Bought SOL headphones on 12÷1÷2014 and the guy asked if we wanted the ext warranty which my son normally buys. He told us we had one year to return it I store and«that’s the way some people get around buying the ext warranty» these were his words, I can’t make this up! Based on what he said we declined the ext warranty. Apparently he was not a well informed worker. When we brought them back to exchange due to one headphone not working, he said it was 30 days I read the back of the receipt and it stated SOME items are 30 days and some are 90. It’s doesn’t say on our receipt which one and on the day of this visit we were at 90 days. I told him what he had previously told me and he said I was a liar and he never said that. Seriously? I will NEVER buy from radio shack in Lompoc or any other location. If these workers can’t be trusted to quote accurate information then I won’t purchase anything there. No wonder radio shack is going out of business. I will also be contacting their HQ to let them know about their horrible customer service, calling customers liars isn’t good business!

The store must have changed drastically in the last couple years because the service is always great. I don’t go there very often, but when I do, they have what I need and are always friendly and knowledgable

Good, solid selection. However, the employees are not friendly or helpful ATALL. One rather«large» employee smells like a dirty ashtray and I usually check to see if he is there before I walk in. Smells the whole store up and smoke lingers everywhere. Only go there as a last resort.
