Tacos are really good, and the price is insane. $ 1 for any taco. I got the lengua, tripa, and asada. 100% satisfied. This place does not have a salsa bar with onions and cilantro but the price more than makes up for it. Definitely try this place. To update older reviews, this place does take card now and the bakery items are still 75 cents a piece.

Great authentic Mexican food. They make some of the best Carne Asada burritos in town ! I usually take it to go and I’m outa there in 5 min.

This place is rundown and dirty. It’s cheap but you’d better not be too picky.

La Roca is excellent. I remember when it first opened about 8 or 9 years ago and I would go there all the time. Their tortas have always been my favorite, but the burritos are also very good. For carne asada snobs, the carne asada here is more sauteed /pan fried rather than grilled just FYI. Prices. Everything here is dirt cheap! Your wallet will thank you for eating at La Roca after you’re totally stuffed at $ 4 including a drink. The restaurant is not definitely not a fancy place — it’s a «hole in the wall» but that does not imply«sh*thole»! Anyone who can appreciate a solid mexican joint with good food will have no problem eating here. I’ve seen tons of fast food joints that are much worse off in terms of cleanliness. Plus, Baskin Robbins is across the street if you somehow miraculously still have room for dessert. I’m only giving 4 stars but I wish I could give 4.5. I’ve simply had better Mexico food elsewhere but La Roca is definitely still up there.

I used to go here almost every day in high school, sure that probably wasn’t the healthiest of choices, but its sooo good! The enchiladas are my favorite but anything you order has tasty guarantee! It gets better though not only is this a restaurant, but they have a bomb-ass bakery connected and anything you decide to get is 75 cents! Try the empinada de pina!

I love this shitty little taco joint – I don’t know the exact address, but it’s right next to Baskin Robbins, and if you’re from Lompoc, you should know which place I’m talking about anyway, because La Roca is GOOD. They make everything from scratch, don’t speak any English(my sister went in and asked for water once – she got blank stares), and know how to cook. I love their tortas, although the bottom can get a little soggy if you plan on driving around before you eat it(still delicious, just a different texture). I also really like their cerviches(although I probably didn’t spell that right). It’s the kind of run down place that only accepts cash and is probably not meeting health code, but it’s always bomb food and it’s never made me sick, so I don’t mind… but health nuts, consider yourself warned.
