was not in the mood for sitting in a resturant so we called in and ordered our food for pick up. We were told that it would be ready in 20 minutes. So we loaded up the little one real quick to pick it up. We got to the resturant 25 mins after ordering. Only to be told that it wasn’t ready, that it was going to be another 10 minutes. Almost exactly and hour after we ordred it we got our food. No offer of a discount, We drove home, at as soon as we got home. Rice and soup cold. What the …

We ordered food to go last night. Phoned it in at 6pm, requested it be ready at 7pm for pick up. When we got it home, it was COLD and STIFF as if they had made it immediately after we called and let it sit there for 45 minutes.
It gets better… my husband had a spicy tuna hand roll that he ate first (it’s his favorite), and started puking an hour later. He spent all night being sick on the bathroom floor. DISGUSTING!!!
We used to love this place, but it has really changed with the new ownership and management. NEVER going back.

My friend took me to Sushi Teri last night to celebrate my birthday. From some of the reviews I’ve read I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I love Sushi so I kept an open mind.
I was far from disappointed overall. Though it was a Saturday evening and the place was very busy, we were seated right away. Our server was gracious and very attentive.
My friend had shrimp tempura which looked delicious — four huge shrimp, lots of different vegetables, rice, soup and salad. I had a variety of nigiri and sushi rolls. Everything tasted fresh. If I have any complaint it’s that they didn’t have the option of fresh crab for the California roll, though they did have real crab for another roll. Only because of that I’m giving it four stars.
I will certainly recommend Sushi Teri to anyone looking for a good Japanese meal in Lompoc!

This is one of our favorite places to dine and we do often. Godzilla, kamikaze, spider, crunchy, dynamite rolls are among favorites. Kids meal for dinner is plentiful. Teriyaki beef is outstanding. The service is friendly, prompt and efficient. Keep up the good work!!!

We there couple nights ago. Had the grilled Salmon dinner with California rolls. Only our waitress abandoned us and another waitress got us half our meal. No pre course of California rolls.
Later she appears after I got the cashier to get some California rolls as we finished our meal. She politely asked if she could doggie bag them for us. Great idea and then forgot to do it.
When I said she abandoned us and did a poor job she could have cared less. At least we did eat. Better than Sushi Teri in Goleta where we did not even get served.

Great sushi. The staff is friendly. They always have really fresh fish and their specials make it fun to try new things. The have a good selection of Japanese beer as well.

Favorite sushi place in town, yet lately every time I go the service is bad. One of those times they ran out of rice after telling us they would remake a roll. The gentleman with the heavy accent is very short and rude. He tried to charge me for a roll 3x instead of just the one.
Besides the service, the food is excellent! Always get a fresh roll and the yakisoba is to die for!

Godzilla roll is delicious I usually get 2 and I’m good to go teriyaki and noodle dishes are good teriyaki is better then any of the yakisoba order to go it is small and cramped inside and it is ALWAYS crowded and loud. Good service.

Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but overall my favorite sushi restaurant in town! Cute setting, good service. I love coming here! and the men working the sushi bar are always so sweet and welcoming and usually give me and my friends free samples!

Sushi Teri is a good local sushi place in the area. I had the salmon nigiri and it was pretty good. A friend had the salmon sashimi and I was surprised how big the cuts of meat were.
I compare this to LA sushi (which is a little unfair), and would have to say it’s not LA good. But for a local sushi place it’s definitely good. I knocked out a star due to the service. I would come back though if i’m ever in the Lompoc/​Vandenberg area

Good was great I got the combination platter and loved it. Huge platter! Waitress was kind but Service was slow thru the entire process and it wasn’t that busy there. Slow on getting water. Gave us miso soup but then slow on getting us spoons. Gave each one of us our meal slowly one at a time so none of us really could eat together. Slow on getting our check. I don’t normally complain of slowness but it kind of ruined the enjoyment of the evening.

Pretty tasty. The scallops roll was my favorite of the three that I got. The «ocean salad» aka seaweed salad’s portion size was way too small for 6.25 sooooo ipso facto, 3 stars. I thought out server was very friendly, a couple mistakes on the receipt but that was fixed immediately. The raw fish didn’t taste too «fishy» and they handled the lunch rush just fine. I probably won’t be coming back because I specifically crave sushi from here but I’d def eat here again.

Firstly, the wait time was way too long. I ordered my food to go at 5:15 and didn’t get it until 6:10 the restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time (only 2 customers). The servers there weren’t even proactive in keeping me informed about my order. I had to ask the status of my order which is just unsatisfactory. I was told that the «new» chef was making it. I guess that’s code for «he/​she is having a problem making the food. Which bring us to the second problem. The fried rice and pork cutlet we ordered was all burnt. We didn’t find out until we got home which was very annoying. All the meat was dry and I don’t know what kind of seasoning they uses for the fried rice (didn’t taste normal to me). I didn’t have the chance to try the sushi, but considering how this meal was I don’t even want to try. I will never come back to this restaurant again.

I ordered the beef yakisoba; I received something that was decidedly not beef (unless Lompoc has some sort of mutant cows that have white meat instead of brown?). The waitress repeatedly tried to insist it was beef. Finally she said she would go check; she never did.
I’m giving it two stars because the food still tasted decent, whatever it was…
