We were regulars here. but i don’t like how the good games are taken out, and games on a timer are put in their place. 20 tokens would last us a while, now poof and they’re gone. Also, big turn around on the staff. Shows they don’t take care of their employees.

Be prepare to pay for parking. It was a Saturday morning and it was not packed. Food was good. The manager was very helpful in dealing with the food orders. Our server was nice but would disappear when we needed her. It was an okay experience but I was very disappointed that all the guests had to pay for parking because Chuck E Cheeses does NOT validate parking. I’m sorry but I will not be coming back and I will definitely will not be recommending this location.

I came here years ago on an internet meet up ground for a show and we decided that it would be funny to go to chuck E. Cheese. Everything about this location is wrong and is a punchline. I wanted to re-live my childhood but I swear when I was younger Chuck E Cheese was the bomb. For starters the pizza is really terrible and the crust tastes like cardboard. It was dead when we went in, therefore, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves…7 adults pretending to be kids for an hour. The roller ball thingy ate 2 of my tokens. The machine was an asshole.

Worst Chucke cheese in long beach. All tables were dirty. Games were out of tickets, half of the games were out of order and manager didn’t care. He was very rude. Last time going there.

I’ve been there twice already and both times they we’re VERY sweet to my son! Its not very packed and has some pretty good games for me and my 1 year old to have fun together! Only thing is that a few games didn’t work and sometimes a not so energetic chucky comes out for the ticket blast and that’s pretty sad Lol! Other than that, great place!

If the review page would allow no stars this would be my rating. My wife and I went here for lunch buffet. First of all the employees had no clue? did not provide plates, utensils. They did not re place the pizza on time! There where about 3 old slices and no one seemed to care. One of the employees was too busy playing video games, the other were just lazy, No service whatsoever. Obviously management does not care! Look at all these bad reviews and no answers. Pass the word everyone.

I can’t believe how terrible this location was! I came here because my 2 year old nephew was in town and wanted to do something affordable and fun, so I thought Chuck E Cheese would be perfect. WRONG! This location had only ONE person working the front line where you place your order AND taking care of the prizes. It was the Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend so, why not have adequate staff to handle orders? After we ordered it took over an hour for our pizza to come out. When we asked how long it takes, we were told, «that’s how long it takes» WTH? I asked someone else and she was able to finally get a pizza to us. When we finally got our pizza it wasn’t all that great. I remember their pizza tasting pretty good when I was younger and now it tastes like ready made oven pizza :-/. We had issues with a few of the games taking our tokens but the staff was no where to be found. This location is ghetto, unorganized and the service is slow. I’m only giving two stars because one girl tried to help, but everyone else didn’t seem to care. Visit another location or go somewhere else for a fun night out with your kids.

HORRIBLE!!! No clean tables, 45 minute wait for pizza, brown lettuce at the salad bar and empty/filthy salad bar. Games took our tokens, no live Chuck E in costume to entertain our kids, which was a huge disappointment. I would give this place a big fat 0 but I can not and the management was very apologetic. I received a full refund and am thankful for that, but I would never go back here again, Torrance location is much better.

First its nit so criwded and stuffy. The foid everyone knows but as I walked in someon was requesting a refund on the salad bar, I asked why and she said it wasnt fresh at all. So nix that. Then I tried three hand sanitizer stations, all empty. Restroom had only one soap dispenser, no paper towels. Then I decided to try the games w my dghtr. Ppl around me kept having their tokens eaten up. Then I used one and it wouldn’t give the tixs. It took three times for US to get someone to come fix the machine. I could understand if it was busy but it wasnt. But at least they had stella and not that awful mgd!

My memories as a kid are a place that is larger than life with characters a show and video games for all ages. With a 3 and 1 year old in tow I returned for the first time in 14 years. Oh how the times have changed. Chuck E is now a skinny mouse most likely because the food is terrible and the show is gone it’s simply an arcade. The service isn’t good and after having my daughter use all her tokens we waited 5 minutes to get a pack of crayons you would get for free at any eatery. I won’t be going back!

Lots of open space for kids to run around in. Good variety of games for all ages. The food is average but, i mean, it is for kids. This is one of the larger Chucks that i have been to so i would recommend this location to parents who are local enough.

How can you not have any type of bread for the sandwichs you offer on your menu? Not everyone wants you eat your frozen box pizza.

I really like this location. It is HUGE and very clean. We went on a Saturday night and were expecting a big crowd and no tables. But when we got there they had tables available. They were in the very back but no complaints here. Only sucky thing is parking. They have metered parking. They also have a parking garage a little less than a block away. We parked in the garage and the parking is free for two hours. So once we hit close to two hours, my Husband went and left the garage and went back in for an additional two hours of parking. Hey! Don’t judge us. We spent $ 30 on freakin’ tokens… We deserved free parking! lol

The staff are useless! They have a lot of excuses! Crappy pizza and crappy games. Even the manager is so useless. Doesn’t do anything to help the customers. I won’t go in this place anymore. I don’t even recommend it to anyone.

This was probably one of the most disappointing Chuck E. Cheese’s we’ve been to. Rude staff, not very clean, many of the games were broken down and the«technicians» seemed to be sitting on them and hanging out. The layout is strange, with the games clustered on one side and the tables on the other. This means that if you actually want to keep an eye on your child, you can’t do it from the tables. Other locations, such as Diamond Bar, actually thought this out and have a line of booths through the center of the game area, so that you can have a comfortable place to sit while your child plays, giving you the ability to see them. It also doesn’t have the climbing/play place area. I am going to talk about the alcohol situation at Chuck E. Cheese, because I know that other stepparents will appreciate the knowledge. Unlike other CECs, this one sells teeny tiny, pre-filled plastic cups of Copa di Vino, which is absolutely godawful. For $ 5 a pop. Other CECs will actually pour you a cup of wine and for less, but Long Beach serves this crap instead. I tried to go back to buy another(lack of better options), and the cashier(who was very sweet) had to ask her manager to get the cup for me, since she was underage. «You can only serve her one per hour. Was she here over an hour ago?» the manager asked her, giving me the stink-eye, and as if I were invisible. «No, it was over an hour,» she told her. I don’t know what more than one shot-glass-full-of wine can do for anyone in an hour, but I didn’t know why the attitude was necessary, which continued for each interaction. They also seemed understaffed, and my boyfriend waited in line for at least 15 – 20 minutes each time he had to get more tokens. If you park at the meters, be careful of the ruthless parking enforcement, too. We were less than 5 minutes over the metered time and were ticketed. They’re like ninjas.

This location is pretty good overall; the only thing it’s lacking is the climbing area with the slide that most Chuck E Cheese’s have. The layout is a big rectangle with all the games and tables filling the space. I recommend buying tokens in $ 30 batches because they cost 20 cents instead of 25 cents at all the other increments. The lady let my son have a bird bracelet for free(even though we didn’t have enough tickets). Each ticket is the equivalent of one cent. So if your kid wants a toy that’s 1000 tickets, you can buy it for $ 10 if you want. You might spend more than $ 10 trying to win 1000 tickets lol. The parking outside is metered. Perhaps there is free parking further away, but I have not decided to find out. I thought about gambling and not paying the meter but then saw the meter maid drive by doing an inspection on all the meters. So it cost us 6 quarters to park for our one and a half hour stay. My son can burn through coins rather quickly, so I try to find games that last longer. The best game is air hockey. The first to score 7 wins, however, you can stall and simply not score on each other. I thought we could do this forever but we discovered there is a time limit and the game shuts off automatically despite not reaching a score of 7. We’ve had the pepperoni pizza before and it’s just average. We are primarily here for the games but will eat something if we’re hungry. My son is currently addicted to a game called Deadstorm Pirates. It’s a pretty fun shooting game. He doesn’t last very long though and this game burns coins rather quickly. This location is relatively new(opened last year I believe, or maybe it was early this year). It’s still in good condition and is usually clean. We usually come on weekdays when it’s less crowded. I prefer my kids to play outside at parks and playgrounds, but it was still wet from the rain. Chuck E Cheese is a good alternative. We will return once in a while when the mood strikes!

Brought my nephews here during the week around lunch. It’s never over packed and there’s always people around helping out or answering questions when needed. The service here is pretty good, no one really goes out of their way to make magic happen just the bare minimum. Used a coupon that I found online and was trying to see if I could double coupon hehe didn’t seem to work. But getting an additional 25 tokens was extremely helpful for 3 boys running around!!! All the machines were new and nicely maintained though I wish there was a ball pin and slide. Helps slow the kids down on token spending! The manager was great with the kids when we decided to cash in our tickets! Was great about helping out with cotton candies and making sure we had extra bags to separate so the boys aren’t fighting over them. Meter parking. 2 hours max. Great way to limit time here!!!

Hear me when I say, «I LOATHE Chuck E Cheese!!!» I don’t care which location I go to. Too many kids cluttered in a small game/arcade area, birthday parties galore(which adds to the overcrowdedness which leads to anxiety for me lol), etc. That’s why I stay far, far away from that place unless being invited to a birthday party, and even then I’m cringing to the idea of going). However this location, helped eased my anxiety. My kids and I came on a Monday evening. Absolutely lovely. The fact that this location is new and is large length-wise was perfect. Facility was clean, pizza was good, and the game/arcade area is massive(spread out), and there is a LARGE section of tables and chairs in addition to tables and chair along the perimeter of the place. So for the first time, I can say coming to Chuck E Cheese was not bad. Now as far as the weekend, I can’t vouch for that.
