Ok so if you’re gay and live in long beach, or just there a lot. Odds are you have been here! Yes it’s just a dive bar, but so what. This bar is home to many gays and lesbians that just want to have a good time and great customer service! Huge Shout out to all the awesome bartenders and my suggestion… Miguel can make a yummy Mexican lollipop, Patrick will have you hammered with a margarita, Keith can make a great gummy bear shot, Terry’s Gimlets are on point. and Shariese can open a beer like nobody’s business ;) lol!

LOVE the ambiance. Carl who works the Wed thru Sat morning shift is superb and actually funny with jokes and jesting. Mostly a very fun filled bar with good people who are mainly regulars. Their Sat drink special prices will keep me going there for a long time ! Love their pool tables too !

Wanna sing karaōke? Be prepared to pay the DJ a large sum of $$$ even though they are paid to be there… Otherwise you’re lucky to get one song in while other, significantly less talented(to be nice) singers sing 7. Just so you know.

I went here for the first time on Pride. The service was great. It is a total dive, but if you are not picky, it will suit your needs. Brace yourself for popcorn ceilings! I can’t speak to the food because I didn’t have any, but I figure this place is a good, local hangout.

Drinks are amazing, but the DJ «FREAKINGSUCKS.» By far the worst DJ known to the gay community!

Expectedly dark bar with a friendly server who made super strong drinks! Well drinks and beer $ 2.50 on Thursday nights! Typical kind of seediness, but actually some good people inside!

First time here and showed up with a VERY regular patron. she knew everyone and introduced me to everyone. What can I say, all the people were VERY friendly. VERY friendly. It was karaōke night which is fun to watch. The drinks were strong, again everyone was very friendly. I saw a few groups of straight girls doing the Broadway rounds and singing a few songs so that says something about the place I suppose. My only comment was how BRIGHT it was in there… I’m sure there may be reasons for it… but wow! Good morning! haha.

Was lookin’ for some good ol’ karaōke the other night at Alex’s bar, but they had a live bluegrass show going on for a $ 12 cover — Whaaa? I hear this is only monthly, so I’ll probably try again later. Foursquared karaōke in the area, found Broadway Cocktail Lounge was the closest. Reading other reviews, looks like everyone covered what I thought: if you like dives, then it’s a good dive to hit. Pool table and some video games, too. Crowd is very friendly. Downside: cash only but there is an ATM. I would definitely go here again. Gave it 3 stars cuz well, it’s a dive.

If you love dive bars and have no preference on the type of spirit you’re being served this is your place. Again, don’t go if you’re picky. They don’t have top shelf stuff so be prepared to drink your basic Well brands. But before I even jump into this review let me let you know that it’s CASHONLY. I put that in caps so if this review pops up first you’ll know what you’re getting into before you walk in and order a drink. The bartender was hilarious and the crowd seemed scary at first, but then I realized they were just slightly crotchety regulars mixed in with some less scary regulars. I’m not a huge dive bar fan, but if I were I’d go to this place.

All you need is good company to turn any place into a memorable night. The strong(cash only) drinks, super friendly staff, and night of karaōke also helps of course. So many of the singers were extra impressive! And of course we were in a dancing mood so any upbeat 80s song got a crowd of backup dancers to set the mood right haha! The issue though was the area(apparently not the nicest part of town) and almost impossible chances of finding a parking spot. I got lucky with the spot in their back lot, but my other friends had to give up and park a couple miles away and über over! It’s not an easy place to meet up if you’re not from around the area.

We had our tacky prom birthday theme party there this weekend. I have to give a thank you shout out to Randy, Carlos and Patrick for allowing me to come in and decorate the back room with tons of streamers, balloons and tacky décor. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

A cool bar to go too to end your night with some Karaōke and cheap drinks. Just be careful some people can be a little territorial with the songs they sing or if you accidently take their seat. Yea that happened. but overall it was fun.

I stumbled into this Gay Karaōke bar with about 8 Marines, 1 Coast Guard and 3 civilians(I being one of the civilians). We were hanging out for 2 birthdays. The bar tender was friendly, the karaōke dj was good to us, the cliental LOVED us. One older gentlemen told my BF that the marines reminded him of his days in the Korean war. :) Drinks are cheap, place is a little dingy and for the most part we went conflict free. We did get scolded for singing along to one karaōke song by someone that said they worked there, but everyone quieted down and respected her voice time. I will definitely be back, sans Marines, to enjoy this establishment in the future.

I’ve been here twice for karaōke and have had a BLAST both times. The last time I was here was this past weekend and Miguel was tending the bar. What a riot he is! And adorable, too. I absolutely loved the flair he added to the service he provides. He totally helped make my evening. Karaōke is always fun to watch(I haven’t had the nerve to partake just yet). This place is always good for a fun time. Everyone is really friendly. And the drinks are CHEAP and INCREDIBLY stiff. I had a few Jameson and sprites and watched as Miguel filled the glass to about a centimeter from the top with Jameson and then added a minute splash of sprite. Just love it here!

I live VERY close to this bar, so a few months ago, I decided to try it out. I loved it, and it’s still one is my go-to bars on Broadway. Strong drinks at a good price. Pool, Pacman, and Karaōke. A comfortable couch. Friendly atmosphere. Good bartenders. Clean.

Its a dingy dive bar, but I’m a fan. Karaōke is a favorite here for its low-key audience. I remember one year, i was going through a bad break up around xmas, my co-worker brought me here for a «shift-drink». It was decorated rather kitsch. Bartender back then was a cool guy and made me laugh. I have been dropping back ever since. It used to be older men, lately lots of bitchy queens hang out here, I think they are jealous of my boogie. The bartenders are always cool though. and thats all that matters.
