After a long day at work, this place hit the spot. I got the El Pastor burrito special for $ 3.99 and along with it came limes and I asked for Chile Verde and ended up getting a small carry out box of pork and chile verde… must be my lucky day! Jalapeños were on deck as well. The burrito was fresh. The horchata was delicious. The service was friendly and quick. Florianos may be the top quality place for mexican food in Lompoc but this place just won me over as a personal favorite. The jalapeños.

Great bakery. Pan is made fresh daily. You can’t get better bread anywhere closer. I don’t know about the restaurant next door, it does seem a little run down, but this not a review on that.

The restaurant is next door to the bakery, which are both owned and run by the same people. I noticed the patrons are mostly mexican, which usually translates to great mexican food, but I ordered the Carnitas taco, and instead of soft and juicy with great flavor the meat was dry to the point it was crispy and lacked flavor. It was as if they prepared their Carnitas a day or two before serving it. There were also foodstuffs left out on the counters, so not sure if they even know what the food temp should be to remain healthy. The kitchen appeared to be very greasy, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long long time. Hopefully the health department will stop in soon. I will return someday, and hopefully they will have cleaned up their act. If it’s still as bad, I will not return.
