Martha is truly an expert on body anatomy. I purchased a wrap package and saw immediate results. She asks a lot of questions to determine the best package and provides great advice as well. Because she is so caring and great I’ve also booked a massage!

I booked the special 30 minute foot reflexology and 30 minute back massage but Martha spent an hour and a half with me because my calves and shoulders needed more attention and best of all, at no extra charge! She was amazing! The best massage I’ve ever had! Definitely coming back! Thank you, Martha!!!

I just moved to the area and my mother came out to visit around her birthday. I called and had such a wonderful conversation with the owner that I booked a facial, Swedish message and foot message. My mother said it was the best gift she ever received. She raced about the one on one service, the facility and the outstanding service. My mother also has a bad knee that she takes lots of medication to manage her pain and after her message she had no pain at all. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to recharge and rejuvenate… thank you!

I am in Virginia and saw all the wonderful reviews, and called to get a gift certificate for a friend who lives in CA for their birthday. I haven’t had a massage here, but the care of customer service for my order was phenomenal. Very professional and extremely sweet and kind. I’m sure my friend will love the massage from such lovely people! If their customer service is so good for someone so far away, I cannot imagine how great their massages are! Thank you!

I have going to Spa Italia regularly for over a year. I’m a nurse in one of the emergency departments and tend to be very sore after 3– 12 hr shifts. It was time for me to take care of myself.
I have been to a few massage therapists in the past and I’m here to tell you that Martha is AMAZING! I always feel so wonderful after a session and I have learned so much from her how to take care of myself. I so recommend Spa Italia for a super great massage. Great for a couples massage too.

I have had a lot of massages but honestly this was the best massage I have ever had! Normally with a deep tissue type of massage I am very sore, but instead I felt so wonderful! My therapist showed me stretches and really focused on everything I asked that was bothering me! I would recommend Spa Italia to anyone!

This is one of the best places I’ve been to for a massage. The interior is warm and comfortable. Martha is friendly and caring. Starting off with a foot soak and massage really relaxes you and raises your comfort level to the person that’s going to do the massage. The hot tea helps also. After that, it’s off to a nicely decorated room to make yourself comfortable on a warmed massage table. Ahhh… I love the deep tissue, but my daughter says the lesser pressure massage is also great! Heaven on earth, over much too soon. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great massage!

A wonderful experience. Spa Italia is right off H street so it seems like it’ll be loud and busy, but once you step inside you already feel transformed. The space smells WONDERFUL, it’s beautiful, and it’s relaxing. I got a great foot massage (reflexology — I could see the swelling in my feet from traveling go down!) and then a deep tissue back massage. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
The ONLY downside was usually I like to just sit back and breathe in deeply — not talk — but the lady here is so friendly that you want to talk to her! (when she saw me falling asleep from the foot massage, though, she said «there, there, take a rest!» :)
