This is the best place to get a Brazilian Wax! Maureen Perlin has been doing them forever! She is extremely qualified with a gentle rip. :-) Very relaxing atmosphere, great price, all around great experience. I highly recommend her for all your hairy needs. Added bonus… the Beauty Connection will give you a 15% discount if you want to buy any products after

This place is so wonderful. I have personally never got my hair done here. But I have called and bought products from here. The ladies are always friendly and super helpful. Take the time to talk to you and put the make up on your face etc. I wanted a particular product they were out of. They called down to Santa Maria and told me they would have it tomorrow if I wouldn’t mind coming in. I thought that was great! So far I love this place. I wish there website was up to date.

Place is a larger than it looks like from the outside. Super helpful staff but prices are a little high.

This place really needs to step up their customer service. Too many times I have encountered terrible attitudes behind the counter. Mostly people who acted like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to ring you up when you were ready or help you find something in the store. 12÷27÷11 My LAST negative experience was with Janelle. I asked her where something was while she was texting she pointed towards another room with out looking up from her cell phone and said«over there». She seemed like she could not be bothered. So I walked«over there» into the other room full of product and tried to find it myself. After no success I finally realized she should have just given me more detail so that it was easier to find it or gotten up from the stool she was still sitting on to show me where it was. I finally went back to where she was sitting and asked her where exactly«over there» was and if she could please show me. She gets off from her stool and marches over while making grunting noises like I was the one in the wrong for asking her to show me(the customer) where something was located in the other room, and slaps the product with the back of her hand causing one to fall on to the floor and walks away. With disbelief of her immature behavior and she is clearly in her forties, I decided not to purchase anything from her. Maybe she was having a bad day, or had a crisis in her personal life that she was handling on her phone. But she was terribly rude and obnoxious about being asked for help. Janelle, when you are working in customer service you are going to be asked for help, how hard is it to help a customer if that is your job? I wrote the owner an email through the website and left one voice mail 12÷27÷11. Neither were returned. When I called to leave a message the first time, Janelle answered the phone I asked her why she had just treated me that way while I was in the store and she said«don’t worry about it, I have already talked to the owner myself so it’s okay» I took this to mean that she was trying to say that the owner wouldn’t care and she would not have to accept responsibility for the incident. I am sure she spun an entirely different version of this story to the owner to come out looking innocent. It would have been appreciated if someone had apologized for Janelle’s behavior that day. But they did not so here I am on Unilocal. Here are a FEWOTHERINCIDENTS I have endured over the years: 1.) I was standing at the counter near the register with my items waiting to be rang out. I was standing there for at least two minutes while the girl on the other side of the counter was on a personal phone conversation and wouldn’t acknowledge me or put the phone down to ring me up as well as the customers behind me. We walked out. Yet went back later that week as I needed my product. 2.) Another time upon having my hair done, I was leaving the girl behind the counter was very short and said«we are closed now and you can go out the other door and the register is closed» This right after spending a little under $ 200 in hair services. That made me regret having anything done there. 3.) Another time I was standing at the register waiting for someone to come ring me up while three of the people that work there were having a little powwow on the floor. I made eye contact with two of them while I was waiting. Yet they didn’t say«I will be right with you» or anything. I wanted to walk out then but did not. I did have to ask if one of them could ring me out though… 4.) Another time as I was shopping the owner walked by and said«oh my, it’s time to get your roots done». If I were one of her customers for hair services I could see her saying this but I am not. 5.) Two different times at the Santa Maria store(hoping the service would be better), I finally left because no one acknowledged me. As I was leaving the person ran up to the door to offer me help but by that time I was already outside and decided it was too late. Really, now that you see that I am leaving you are going to help me? So…it is all of this that brings me to Unilocal about it, it is my opinion that customer service needs to be re-addressed at this store since it doesn’t seem to be something they strive for. What is unfortunate is that they have a great hair stylist there that I have gone to twice but don’t any more because each time upon leaving after having my hair done the person working the counter has been rude. This translates into making the customer feel unappreciated and that they wasted their money in your salon /store This is not how it should be at a «full service» salon. The reality is that they are not the only store with decent hair care products in Santa Barbara County. While they do have an excellent selection of products for the area, they should remember that there are plenty of online retailers that carry the same products with free shipping and no attitude!

First time in Beauty Connection. For a small town, I was super surprised with the size of the facility and the high quality of beauty gifts. If you can’t get to Sephora, this is a great alternative in the meantime. Stephanie took her time doing a consultation with me. My highlights and lowlights turned out exactly the way I expected and the haircut is fun and edgy. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a massage here long time ago, maybe about 7 years ago. The masseuse was fair, able to give enough pressure to where ever it’s needed. Only complain is… she could use a mouthwash, maybe chew a gum or brush her teeth before seeing a customer. The price is a little high, a good massage, serene place, aromatic. I don’t know right now, hopefully they don’t up their price like other massage parlor. Not a fan right now because of the other places available in Lompoc, maybe I should try it again. I will update this once for the second time… if the price is right. :)

I give 4 stars though, because of Maureen and her excellent waxing! I get my brazillians done here regularly. for that, it’s great! I also like Diana who gave me my massage, mani and pedicure. I’ve not tried their acrylic nail service yet being I’ve been pregnant the last 8 months :) Crystal Reyes does great hair!

I got a great haircut here by Karen, she’s awesome! I got a better haircut than I’ve ever had in San Francisco! I was pleased to find such a large array of services in Lompoc. As a man I felt very welcome and comfortable here and I was able to find things i needed with the friendly, helpful staff. There seems to be a lot going on here — besides a full service hair salon, my wife was able to find her favorite makeup and skin care, Bare Essentuals, Murad, and Dermalogica. They also have massage, nails, and a whole gift section. Highly recommended!
