5 stars based on my 1st walk-by visit. The store was open past their usual store hours. I wanted to see what the shop was about and the person there encouraged me to do so. They had really nice looking yarn. What do I know about yarn though? Who cares! It all felt and looked pretty(Yes, I’m that person who has to touch anything and everything that looks soft and fluffy). The lady chatted it up with me about the classes they provided and then we small talked about the awesome chalkboard sign they have there. I was in and out within 5 – 10 minutes. Although I’m not a sewer or knitter, this place kinda makes me want to be one.

Lovely space with a curated collection of yarn and fabric. I am a long time maker who has visited many knitting and fabric shops the world over. I think to be a successful a small shop like this has to have a welcoming staff able to foster community. The two people working in the shop yesterday during my visit yesterday need to work on being friendly and enthusiastic.

This is not your grandma’s yarn shop… although I am a grandma now. The owners of this shop are the same whose popular online website, . Of which many of their free videos on YouTube helped me to learn how to knit! Their shop has a small inventory, and the space is airy and uncluttered. I visited the shop three times in their initial first weeks, including their Thursday night social, wine & knit night, where they invite everyone to byob and project, and hang with fellow knitters(or crocheters). They even have their own special yarn.
