stopped by here, have been here before and spoken with the older gentleman. this time, a week later stopped by. same gentleman was here. He completely forgot he talked with me and instead took a patronizing tone. Perhaps from his cultural programming, any male that isn’t wearing over-​the-​top yuppie wear doesn’t look important to his ignorant perspective, or is seen as riff-​raff or whatever. could be this area? who knows. Granted, I believe everyone is entitled to have bad days, but when someone like me, who generally is pleasant an polite, and goes out of his way to be friendly, comes by, this is completely uncalled for and shows how ignorant and lacking in general empathy someone in customer service happens to be… shame. «What can I do for you?» yes, I know on the surface that’s a «polite» question, but it’s all in his tone. he may as well have said: «what are you doing here?» so no, nothing blatant, but I found this a bit insulting. don’t really get the best vibes here which is too bad.

Poor selection, prices are high for quality of flowers, slow service. The positive side is the 20% AAA discount.

I ordered a LARGE bouquet through 1800flowers, which set me back 95 bucks. The florist they used to fill the order was Conroys. Now, I send flowers about 5 times a year and these are the worst flowers I’ve seen. They were delivered late in the evening and with no water in the vase. The flowers lasted 5 days and were what I would call a small bouquet. Terrible! Picture posted.

For Valentine Day I bought my wife a $ 70.00 flower arrangement that came in a vase. Before I made the purchase I commented to the florist that the flowers I had been buying in the supermarkets and home centers were very disappointing as they lasted only two days. She assured me that Conroy’s were better. When I went to pick up the flowers on Valentine Day, they were already drooping. I asked them to change the flowers and they did although the replacements weren’t much better. Actually the flowers from the markets and from Trader Joe’s all lasted longer and were ¹⁄₁₀^th of the price.
I will never purchase another flower from this place and I warn all of you out there to shop elsewhere for floral needs. I should have checked Unilocal first. If I had I would have been warned by many of the negative reviews.

This is when the weather had been in the 90s. 1.5 beautiful dozen roses were delivered to my work late in the day and stayed in the air conditioned building till the end of the week. This order was placed over the phone by my fabulous husband.
Once home they died a quick and painless death due to the heat. Google search told me that roses should last 4 — 12 days if you cut them under water daily and add that special packet of nutrients, which I did just once.
After speaking to Katie and Tonya they made it all better. Professional and fair. Thank you both.

After having a bad experience with another local flower shop my boyfriend tried this place. Much better! The flowers are lasting beautifully.
The only reason for the missing star is because he specifically asked them to deliver it before 10am (as I was leaving after that) and they failed to do that. They did say they could try and redeliver it but there was a two hour window and I didn’t have that kind of time.
They took the flowers back to the shop and delivered it the next day at an appropriate time. That was fine. Overall, better experience than most of the other local shops we’ve tried

I ordered by corsage and boutonnière for prom here and I was disappointed. To be fair, my prom was the same weekend as mother’s day. My corsage was wilted and the boutonnière was flimsy.

Ordered a dozen roses for my girlfriend and I’s year anniversary. The order arrived on time but with only ten roses. They get three stars for prompt delivery but I would suggest for future orders that you ensure the correct number of flowers are present. Unfortunately for my part, I reasonably assumed the correct number of flowers were there until awhile after the delivery person had left. Seriously guys. Just have to count to twelve. I’m not trying to be mean but twelve is what I paid for and it had a special significance that was lost when there were only ten. Kind of ruined that aspect of my plan. My suggestion to customers of this shop: pick up in store if you can and verify your order personally.

I came in here to buy a Corsage for my Winter Formal date. When I got it, it was really nice. After an hour of my date wearing the corsage one of the flowers fell off. By the end of the night there was nothing on it, but the ribbon. I payed $ 21.99 for the corsage. I called and complained to them the next day and got a full refund.

I have recently started utilising the services of florists. My new love is a real girly woman and loves to receive flowers. I have bought more flowers in the last couple months than my entire life.
I was rather disappointed with the flowers I got here, as I was only looking for red roses the lack of selection didn’t make much difference to me.
The gave me the best roses I saw there, but the buds were already opened. Also I had to ask for them to put the little vials of water on the stems.
They were also quite delayed because there is only 1 computer/​register available for them to ring people up. So even though I was ready to go, I had to wait for the other girl working with a customer to finish before I could pay and get going.
I would probably not go back. I have never really happy with Conroys, but it had been decades since I had been to one, and most locations have gone out of business, so I hoped/​expected the remaining locations to be good quality. I guess not.

I really enjoyed this place. The staff was friendly and the flowers were beautiful. I would definetly suggest Conroy’s flowers to friends and family. Also the prices are good.

This place is my go-​to flower shop. It’s so convenient right on the corner. The employees were so friendly and made sure I was satisfied. They definitely went the extra mile. The flowers were fresh & beautiful! I’ve been coming here for two years when the store had just gotten a new owner. Also, the owner is so sweet (Katy S.) and is really involved with customer service! Recommend this for anyone who needs flowers that are beautiful for a low price and an unbeatable customer service!

I love this place! I come here every time I need flowers. The employees are so friendly and helpful and always meet my high expectations. The flowers are always so fresh and beautiful and my friends are always so impressed whenever I buy them bouquets as a gift. I think the prices are fair considering the quality and employee labor from a higher quality flower shop. I recommend this Conroys to anyone who’s looking for a place to buy flowers.

I should have listened to my gut and just gone to the supermarket to get a $ 12.99 bouquet. «They will be as pretty, if not as neatly wrapped,» my subconscious said. Needless to say, I didn’t listen.
I came in here around 10 a.m. on a Saturday. There was one other couple in the place and 4 employees behind the counter. I was greeted promptly and was assisted in the pick-​your-​own-​flowers (sold by the stem) bouquet thing. For the hassle, I should have just picked an arrangement from the case. I am not a florist, which is why I came to the florist. And there I was, having to pick out my own flowers. The flowers were pretty enough but $ 2-​$ 3 a stem is a racket. I picked 2 star gazer lilies, some carnations, and Peruvian lilies. Add in some filler greens and baby’s breath (*gag*) and the cost was $ 25. Seriously? They sell 2 dozen roses for around $ 20, but this simple bouquet was $ 25. I was kicking myself at this point.
So, my bouquet is ready and I need to pay… so I wait. Apparently, only 1 of the 4 employees knew how to use the cash register. So, I wait for the employee who is prepping a bouquet of roses for the other couple in the store. (Cause, you know, none of the other employees could do that.) I wait for at least 7 – 8 minutes and, when she is finally done with the other couple, she rings up the other purchase before me. Hello?! I was waiting. At this point, I had been waiting to pay for longer than it took to put together the bouquet. Then, as I hand my card over, she asks for my ID. On another day I might have let it slide, but the Mastercard is signed on the back and their merchant policy clearly states that ID cannot be a condition of completing a purchase. So, I tell Kathleen S. this, at which point she scowls at me and completely shuts off. She was pissed at me! Hate to tell you this, Kathleen S., but no wonder flower stores are a dying breed. It’s because of customer service and bad attitudes like yours. If I had purchased the same thing online at 1−800-Flowers, I wouldn’t have had to put up with your crappy service, your attidue, or showing my ID. Never, never again!

DON’T Go To This Shitty Place… Stay away from this rude place!!!

I was gonna buy a single rose for my girlfriend. She didn’t know how to wrap the
single rose. I told her that I didn’t like the wraping style. She told me «GET A LIFE!».
How could did she (Clrk: RUBY MICHELLE B.) say that to customer?
She also told me that she will call the cop because I was here this morning?! WTF
bitching about the same issue?!! WTF
It wasn’t me MiChelle~! LOL
I’m pretty sure that she has bad attitude. I hope owner fires her~!

The total was $ 2.72 and I gave her $ 10 and I got my change back which is $ 7.28.
As soon as she disrespected with the bad attitude, I asked her to refund my
money back. She again gave me the change of $ 7.28 so I told her that she gave
me too much change. she didn’t listen what I just told her and start yelling at
customer that she will call the cop.(WTF) Finally, she gave the right change of
$ 2.72 back with insulting words. But. damn. I was so pissed.
Dear Owner of Conroy’s Flowers.
Fire her the following reasons:
1. Bad Attitudes in the customer service. (Primary, I can’t forgive her on this)
2. She doesn’t know how to count money. (Secondary. I could forgive her on this :)

A little advice: Don’t put a brand new person on the order phone the day before Valentine’s Day. I have the patience but… it took a long time to get this order done and I was hung up on ¾ of the way through it. Next: I spent $ 85 and the cute dogs in a basket was verrry small with common flowers. I was embarassed when I saw how dinky it looked. That may be the national Conroy’s product… I’m just saying it was cheap looking. The good news? It was delivered on time.

My husband called at the last minute for his moms birthday flowers and they delivered within hours on a Saturday afternoon! My mother in law soon called us & was very happy! :) they took care of everything — we were calling from Hawaii. she wasn’t super familiar with their website, but she made it happen. Recommended!

Stay away from this place if you are looking for the best flowers and service! By far the worst experience!
I purchased flowers the night before I had them sent to my mother on her birthday. When she received them they were wilted and bruised. Were these the same flowers I picked out? And how were they stored? My mother sent them back with the driver.
We went to the store to exchange them and the women behind the counter (Ruby) had the worst attitude! She was slamming things around, yanking out the flowers that were bruised and unapologetic. Really! I pay good money for a bouquet that was not up to par and I get treated this way!
I put in a formal complaint with Conroys corporate who said the owner would get back to me, well that was three months ago… need I say more!
Never again!

This is by far the worse conroys branch I’ve been to… terrible service they were rude and not helpful at all.
