Haven’t been heret for a good minute. Love this place! Food here is so good. Actually has flavor, not like other restaurants who’s flavor is so bland.

The food was fresh, well-plated and delicious. The service was polite but just ok. I would given them 4 stars but my server was aloof and a little condescending, imo.

I always order food for delivery from this restaurant! It’s always delicious! My personal favorite is Red Curry with chicken! The only thing I dislike is, when I call they are always very rude and not courteous. They hang up on you before we complete our sentence! It’s a little annoying and they also always forget to send me chopsticks! Even tho I remind them. But the food is GREAT! also, if you’re a vegetarian you can order the chop sui soup without mean and eggs! It’s a clear soup with veggies in it. So tasty!

I have ordered many times with the last year. food it good and quality is good too. my favorites are the miso soup and the salmon is delicious. Unfortunately the man they hire to do deliveries is SORUDE. and late to boot. he didn’t even say thank you after I tipped him and he was not only very late but he rang my doorbell incessantly when he finally arrived even when it says clearly in the notes to ring and I will be right down. I have to take stairs to the 1st floor. if I even choose to order here again after that if that happens again no tip will be given for rude and disrespectful behavior — uncalled for and not okay.

It was getting late, and we couldn’t decide where to go eat. Everywhere was starting to close soon, and we noticed this easy close to us, and they delivered. So we decided to put an order online through Unilocal. We ordered the Phad Thai, Spicy Fried Rice, Spicy Squid Salad, and Sunset Roll. We were so hungry when the food arrived, but we weren’t too satisfied. The food was okay. The Phad Thai wasn’t too bad. The Spicy Fried Rice didn’t have much of anything in it; no veggies or barely any meat. It felt like I was just eating rice. The Spicy Squid Salad had some good flavor, but it was mostly big chunks of lettuce. And the Sunset Roll looked nothing like the picture online; it was very boring. Maybe we might have a better experience dining in the restaurant, but we weren’t impressed.

I ordered food and it took more then a hr to get to my apt! Then when the guy comes he calls me to let me know he is here as in down stairs here! I told him sorry but my foot is broken and I can’t go down stairs to get the food! He starts to yell at me and I just click on him because I’m not going to be dealing with someone bad attitude! Then he comes banging on my door like he is a cop!!! Like really!!! Who bangs on someone’s door like that?! So I open the door and My friend hands him the money and he get mad because she gave him a $ 50! Lol he gives me change and throws my friend the food like if she was a dog or something! I open the food and it’s cold and the roll is jam packed with the flakes and has no meat in it! Lol I just wanted take out because going out side right now is hard with my broken foot! I will never order from this place again!!!

My family and I been coming to this restaurant weekly almost. Very convenient since we live only a few blocks away. Food are fantastic and very friendly service. Clean environment. If you haven’t had Thai food or sushi before, this is the place you have to try.

I absolutely love the sushi here. I worked at a sushi bar for almost five years, so I know fresh fish. The salmon boat, squid and uni was extremely fresh. A lot of sushi places cannot get the uni right… it’s phenomenal here, and so was everything else I ordered!

The food is very good, but I will never order delivery again. It’s very simple, don’t have a foul and disgusting attitude when you deliver my food. Especially if you are showing up very late and we spent over $ 120. I didn’t even mention that you were beyond late, nor did I expect an apology. But common courtesy I do expect. Like«hello» maybe in response to a greeting? I know you can talk because you were muttering curse words when you walked away. If you don’t like your job, get another one. I suggest night school with an emphasis on customer service.

Havent tried the Thai food but the sushi is grade A worthy. Each roll I’ve had here has been superb! And as long as u don’t come during the busiest hours the service is pretty decent.

I have been coming here for a long time. The Thai food is very good. I have traveled to Thailand several times and I can assure you this food tastes exactly as the one I had over there. Good service. Sushi rolls are excellent but a bit expensive($ 14.00) Sometimes parking is an issue because if their own parking lot(not big) is full, it is a bit difficult to find parking nearby. Love their fish tank with tropical fish!

First time here me and my wife wanted sushi we were going to go to a sushi bar on Broadway st downtown Long Beach. But it had a wait line so decided to come here. Food quality, service overall everything was great! My Bbq chicken was just a bit to overwhelming on the spices, the Sushi amazing definitely coming back.

Bai Plu here on 7th is too good for anyone to pass up especially if they like sushi and Thai cuisine. As a Long Beach native, this is one of the many highlights for me when it comes to food. The only knock I have on them is their parking. It can get fairly difficult but street and neighborhood parking is your next best bet. Their menu has an extensive list with pictures which helps because when I take friends there and they have no clue what they want the pics help them decide on what to order. My favorite at Bai Plu is their green curry and yellow curry paired with white rice. You can get mild, medium, or hot for the spice level. I like the medium spice. Their sushi has very good quality and portion. I love the Ikura and Uni. They make my belly happy! The restaurant has tables and booths. It can accommodate a good party of 7 to a dozen. The décor is simple and there are flat screen TV’s for any sports viewing. Our server’s name is Champ and he is a real champ(cue the drum then buh-dum-tish!). He was helpful and constantly checked up on us. So, make it a consideration to hit up Bai Plu and enjoy their awesome Thai dishes and sushi nigiri. It is a real treat!

First time trying this place. We were surprised as we walked in the door as we were expecting a «hole in the wall». This place was a pleasant surprise; although we like hole in the wall as well. I had the Hawaiian Roll and the Lakers Roll Both were very good, but a tad pricy. My wife ordered the Penang Curry and Pad See Ew. They both were good, but the Pad dish was not as spicy as requested. We used the 10% off Unilocal Check-in to help out on the bill as everything was just a tad pricy. Definitely recommend this place!

Ok place. I remember when this place was my go to for Thai, but it seems like it’s not the same as it used to be… Or maybe cause other competitors have been popping up and I’ve grown to like them more? Who knows but since they opened their other location on bellflower to accommodate more people and lessen the wait time it just hasn’t been the same. I’ve tried a variety of things but the pad see ew is probably the best item here. They have a sushi fusion and the rolls are ok. Prices higher then other places even happy hour prices. Service is a hit and miss. At times the servers sit down and eat while you’re there and it’s hard to flag them down when you need something and frankly I feel bad flagging them down while they’re eating. But then I find myself sitting there thirsty or in need of extra napkins… Staff should definitely consider eating when they don’t have people still sitting in their section waiting to be served, order, etc Parking is a pain in the you know what. The little lot is located to the side of the restaurant but there’s a few street parking available in front of the restaurant too. They take cash and cards, and they have tvs if you want to catch any games.

This is my favorite restaurant. I really like that you can get sushi and all the Japanese style food as well as Thai. They are open at least 1 hour later then most of the other restaurants, so if you are running late from work you can still get a warm and tasty meal. The happy hour is a good deal on the rolls if you go with at least 2 people. The servers are very attentive and the food is always tasty. This place is very popular, so much so that its hard to find a place to park in the lot. There is street parking as well. I also have taken visitors to Long Beach and have received excellent feedback. There is something on the menu for everyone.

This place was very meh. I would skip it and visit a different Thai restaurant. The flavor was lacking and the price was a little high for what is offered. Most dishes hovered around $ 10 per plate but the servings were just okay bordering a small amount. I’ve had the beef jerkey(disappointed), pad sew eeh(also disappointed, it left a weird after taste), and the bbq beef which was very meh.

The place for me is like a 6 year old going to Disney World… I know I’m going and I’m super excited but I can’t enjoy all the rides(eat all the food). The concept of Thai and Sushi under the same roof is awesome to a fella like myself. Every time we go to Long Beach my goal is to eat here. The food is great… PERIOD… to me! The customer service is good. It takes awhile to get your order. When it comes the Thai dishes are hot(if they are supposed to be) and the sushi has generous amounts of fish on them. Parking… is minimal at best. They have 10 parking spaces. But hey it is not a big deal, take time and chill you’ll have a great meal.
