We went a few years ago after seeing it on Guy Fieri and enjoyed it. However, when we went back a few days ago we were disappointed. Everything was bland, bland, bland. I had the pork chop, my wife & daughter had the meatloaf and my son had mac & cheese. Everyone’s food was lacking seasoning.

Excellent we tried 3 entrees just so we had a good selection. Of all 3 best was shrimp and scallop risotto. Chef really knows what he’s doing really enjoyed dinner and dessert. If this place had better parking on a busier street I guarantee it would be packed 24 – 7. Thank you chef

Risotto & steak both lacked a little salt & the scallops were a little undercooked for my taste.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed our lunch. I had one of the lunch specials which was a shrimp and scallop risotto and my wife ordered the meatloaf. Both entrees were good. I had seen this restaurant profiled on Diners drive-ins and Dives and had high expectations. Our food was good but not outstanding.

Food wondering, parking AWFUL. How can you take that away from the review — let me tell you. It’s hard, but you have to give fair warning. WALK. Take the bus. Ride your bike. Do not drive. There is no parking. ANYWHERE. No parking. Got that? The food and service? Out of this world. The menu is small, but everything on it is great. Take the suggestions, have dessert but be prepared for a small venue, tight seating and think ahead planning. Loved it, but will hoof it in next time.

02/06/2016 — First time here: First things first, PARKINGISNOTYOURFRIEND. It took us several roundabouts to find parking 3 blocks away. It’s an adventure, to say the least. And now for the good stuff… On the foodie menu: Linguini with chicken(super good) Meatloaf with half an order of mac n cheese(omg good) Ugh! The parking! Now that that’s over with. On to the food. It’s sooooo good. Just oder errthang on the menu. We sat outside under the heat lamp. The atmosphere is casual. It gets busy. Definitely a comeback spot.

Came here for lunch with my co-worker. We ordered the Brick Chicken and the Sea Bass with the mango salsa. Both were very delicious. The chicken was very moist and not overcooked. For dessert we ordered the chocolate croissant bread pudding. It came out within minutes of us ordering it. Overall, I’d come back again to try their different items.

Great comfort food! Great service! Can’t beat the prices. Definitely recommend. Check them out on YouTube when they were on the food network Diners, Drive-ins and Dives

Best food in long beach. Fresh lemonade, and has the chicken salad, which was amazing. I will be back soon

This place was fabulous ! The food was like a good home cooked meal by Mum. My husband had the brick chicken it was excellent. The smashed potatoes are killer good. I had the meat loaf and it was fantastic tones of flavor with a little spicy after bite. I only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it’s really close to the rd and the parking was very limited BUT that’s typical down town.

Ive been here on several occassions and have never really had an issue with seating times or parking. I will say, that my fiancé & I came here on a busy, packed Friday night and the wait was over an hour. Luckily, 2 diners didnt mind sharing their 4 top table with us, so we didnt have to deal with the hour wait and sat down within 5 minutes.(Thanks diners! We plan to do the same if we are seated on a packed night). Other than that instance, I’ve gotten almost immediate seating every other time. I have to say that in my opinion, At Last holds the title for having the best risotto ever! Anytime I order a risotto at other more expensive restaurants, the dishes are either too dense or too heavy handed in the use of cheese or truffle oil; flavors end up monotonus and you get tired of it quickly. The Shrimp Risotto at At Last is savory, light, and soo flavorful — it sings! I can polish off a whole entire bowl to myself in one seating! Get the Risotto!!! Also, hopefully you’re one on the fortunate ones that get to try the strawberry shortcake. Its always sold out when Ive gone and I hear nothing but great rhings about it. Wait times should be a lot better now that they have extended parklet seating available for you to dine al fresco.

Food wasn’t that great… the beer selection even worse. Nice patio if you’re not picky about what you’re going to eat/drink. Green goddess salad is pretty bomb tho! The brick chicken is burnt and veggies are a soggy mess. Even the caramel cheesecake tasted burnt.

Pardon me it’s been a while since my wife and I ate here, so I’ll just mention the highlights. 1) Blackened prime rib — 5 stars easily. I love prime rib, but when I saw«blackened…» I thought this was going to ruin its perfectly good, soft, tender texture. But seeing how popular it was I went for it and so glad I did. 2) Service — mediocre. I forget exactly how our server messed up… it might’ve been a combination of a long wait and service without a smile. What I do remember was how the real server(the dude who actually brought us our food and took away our plates) fielded more of our questions, so we ended up tipping him instead. 3) Ambiance — Almost diner-like. I think I remember seeing the specials written on a chalkboard over the kitchen area. The food is more upscale than the café ambiance lets on. 4) Parking — Sucks. We’re not familiar with Long Beach and ended up circling the neighborhood several times before parking several blocks away. Lesson learned, avoid Saturday nights.
