Super local spot for being productive(w/no wifi). The crew here is super nice and calm. This is the sort of place people come to read, write or have face to face meetings. It’s great in that regard. It filters out people looking to camp out and work on their computers via wifi. parking is a bummer, after work or in the afternoons.

Hands down the best coffee in Long Beach. The space is nicely put together, the baristas knowledgeable and friendly. My partner and I usually order an espresso and an almond milk latte. Both are outstanding. I like my coffee strong, and this hits the spot!

Great coffee and service! In an area where tasty coffee isn’t too difficult to find, I think Lord Windsor’s coffee stands out from the crowd! Coffee: Consistently delicious pour over. Every cup I’ve ordered has been really tasty. Between their roasting and extraction, you can clearly taste the distinctive flavors of each bean variety. I haven’t found my favorite yet, but every cup has been really good! In my opinion, the quality of their coffee is more consistent than Portola, which I also really like. Vibe: Friendly service and laid back vibe. I’ve only been here on the weekends and finding a place to sit has never been a problem. When we’ve gone, there are usually a handful of people reading, chatting, or on their laptop, but it’s typically a pretty quiet and laid back place to hangout. The people who work here always seem really friendly and helpful. Price: Prices are pretty standard — $ 4 – 5 for pour over, $ 4 for a bottle of cold brew. Parking: Not great. Parking is one of the bigger downsides of coming here. It’s an older neighborhood with mostly street parking. We’ve always been able to find a spot after driving around for 5 – 10 minutes(in other words, it’s not the worst), but the parking is relatively limited. If you like coffee(or a nice place to read or hangout with friends), I would definitely recommend checking out Lord Windsor. Of the coffee shops I’ve tried in Orange County so far, it’s probably my favorite place to go!

Lord Windsor is a coffee shop for babies, at a time when no one is paying attention to babies, at least in my Friend Group. A couple of warnings, though: Ask them for things that aren’t coffee and they’ll probably not give them to you unless the things are pastries or komboucha or the other fun little non-coffee things that a café of the like would have. No abstract orders like«Love», «Form», or «Justice», you’ll have to try your luck elsewhere. Don’t yell for a long period of time in a single, unwavering tone. They won’t tolerate that, and, looking back on it, I don’t blame them.

Lord windsors is pretty good. It’s a small store so maybe not a great place to sit and get work done. Maybe if you’re lucky you can sit at the corner table. There are tables against the wall and the bar area that’s is somewhat spacious but just look at the pictures and you’ll understand. Their cold brew has always been more on the acidic side. The first couple of times I came here, my boyfriend got the cold brew and didn’t really like it bc it was too sour for him. I recently stopped by and got a bottle for a coworker and he thought I put like salt in his cold brew because it was so sour for him… But I got an iced latte and it wasn’t acidic at all. It was strong but not sour/acidic at all. Parking– street parking. it’s kind of in the residential area so you’ll have to drive around to look for parking. I don’t think there’s a lot in the back of the store. Overall LW is good. I really like that they have a recycling program for their cold brew bottles.

The barista is very friendly and patient! We wanted to buy beans and he gave us detailed explanation and good recommendations! we also had iced latte, it was bitter than usually what I like but the good thing was I could still taste the flavor of espresso. Simply love it :)

Great coffee, excellent vibe, kind people. The City of Long Beach is really coming up and this place is proof positive. You want a chill spot to drink fine brew and read or catch up with a friend? You got it. Loved it!

Came here twice while on a mini vacation in Long Beach and loved it! The place has a nice relaxing and clean vibe. I really enjoyed the different brews of coffee they had. They were super unique and very tasty! I got and Ethiopian cold brew in a bottle and the barista suggested that I try it on ice. He described is as being«the difference between whiskey out of the bottle and whiskey on ice». He was sure right! I really appreciated his interest in helping me have the best coffee experience. I also had a vegan fudge square from here that was just plain delicious! Overall, very happy I came here while I was in Long Beach!

Great no frills shop on 3rd. Great neighborhood and friendly service. All coffee is made to order with a pour over method.

Hipster coffee joint. $ 3.50 for a cup of coffee is a bit much for me. It was good coffee though. The highlight of the trip was that on the first and third Saturdays of the month there is a lady that sells Sri Lankan breakfast for $ 10 a plate.

Every time I visit Lord Windsor, I fall in love with coffee again. Maybe it’s their brews from Ethiopia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico or whatever country they are featuring at that time. I exclusively get their cold brew, which comes in bottles. From the first sip to the last drop you’ll experience QUALITY coffee that can only be found in a few places. As for the shop itself is very nice. There’s space to sit outside and some seats inside. The baristas are friendly, and can guide you along the way if you have any questions about coffee. They do have vegan and gluten free snacks and desserts, which is nice if you’re into those types of diets. If you’re a coffee lover and explorer and want to have the best coffee that Long Beach offers, look no further.

Just moved to town from the coffee meca of Seattle. I’ve been a barista for a number of years and I like my coffee. First time here. I ordered my usual red eye. Girl behind the counter said they couldn’t do that because they don’t put shots into other coffee… Wtf?, then said«I’d have to charge you for the shot and the coffee»… Yeah. I expected that but she still wouldn’t do it. Left with a coffee black because i was headed to work. It was fine but not what I wanted. Seems like a super pretentious place and the attitude ruined my morning and in turn, my day. Save your money for Portfolio or Berlin where they’re willing to make your drinks the way you want them.

Love the atmosphere and the style of this place. As is the case with most hipster coffee, you have 3 options and that’s it. The capp was delicious but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back since I’m not in the area. When we asked for agave, they pointed us to their one jar of granulated cane sugar. It’s ok to be a purist, but cmon. Agave or liquid sweetener is pretty basic. Also our Capp cups were not filled up all the way…

What the heck — thrillist has steered me wrong. Every other coffee shop on this list( ) are amongst my favorites and seriously have top notch brews. Lord windsor roasters totally fell flat! The almond latte looked really popular and delicious, but it really was not that great. I know this place has a one size for all drinks type of thing, but this latte was seriously tiny. I thought a latte was supposed to be like 12 oz(due to the high steamed milk content over other espresso drinks), maybe 10 oz even; but this latte was much smaller than what I expected. Based on other reviews, the cold brew coffee is supposed to be good, but I don’t know yet if I’ll give lord windsor another chance.

No lines, no frills… just some really good coffee. I am obsessed with their almond milk mocha. I never get mochas anywhere else because they are generally made too sweet and taste more like dessert than coffee, but Lord Windsor’s version really lets the coffee be the star. Also, this may or may not be good news depending on who’s reading, but those wrapped up things next to the register are vegan fudge, not edibles. I asked so you don’t have to. You’re welcome. I need a place like this in my own hood. I’ll see you guys next month!

Damn good coffee. I went to CSU Long Beach for my undergrad so this little coffee shop was one of the places I frequented in college! I’m a fan of this place and I actually prefer Lord Windsor to other specialty coffee shops in the LBC. The only con I can think of is the lack of wifi. For this reason, I’ve opted to go to Makai Coffee during the times I needed wifi to get work done on my laptop. Solid cortados and top-notch cold brews! You can get them by the bottle too. I believe they also have Salud Juice(Long Beach local juicery) available.

This place is the best coffee in Long Beach. They have something for everyone. But remember, you have to like coffee. No Frappuccino baloney. Everything is one-size, and they will add anything to your coffee you want. Come here for a coffee date, meeting or study time. And you will love how open this place is. The design is simple, industrial-modern. Lots of space, huge ceilings. My one negative is that I do wish there was a comfy couch or two! If I stayed here for a long time, this place would kill my back. Their A-game is their cold brews. Take a look in their mini fridge right by the cashier and you’ll see all sorts of flavors. When I go to chain coffee shops, I usually opt for the sugariest dessert coffee I can find. Not here. You would be a criminal to mask this coffee with other pollutants. Then again, I ordered an ice latte with their home-made mocha, which was also delicious. So if you insist on sweet, get something with their mocha. And here’s the best part. It’s not one of those super expensive Artisan Coffee places– they’re cheaper! So you have to come now. Case closed.

The only coffee place that matters in Long Beach. They roast their beans on site. Great atmosphere to relax and get away from the usual coffee around here. I love how they won’t make silly ass coffee orders. No half anything. Their menu is simplistic and right to the point. It’s just damn good coffee.

My first impression was, «Calm, serene, hidden nook coffee shop.» They brew their own coffee in house, bottle it, and do a really good job at it. Their menu is simple, coffee and small bites, and it’s quite perfected. The service is friendly, the location is hidden and quaint in a residential corner. We had one of their bottled iced coffees and a latte and enjoyed winding down at the bar after a long day. Great place to relax and really enjoy a cup of coffee. The lasting impression? «Coffee done complete and the perfect place to include as a place to start or end your day.»

Decided to change it up a bit and have my staff meeting at lord Windsor Roasters. There are small shops that are open just to make money, and then there are shops that are open because they are truly skill at what they do. Lord Windsor is the latter. Our Barista was not only super pretty but also understands the fine art of coffee! Each cup was served with an artistic coffee art design and a side glass of sparkling water. The coffee itself was delish. The décor is cool, hip, and cozy all at the same time. Next time? I had their Latte this time(I don’t usually) so next time I will have a true coffee lovers coffee — Expresso!
