two women work the whole thing and make fantastic homemade tortillas! They truly want to make your experience grand. Food was amazing, tortillas were fantastic. I’d usually lean towards corn but the flour tortillas were better in my opinion. The chicken mole was amazing, also tasted the chili relleno … all delicious items. Unassuming hidden gem.

This little hidden gem is worth finding! I don’t give many 5 stars but this one one them! First it’s like going home to eat you feel at home by the sweetest woman(owner) The Salsas while not my fav style come in two heats hot and mild. The Man was thrilled about hot salsa. The menu is a full menu so it has everything of course my favs Chile Relleno & Chile Colorado! You get a choice of tortillas of course. The best part is homemade tortillas!!! Flour home made Flour tortillas! Very rarely do you find a place that Makes them ! I would go just to get the tortillas! Once you eat homemade the mass produced ones just aren’t the same. The daughter ordered a chimichanga and the beef was do flavorful and tender it melted in your mouth. The chili Colorado was great spicy(beware lol) and ooh so tender. The beans didn’t have that we just poured you out of a can smashed and overheated with extra liquid taste and appearance but real homemade taste and look. We were told by the lady she makes her good the day her family likes it. Score! No wonder it’s so good. When we want Mexican we want basic good home style Mexican. This definitely got the bill. Everything was served in a timely manner, the place appeared clean, there was plenty of space. Did I happen to mention the homemade tortillas served by the nicest lady? Yes, a solid 5 stars! When the customer service is that good and the food is solid across 3 different orders it deserves it.

We were in Lompoc looking for a good place to eat. Keep in mind, I’ve been to many places, so it is hard to impress me. I, however, LOVED Angela’s. The food was great in portion and flavor and the staff were very friendly. I ate the Chile relleno/enchilada combo and my wife had a shrimp special. We will definitely be back!

Great service and good food. My girlfriend and I ate here. She had the enchiladas and I had the carne asada dinner. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The owner was the person who served us and she couldn’t have been more pleasant. Overall it was a great experience.

Yesterday we bought a coupon for food at Angela’s during the«Wounded Warriors» charity car show. The food was excellent! We will be driving back to Lompoc again to eat there. The Shriners were there too having an important meeting concerning their children’s hospital. The Shriners know good food and good people, so they too chose Angela’s. The food and service were excellent even though they had the big event going in the banquet room. The owner’s son is currently in the Army. Such nice people and truly great food! We loved the place.

Fabulous customer service! We came after closing and owner came outside and welcomed us in. I ordered the chili verde and my husband ordered the number«21» a combo plate he created. There was mild and hot salsa brought to us(I love when I don’t have to ask for the hot stuff). Our food and conservation with the owner was great. I would recommend this restaurant to all who want authentic Mexican food. :)

To me 3 stars at best! Very friendly service and tasty food, but the quality of the food didn’t seem like the best. The food was tasty and homemade like everyone else said though.

My boyfriend and I come here when we’re craving Mexican food. We have been on a quest for good Mexican food for over a year now and this place is the best we’ve found so far. The prices aren’t bad and you get more than enough food per plate. We try something new every time and have liked everything we’ve tried so far! The environment is very relaxed so if you’re looking for a fast paced environment with speedy service, you might be disappointed but we’ve never had an issue. Plus, the main person(Angela herself, I’m assuming?:P) is so kind and sweet and always takes care of us.

OK… I just found the best cheeseburger in Lompoc, and most of Santa Maria… Watch out Tom’s, American Host and Triple D. They flat-topped the fresh patties and put a fantastic caramelized sear on them. Two slices of CRISP thick bacon and a green chili. I never would have thought… Rolled the dice and man did it come out great…

There aren’t many food options in Lompoc, and after eating the food at the AIDS/LifeCycle camp for 5 days, we were all looking for something different. A friend’s boyfriend made reservations at this place, and even though it doesn’t look like much from the outside, the food and service were top notch. The owners had a big sign at the entrance welcoming all ALC Riders, which is always a nice touch. I ordered the carnitas tacos, and got to try the mole. The food was tasty and home made.

This is definitely a whole in the wall place. In fact if you didn’t know better you would think it is closed down. When we entered we were greeted by a whole family but what we noticed right away was the. lack of customers. This kinda worried us but we thought lets give it a chance. Sad to say our table was dirty and the complimentary chips and salsa were bad. They had no salt but tons of oil. The food was badly prepared and they reheated portions of our food on the very visible microwave. I didn’t eat most of my meal which if you know me is hard to believe. Would not go back which is sad because i like that it’s a family business and i like to support that.

We chose this place because of the ratings on Unilocal,so I figured this little hole-in-the wall dive would have some EXCELLENT food. I was wrong. I mean it’s not«bad», but the options here on Unilocal are«Meh. I’ve experienced better» or «A-OK which more sounds like it’s pretty good. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, but to me it’s a 2.5 stars. … «Meh … Just okay.» I ordered #19(I believe) a Tamale and two Asada Tacos. Except for the ¼ cup of tasty guacamole on each taco, there was nothing positively memorable about the meal. The tamale was falling apart and tasteless — I doubt they make these here. I’m not sure what the taco meat tasted like — must’ve been bland? The rice was dried out and hard and the beans without much flavor. Their regular salsa was just okay and their«hot» salsa was about the only thing that had a nice bite to it — so I used it to pour all over everything to give it some flavor. Total was $ 13.00 with tax and tip, so that’s not bad for a touristy area … I guess. Sorry, but I wouldn’t go here again in hopes that I can find better quality food for a similar price. Sorry Angela, :(

Affordable and really tasty. This place is by far my favorite Mexican place in town. I usually get the combination burrito. The thing is HUGE. I usually split it with whoever I am with or take half home with me. The owner here is always nice. If you have a sweet tooth try the churro and fried ice cream dessert, it is also pretty large so bring a friend to share it with.
