I first met Jessica through the company I work for and she had such a bubbly personality and did an amazing job with our models hair and make-​up. I knew I would have to use her again for other personal events. Well, I decided to use her for my sister-​in-​law pregnancy photo shoot. She made my sister-​in-​law feel special and beautiful. Jessica is an awesome make-​up artist. She was punctual, professional and reasonably priced. I will be recommending her to more of my friends.

My sister inlaw hook me up with a fabulous photoshoot and jessica did my make up! First time i had someone do a whole make up job on my face it was my first time wearing eye lashes as well lol she made me feel so glamorous i love her bubbly personality i love she knew my skin tone because not too many know how to blend colors on a darker tone skin to make it look natural but she did and i loved it. i actually kept my eye shadow and lashes on the next day for my babyshower lol i was so in love with my eyes!!! She is fabulous i recommend her to everyone!!! Shes so fun and goofy but is very serious with her job shell definitely be doing my make up again!!!

I was very pleased with Jessica’s work. I wanted a natural look for my headshots. And it turned out beautifully natural, yet still read well for the camera. She’s friendly and professional. I will definitely return!

Needing an update in makeup for my color and skin changes, I found this amazing makeup artist via Unilocal.Jessica is organized, clean, and talented. Not only did she and I make an immediate appointment, she was able to help me use a lot of makeup that I already had in my kit. Where the money was totally worth it, was in her teaching me better application techniques. I am savvy about makeup, but WOW, I learned so much more from this professional. Book her now! I know I will be calling her again for future events and headshots!

I initially contacted another make-​up artist for my wedding day. She did not bother calling or emailing back even after my attempts. Then, thankfully, I found Distant Glamour via Unilocal.First impression counts. Jessica replied back right away and was very engaging and thorough in her assessment of what I was looking for. Because I don’t live in Long Beach, we chatted over the phone a few times and my impression was that she knew what she was doing and was excited to work with me. I rarely trust even pros to do my make-​up after a terrible result from a non-​Asian person who had no clue what to do for an Asian face. She had given me a Kabuki mask, white foundation that did not match my skin at all, and really an accentuated eyeliner look that only made my eyes look smaller and beady and evil like Ming from Flash-​Gordon. Jessica reassured me that her clients are varied and her experience is wide and far.
On our actual wedding day, Jessica showed up 15 mins earlier than the appointed time. I liked that. She immediately set her work center and began working on my future mother in law. My MIL wanted an Old Hollywood glam hair and smokey eyes and Jessica pretty much created the picture we showed her. I had some pictures from Pinterest and didn’t want too prom-​like hair. When she was working, it was so effortless – putting on fake lashes for me is such an anxiety provoking task – I usually need a shot or two to calm my fingers but she put them on like she was putting on a pair of mittens. The finished product was exactly what I wanted. The hair wasn’t effort-​full and the make-​up had enough drama but no Kabuki this time. I can’t thank her enough for her punctuality and artistry, and some serious skills. I wish I can have another event in Long Beach so I can work with Jessica again! It was fun and felt like I was playing a dress-​up with my girlfriend but with a beautiful, professional, picture worthy result!

I have gotten my makeup done by Jessica a handful of times. She’s my go to artist. She is friendly, always has a smile on her face and is amazing at what she does. I have never left being disappointed. She knows what’s she’s doing. I feel my most beautiful when she does my makeup. She’s the best!

Jessica has done my make up for several engagements for the last 2 years. She is professional, courteous, and up to date on all the trends. Jessica keeps all of her tools and make up in clean sanitary condition. She uses the best products out there and has a HUGE collection/​variety of make-​up for anyone. She sets the bar extremely high in terms of talent and professionalism. Jessica’s application of make-​up is pure talent.
I have worked with many make-​up artists in the past, and it just seems like they pound on the make-​up to achieve the contoured/​Kim Kardashian look.
Jessica has a way of making you look made up without putting on a ton of make-​up.
