I love 99 cents only store, who wouldn’t? My review is on customers service though. I walked in attempting to hand my application in, asked a cashier but she says i can give it to a floor attendant. I went up to an employee and said hi… no reponse… excuse me… nothing. I said again, excuse me. She looked at me rolls her eyes and continue restocking. Saw another employee coming from the back, i ask who do i turn the application to, she said the woman(manager) who i was talking to previously. So i attempt to talk to her again, she looks at me and walks to the back. I left. I turn in my application at another location who was alot friendlier. My question is, as a manager, is that anyway to be behaving?

I realize that you don’t get paid much… but couldn’t you at least just check on a price & not just put the phone down & never return to it leaving the customer hanging & the line busy?

I wasted my time coming to this store. It’s not even a 99 cents store. I came to this store because I thought it was an actual 99 cent store and it looked like an indoor swapmeet

Reason why I am giving them a one star, it’s because each time I walk in there, they would make me feel uncomfortable by staring at me as if I was going to steal something just because I like walking around to find good stuff there, I’m just your average college student, nobody to be worried about, and I Do buy things before leave the store. So it don’t give them the right to make me feel like this.

You know how there’s some stuff put there and you say to yourself«Oh hell no, that is totally not worth that much!» Office supplies: Well I have that same belief when it comes to scotch tape and that my friend is why I find myself here. 2 rolls of Scotch tape for 99 cents. Score! They always carry Krazy glue here too. Not the bootleg kind, the legit adhesive stuff. Garden: I also like to buy these 7″ terracotta pots here for my plants and plastic saucers for them(3pack). Why the hell would you spend more than a dollar on small pieces of plastic… really?! Toys: Let’s just say some are better quality than the ones at the 98 cents stores or at «we says it’s a dollar store, but we lied» stores. I’ve bought a few Spiderman puzzles here and big bouncy balls. Atmosphere: Not in the hood.

This store is a real find. They have sooooooo many hard to find little things. Things to organize your cabinets. Be sure to look up, they have things packed too the ceiling. They have so much packed in this store that you have to look a little harder. Most items are 99c, but they have higher priced items as well. Electronics, cell phone accessories, landline phones, computer cables, hardware items, car accessories, baby items, clothing, toys and many hard to find items. You will save $$$$$, many of the 99c items are 5.99 to $ 15.99 in other stores. Great for gift baskets, cleaning supplies, 3 laundry stain removers that really work only 99c. Goop hand cleaner gets out grease from laundry. They do volume and the store is busy. You have to be patient, if you want them to get something down from high shelves for you. Their return policy is only 3 days with a receipt. I have found them closed early and on holidays. So call for hours. This store is worth the drive, squeezing through the narrow crowded aisles, and looking a little closer for many great deals.

My local 99cents store. Head over here for cheap cleaning supplies and toilet paper. Kitchen stuff, from paper plates to paper towels. Duct tape too and hardware stuff. What I thought was interesting was they have the cockroach killer – insecticides on the same shelf as the pet food. So don’t think of buying pet food here… I think through osmosis… the poison from those insecticides will reach the pet food. O______o Dangerous.

For reasons I absolutely can’t explain, my phone charger is MIA. I was super unhappy about the prospect of giving Verizon $ 30 for my stupidity, and then a friend told me about a 99 cent-ish store with cheapass off-brand phone chargers. And now my phone is currently recharging on a charger I got for a mere $ 3.98. There are ever so many things I could have bought with the $ 26 I saved, because this store is full of both useful stuff and loads of impulse buys. There’s a little of everything here: the usual 99 Cents Store stuff, like soap and paper towels and juice and trash bags and crappy plates/cups and notebooks and beans, but then this one, since prices aren’t limited to 99 cents, has a plethora of fun things. Did you need bra straps with rhinestones on ‘em? Plastic clown statuettes? Foot fungus topical medication? A billion kinds of spicy Mexican candy? Mouse poison(ok, this one’s hardly fun)? New ear buds for your deafening purposes? A $ 12.99 skateboard? They have that too! Furthermore, they sell discount clothes, like those 5/$ 10 t-shirts, but also shorts, sweats, gold lame leggings, and underwear, plus backpacks and purses. The apparel section seems to be organized rationally(oh, there’s also an entire aisle of baby stuff), but the foodstuffs are confusing, like coffee on a shelf right above instant ramen. Considering not all prices are 99 cents(items that aren’t have price tags), it would be realllly easy to drop $ 50 without thinking. All electronics and batteries are behind the counter, so you’ll need to ask. The woman helping me plugged my phone into the charger to make sure it would charge, too, so I walked out knowing my purchase would last at least 30 seconds. I don’t know why, at that exceptionally cheap price, I didn’t buy a car charger too, dangit! Their parking lot only holds about 10 cars, so you may want to just park on the street without trying to get in there.
