Great breakfast but super busy on the weekends so get there early. Great about refilling coffee, awesome blueberry muffins. Service is friendly and they remember you when you come in often like we have started to.

Found this place through Unilocal reviews and agree with everyone, this place is great bone sticking breakast with enough heat to wake you up. Endless coffee with great service. Booths are small for the larger folks but it doesn’t stop us from eating! I’m glad there are more places like this popping up in Lompoc.

I have had the breakfast here at the Cajun kitchen. The breakfast is good. I had pancakes, eggs, sausage and toast. It is nothing spectacular, but it does it does the job. The service was great and very accommodating. With a price point of $ 10.00 average, the portion size is large. Cheers

Cajun Kitchen is one of my favorite brunch places of all time! I’ve been to the Santa Barbara locations a million times when I was living down there. I was in Lompoc this past weekend for a wedding and I was beyond ecstatic when I saw Cajun Kitchen across from the hotel we were staying at! I’ve probably ordered everything on their breakfast menu. omelettes, scrambles, home fries, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, etccc everything! It’s all amazing but the best part about it is your choice of toast that come with the breakfast plates!. it’s not the typical wheat, sourdough, or english muffin type of deal. Go for the blueberry muffins! Those things are deadly!!! Me love you long time Cajun Kitchen! Ah! Except the beignets. I have yet to try those. Don’t worry, I’ll be back!

Food was great. Lots of choices on the menu to choose from. The portions are very large so pre pare to split. The biscuits and gravy you could split with at least two people. Loved everything. They do close early so plan on going no later than 1 pm. Seems like a pretty busy place. Service was great and very clean.

Me Again the Central Coast Foodie with the most. Here at Cajun Kitchen, grubbing Breakfasts. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and my Wife had the Breakfast Sandwich with Ham. Food was pretty darn good. Usually the top 2 issues with Chicken fried steak are 1. Chicken Fried Steak is over cooked and is super chewy, and 2. NOTENOUGHGRAVY. Well let me say this tym it is not an issue. The Chicken Fried steak is crispy and delicious. Plenty of Gravy. Everything was is delicious. My wife had no complaints about her Plate either except it was too big, But delicious. All that gives this place 3 stars the 4th is due to COFFEESERVICE. Coffee service drags down soo many restaurants its amazing to me. But Cajun Kitchen has the Right Recipie. I am a coffee lover and i never saw the bottom of my cup. Those of you in my foodie circle know i dont give out stars easy and i am firm but fair and most of all i take Foodieism Seriously. I WILLREVISITFROTYMTOTYMTOMAKESURETHEYSTAYONTHEBALL. Best coffee best service in a while. I will thank the manager myselfelf. Good by n Happy Eating. SPOONFORK, CORK, ANSSPORKREPORT this is MP2 out TILLNEXTTYM…

This is my favorite breakfast place in Lompoc! Wonderful food and friendly service. I recommend getting an early start, after 10am there is a line out the door with people trying to get a table. Always worth it tho if there is a wait!

Hands down the worst seafood gumbo I have ever had the displeasure of trying to eat. A soup, not gumbo served in a dark brown water that had the flavor of burnt coffee and grill scrapings. The fish looked like scraps with cartilage and skin and the only other thing in it was small bits of green peppers and a miniscule bit of rice. Truly a crime to use the name Cajun. only managed six bites and quit, they did not make me pay for the stomach ache. Run away, stay away. The management should be brought up on charges against nature, true pond swill. And I am trying to be accurate and fair but this is unconscionable to serve something this bad.

The only thing that disappoints me is that this place closes at 2 pm… that’s it. If only they were open longer for dinner then i would come here more often. The food is always wonderful. Service is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. Out of all my visits I am never disappointed. Get the beignets with the works. I’ve had the french toast, which is my favorite and chorizo. All are good. I’m glad they mix it up sometimes with different specials. If you want breakfast or lunch when in lompoc go here.

Decent breakfasts… Especially the grits with eggs on top. I do need to mention that I saw a server wipe down a table with a wet rag, then wipe down the bench seat with the same rag… Then she tossed it onto the silverware dispenser. It landed on upright silverware in those plastic tubes. eww. She then went on to do something else.

I understand children don’t eat a lot, but seriously, only a half of grill cheese for $ 4

This is probably the best option in the area. They were even able to accommodate my friend who is vegan. I got the Eggs Benedict which is really tasty and we all enjoyed sharing the Beignets. my only complaint is that the service was a little bit slow we had a flag down our waitress a few times.

Yummiest beignets! I’ve never had one and just relish the flavor!!! Seafood gumbo is the right amount of spicy. Just love their hot sauces on hand.

In a small town like Lompoc, Cajun Kitchen Café easily takes top billing as the best breakfast spot! Cajun Kitchen Café serves up your usual comfort breakfast foods while dishing out some favorites from The Big Easy! My buddy and I ordered the beignets and we were surprised by the good quality and taste of them. They came out piping hot and the texture was airy and crispy. I ordered the breakfast burrito for myself and it was a little disappointing. The eggs inside were a little too runny and not much seasoning was present between the filling. Service was attentive, great considering how busy they were for Sunday brunch. Prices were reasonable for the giant serving portions too. i can’t wait to come back and try more of their southern food.

Friends have taken me to two different Cajun Kitchen’s and both made my mouth happy. Breakfast is probably my favorite meal and I love a place that can make eggs interesting. The fine folks at Cajun Kitchen have found a way to do it, serving up all the traditional dishes for breakfast, but also several others with a Louisiana influence, like Jambalaya and Eggs. I had an omelet both times(Roz’s and the New Orleans) and would happily keep working my way through the remaining omelet choices if I lived near one of the restaurants. Not to mention the Jambalaya and Eggs… again. One of the friends at the table ordered this and it made me wish my stomach was big enough to handle two breakfasts. If you’re in Santa Barbara, definitely check out one of their two locations. By the way, while the location isn’t on their website, they also have a restaurant in Lompoc.

MUSTVISIT… I want to give it 4 stars but If I could give it 3 and a half stars I would. I compare this place to Pappadeux in San Antonio Texas and it’s not fair to this restaurant. It’s a good restaurant with good food and the size of the food(portions) are good. Never had a problem here… if have eaten at this place 5 or 6 times. I like it.

Be prepared to wait on weekends for breakfast, but that is a good sign. Today I’m having the asparagus, mushroom, avocado & feta scramble. Whitney is having the crab cake eggs benedict, and Micah is having french toast. Always get the biscuit or cornbread, homemade and delicious. Easily the best breakfast in Lompoc. The lunch menu is amazing too.
