This review is very late. But my family’s experience here was so good I would feel bad if I never reviewed. My dad also uses Unilocal(he doesn’t review) but told me I needed to. I’m finally getting to it… Oops. Around a year ago my parents were visiting from NorCal, we happened to be in Long Beach for an afternoon. We were all hot and hangry, either my dad or I got on Unilocal and found this place. I didn’t expect much. Which was wrong of me. I’ve been to many small outdoor Mexican food restaurants. There were two people behind the window. Im not sure if one was the owner but they were very friendly! As we were ordering my mom mentioned that I had found them on Unilocal. As we waited they brought out chips and salsa. We were pretty hungry so we were happy. Next, they brought out out sliced cucumber and lemon. Which is one of my favorite things to eat! Simple and refreshing. I feel like this isn’t common for typical outdoor Mexican food stops like this appeared to be. Usually they call out your order, you pick it up and that’s that. But here they were kind, friendly, and kept coming out to see if we needed anything, bringing us more salsa, etc. Anyways, they brought us out or food. I can’t remember what my parents or brother ordered but I got a quesadilla de asada. Which turned out to be HUGE and delicious. With sour cream and guacamole. Bomb. I even shared with my brother because I couldn’t finish it. My family was very happy with their food as well. We haven’t gone back simply because they aren’t in SoCal often and they don’t visit Long Beach. I have to come back because I visit Long Beach more frequently now.

mediocre food, i just like the nachos, and that’s not even consider Mexican food, save your self some bucks, but if you have no choice, take your food to go, its a filthy and smelly restaurant.

I stopped in for a loaded $ 7 wet burrito, it was alright. But you can really taste the low quality of meat they use(texture of chicken bits) and the place is questionably clean. The man ended up microwaving the burrito he made me… If you can’t serve hot food, a microwave shouldn’t be your solution.

Great food. VERY good prices. The owners are very friendly and always give the best service. The wet burrito and«tacos with onions and cilantro» are my favorites here.

I’ve only come here once but I’m willing to give everything two tries, especially with the overall rating of this place. That being said, my first visit here wasn’t anything special. Ordered a wet carne asada burrito, it looked great but lacked some flavor. My neighbor raved about this location so I was a bit disappointed. It is close by and the drive-thru is a bonus so I’ll have to try it again.

My personal opinion only… while the burrito looked big and smelled good! The inside and flavor is a whole different story! I ordered the the works asada burrito and well… it was more of a rice and beans with a smear of last night’s leftover meat from the heat lamp. not coming back here for sure.

Was craving tripas tacos late at night and BAM came across this spot… SOOOOO delicious!!! and the ladies who works there are super friendly and nice! It looks a little scary at night but at least it wasn’t in the hood part of town.

Food was good but chorizo was store bought not the good thick kind that looks like chopped sausage. Very friendly and polite family. Will go back

The food here is always consistently good. You have to wait a long time because everything is heated to order

First let me warn you, this place looks like a crap-hole! Second, don’t be scared, the food is great and the people working are super nice. The old drive-in restaurant has been cranking out some delicious and CHEAP food. Stop in and try the enchiladas a tostada or some tacos, you will be pleasantly surprised and have money for fun after.

Authentic Mexican food. Delicious. Nice out door seating. Fast and fresh and friendly. They even made us a breakfast burrito that wasn’t on the menu.

Oh how thankful I am for the Unilocal reviews of this place. Don’t let the exterior fool you, the food here is solid. You can drive right up to the window, order, pay, and pick up your food right there. You’re gonna have to wait a few minutes to get your food, but I’d rather wait then be herded through the way McDonald’s does it. Not the best Mexican food of all time, but it’s pretty good. Will be returning.

No biggie, just an hole in the wall to serve their locals! Food not that great, not that bad either! Service has always been good, food tends to be on the greasy side! But in this part of town, grease is a spice! I’m not going to sit here and tear this place apart. Casa Sanchez has been here for awhile, and has done a very good job.

Great shrimp tacos. Also ask them for the vegetarian nachos that the guy in the pink house orders.

So as I was cruising PCH I spotted this weird ass fucking pink/peach colored building that read: Mexican food Sonora style. Well hells bells, I better try that shit. I rolled up, spoke to a really nice guy, placed my order of two al pastor tacos and proceeded to chill and wait. 10 minutes later my tacos were ready, I was handed a red plastic bag with a styrofoam container and two tacos sitting on top of it. At first I thought they had fucked up and given me someone else’s order, but as it turned out the container was packed with fresh limes, three big ass roasted jalapenos and chunks of fresh cucumber. The tacos were delicious and packed with meat and with every bite of taco I had a bite of jalapeño and cucumber, the perfect compliment to that shit. All for the low, low price $ 3.00 bucks! Casa Sanchez I love your fucking food. The color of your building not so much, but then again i’m not eating your pink walls.(Ladies you know what i’m talking ’bout) :) Peace!
