I got chicken tacos and carne asada tacos. They were pretty good, a little on the fatty/greasy side for the asada though. My only compliant is that I wish the tacos had more filling. My chicken tacos were really lacking in the chicken department. My boyfriend got the enchiladas which he enjoyed. It is quite a hole in the wall place, with a tables. Not the best dine-in setting but the prices were good and the food was good.

Wanting Mexican Food, and disappointed at the last place we visited(and left without ordering food), I recalled a friend recommended this place for a good burrito. Ordering 2 of their Burritos I can honestly say you get a lot for $ 5 each, but it’s mostly beans and rice. Both burritos had very little meat. I asked for mine to have their hot sauce(I like spicy) but found if they did add it, their hot sauce should have been re-named bland sauce. Also we asked for Guacamole and Sour Cream since they offered it, but both of those ingredients were indistinguishable from the excessive amount of beans. So, if you want a good bean and rice burrito, with a little meat flavor, this is the place.

I ate a lot of good meals while visiting Lompoc but this is the one I still talk about six months later. And it will be first on my go-back list if I’m in the area again. The food counter is located at the back of a convenience store but don’t be put off — the food was fresh and really, really good.

What I always enjoy when going to Miguel’s Carneceria is the aroma when you walk in. I’ve never been let down. This family runs a nice small business. The store is always clean. The butcher area is immaculate and when I’ve bought meat or chicken there they always take the time to don some rubber gloves for sanitation. The tacos are regionally authentic and tasty but my favorite is the chili relleno burrito.

Every weekend, for the past ten years or so, I’ve been coming here with my kids for their al pastor tacos sliced fresh of the rotisserie. It may be a no frills, hole in the wall-type place but that adds to the flavor and experience. Keep up the great work!

If you want the best Mexican food north of Tijuana, this should be your first and only stop. Inexpensive food with the highest quality taste you’re going to find anywhere around… around here or anywhere else. Their al pastor has me hooked and recommending this place to everyone! The kids and I love eating here and everything we’ve had is fantastic. It’s a grocery store with a «deli counter» in the back so, while they do have tables, the ambiance isn’t about candle light and romance. If you’re looking for a great place to eat and feel very comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt, this should be at the top of your list. Oh, and did I mention that the food is awesome?

Have not been back here since I was a kid. Saw all the great reviews and wanted to go back and try it out. Feel bad that I am giving a 3 star review. Want to give it more, but just can’t. So, I got a pastor and carnitas burrito. Let me explain that I am very picky about having too much fat and slimey parts in my food. Well, the carnitas burrito had plenty of both. Will stick with my other favorites for carnitas. The pastor was pretty good, no real complaints on that one. Beans and rice were very good. Service was friendly and quick. Might try it again someday…

I’ve been going here for about 8 years now usually just random stuff like the burritos in the back. Sometimes I get the tamales in the weekends now those are !! And they are fairly priced! Oh and of course! They have good fresh meat! :)

Best carniceria in town, absolutely love the carnitas and pastor burritos!!! An amazingly friendly family has owned and run the place for over a decade now so they certainly know what they are doing.

Their beans are so very good. We have to go to the lunch counter at least once a week for burritos – we just can’t get enough – and the service is terrific.

They have excellent preseasoned chicken legs which are great for a barbecue for the same price per pound as the grocery store. In the back there is a burrito bar, and the ceviche tostadas are amazing. Only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is in Lompoc which is a craphole on the Central Coast, itself a steaming pile of afterbirth.

Yum! Went here to try out the taco truck food for my wedding next year. Was recommended by a bride who got married at our same venue. We ordered the tacos el pastor, chicken, and Carne asada, plus rice and beans. They were delicious! Definitely a «go» for our wedding!
