A MUST DO! HEY DUNKIN DONUTS FANS — THIS MAY BE THE COOLEST DUNKIN DONUTS EVER. YOU GOT TO CHECK IT OUT! A 3D giant chocolate sprinkles donut on top of the regular Dunkin Donuts sign. I went in and talked to the girl who works there. She said there was a former donut store that had been there for ages. They fought long and hard to keep the giant donut and they won. They incorporated the retro sign with the modern Dunkin Donuts sign. Hooray for Dunkin Donuts for preserving the past while heading towards the future. The sign is so cool and gives the whole place a different vibe. That giant donut beacons you to come in and have a coffee and a donut. It worked. I had to come in and get a small coffee. I wish it lit up at night– that would be really cool! I really think Dunkin Donuts should consider adding this giant retro donut to all their stores; they’d definitely would bring in more business. It would call out to everyone come on in. Inside the store is a classic picture from the original Dunkin Donuts from 1950 in Quincy Massachusetts also very cool!
They have free Wi-​Fi and tables and chairs inside and out. In the back they have an outdoor patio area with patio furniture and couches and lights.

What can I say but who would complain about Dunkin’ Donuts? I recently discovered Dunkin’ Donuts and their coffee. Starbucks just dropped on my favorites list. I’m glad the Dunkin’ Donuts made their way out to the West Coast and I hope to see more pop up.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. While the cashier was ringing my order she was talking almost yelling at her coworker. She dint even say hi to me or anything. She got my order wrong. I had to return my smashed grilled cheese sandwich not only was it smashed but the person that made it only slapped on one slice of cold cheese. It looked like something picked out of dumpster. I returned it back and I was listening to the person who made it talking shit about my order and was being really bitchy about it. I finally ft my grilled cheese sandwich and it was worse than the first one she gave me. I should just eaten the smashed grilled cheese sandwich instead. My new «grilled cheese sandwich was soggy and saturated in oil or whatever they used to «grilled» the bread. It really seemed to me that it was thrown in a microwave or something because it so soggy and gross. I decided to just throw it away. At least the cheese was melted but again they only use like a slice and half of cheese to make me a grilled cheese sandwich. I really love Dunkin donuts but this visit was disgusting and dealing with the workers here was unpleasant. This location definitely left a bitter taste.
One other thing I definelty do not appreciate the music here dropping the N WORD constantly and the lyrics are quite disturbing to hear. It was very unprofessional and offensive.

A little inconvenient to get into this location — you have to be driving east on 7^th Street. And there’s no place for a U-​turn on 7^th nearby. So you have to be determined and dedicated to get those donuts! Don’t come too late in the day because they’ll be out of your favorites. Yes, it seems like a hassle but you can do it! I like their specialty «cronuts» — like this month is blueberry. They have nice strong iced coffee and iced tea if you need a little wake up call before your commute. I’m glad they kept the historical giant donut!

I Funkin’ Go’Nuts with the Western presence of an East Coast Institution.
The Arabica coffee, believed to be the first species of coffee to be cultivated, is served up deliciously in the LBC. And Store Managers, Veronica, Anthony, & Brianna are as likable — as Cups O’ Joe — whose store deep-​fries or bakes over 200 dozens a day (that’s 2,400 Munchkins!). Service is always with a smile here.
I appreciate their low-​calorie options that punch-​great-​tastes, DDSmart’s Egg & Cheese on English Muffin (240 calories) contains 25% fewer calories, Saturated fat, Fat, Sugar and Sodium compared to Sausage Egg & Cheese on Croissant.
A Ham, Egg & Cheese Wake-​Up Wrap (170 calories) is the wiser option over a Sausage Egg & Cheese Wake-​Up Wrap, with 25% fewer saturated fat and sugar.
Choose wisely and savor the goodness while feeling good about it!

So the coffee here (as all Dunkin Donuts) is pretty awesome. The store is always usually extremely clean which is always a plus. However… DO NOT plan on sitting inside. Every time my girlfriend and I visit the temp is set at around 35 degrees! It’s a decent Dunkin location but if you wanna relax and use some WiFi you might be better off at the Coffee Bean Tea & Leaf or Starbucks.

I finally got to get a coffee n donuts from here. The coffee is pretty good. The donuts is just a donut i did not find it to be amazing like crispy cream. This would be my second choice aside from Starbucks.

Stale and chalky donuts. I bought a half dozen via drive thru and they got the order wrong. My daughter and I tried 2 bites and threw the rest away.
What a waste of money.

I’m an east coast native and we have DD everywhere. When I moved here I had no desire to go to a DD since we have plenty of local shops in the area with excellent donuts.
However my dad gave me a gift card for some reason so I stopped by on my way to work in the morning. Ordered half a dozen donuts and a coffee.
The donuts were pretty good to be honest. The ones I tried were soft and moist. I gave the rest to my co workers and they loved them too. The coffee was also decent but not spectacular.
Try the double chocolate donut. You’re welcome!

I’ve only been inside twice, but I swing by through the drive thru pretty often. My sudden urges for their lattes, donuts and breakfast sandwiches are SERIOUS. Nothing makes me happier in the mornings than driving out of here w/​a small almond latte, an egg & cheese bfast sammich on an English muffin and a coconut, regular glazed, or a croissant donut. The coffee is REAL; strong and delicious. Forget Starbucks. The donuts are pretty good. They don’t have the biggest selection but they have the basics and that’s fine w me! I can’t speak for all the breakfast because I stick to my egg & cheese… But my bf has tried half the menu and vows for them. Also… THE HASHBROWNS. THOSE HOLY HOLY HASHBROWNS. I wished they super-​duper super sized those!
I’ve read some bad reviews on the service but honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about all the workers I’ve ever encountered. On that note, I will continue to be a regular here!
P. S. they have happy hour between 2−6pm. My medium latte is $ 1.99 as opposed to $ 3+ reg price.

Would’ve been 5 stars, but Minnie Mouse decided to stroll up on me while I sat inside to enjoy a hot cocoa and donut.
Needless to say, I didn’t finish my donut and hot cocoa. A person kind of loses their appetite if a mouse attempts to crawl up their leg. Please look into pest control.
If you don’t mind mice, awesome service and a better alternative for a study place than Starbucks. But you lost me when that gray thing surfaced. Sad face.

Just plain gross, don’t be confused by my picture I still ate the donut but simply not a fan. The donuts taste like plastic, very odd and super scary.

The return of Dunkin Donuts to California stirred a lot of buzz. And it was pretty ballsy to open up shop in Long Beach, where there is no shortage of great breakfast, doughnut, and coffee joints. But to be the best, you gotta beat the best. Anticipation led to long lines and crowded parking, and only recently has the commotion died down, giving me a chance to sample their wares. So what’s the verdict? I imagine it would be like if Jack In the Box opened on the east coast. It’s nothing special to those who’ve had it, but it’s a novelty for those who haven’t.
The good: service is pretty friendly. The coffee is affordable and has a lot of flavor choices. Toasted almond and coconut stand out as personal favs. And the Coolatta is pretty delicious. Dunkin’ Donuts is not afraid to make it sweet (everything tastes better with sugar).
The bad: access. For a place that has a drive thru, it’s inconvenient as fuck. You can only enter if you’re eastbound on 7^th Street, and the exits spit you back out into the Iron Triangle. Not a big deal if you’re headed for the freeway. But if you want to head west, good luck.
The worse: the doughnuts. Dunkin’ Donuts Corporate always says that doughnuts aren’t their number one focus anymore, and it shows. While they look cute and tasty, they’re mostly the cake variety. This probably makes them more resilient for dunking in coffee at least. But they come off a bit dry and don’t taste as fresh or soft as some other places. Case in point, the Jelly doughnut. I don’t how they did it, but they managed to make a dry jelly doughnut. When the center is literally sweet viscous goo, how can the doughnut still taste dry? It’s a marvel for the ages.
I also tried some monstrosity with blue frosting, the less said the better. Strawberry sprinkle was better, but I think the cakiness was disguised by the frosting. Smells like those old Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Their Kruller stands out the most, probably because it’s simple and has a nice airy, flaky texture compared to the denser options.
I might stop in if the drive thru is short on my way to work. Bottom line, it’s less of a hassle for me to make my own coffee. And if I am in the mood for a doughnut, there’s better elsewhere in Long Beach. Unless you’re a nostalgic east coast transplant, Dunkin isn’t offering anything new. For now, Long Beach certainly does not run on Dunkin. But the beauty of the LBC is there’s room for everybody. And they kept the giant doughnut. That’s something.

That sure is the case in East Coast. I went to college in Pennsylvania and I kid you not you can find a Dunkin Donut store within every 5 miles! I was super excited when I learned that they opened one up in Long Beach!
The location of their store is kind of bad. Knowing me and my getting lost skills [I get lost in parking lots], its bit complicated. If you are heading west bound on 7^th street, store comes on your right side, but you need to go further down to make a legal left turn and back the other way to enter the parking lot. But hey definitely worth the effort though!
I have pretty much tried everything that is Vegetarian on their menu, which includes every single donut on their menu. My go-​to item for breakfast is: Egg White Flat bread. My cousin thanks me for introducing it to her and she said that she has been to Dunkin Donuts before and would just get their coffee and donut but now she gets the flat bread from their breakfast menu. It hard to pick a favorite donut from this place. Their coffee is strong and pretty good.
Service here was pretty quick. The price is affordable as well. I only wish that they had better cups for hot drinks. Even with their coffee cup holder it is pretty hot and their lids are not that strong enough to sustain a speed bump or a sharp turn. Coffee is bound to spill out from it.
P. S. Try their Dunkaccino once, it might be too sugary/​sweet for some of you but its worth a try.

Dunkin Donuts, after a long absence, has made their way back to the home of In N’ Out & 2pac. Although, 2pac was originally from New York, that didn’t stop him from reppin the West Coast, though. Wouldn’t you? California Love, baby ;p
Back to Double D’s, I was anxious to see what this beloved East Coast institution had to offer. The flatscreen menus were minor annoyances, as they were a slideshow gallery, changing every few secs, just when I was almost ready to decide what to get.
My selection — frozen Chips Ahoy coffee Coolatta w/​whipped cream
Now this hits the spot! With the taste of Chips Ahoy in each sip, the Coolatta was a good size for only being medium. I was recommended the coffee, opposed to vanilla bean option, which was the best choice, naturally. A great frozen treat, I immensely enjoyed chillin (literally & figuratively) with my Chips Ahoy Coolatta.
The order/​pickup area is kinda drab looking. Some artwork, plants (real or silk) and/​or hanging mobiles would help spruce things up, IMHO.
Minimal amount of seating. A few booths overlooking the parking lot, with a few tables inside & al fresco. Most of the space is occupied by the restrooms in the middle of the building.
A busy drive-​thru for those not looking to get out of their cars. A miniscule to the point of being cute private lot is available for parking, of which I was fortunate to snag the last spot when I arrived.
Bienvenidos a California, Dunkin Donuts! My free birthday month frozen Chips Ahoy coffee Coolatta was just what the donut doctor ordered on a warm, humid SoCal day. I anxiously await trying your other drink items, such as the Oreo iced coffee or iced green tea. But, what about the donuts, you say? Well, yeah, maybe those, too. I’m not a big donut guy, but I may go for a munchkin.

My first time here!
Up to this day (6÷21÷15) I have been here twice with my guy. We ordered the munchkins and now we got a half dozen cronuts. Super yummy! But don’t know if I would like to eat this everyday. I’d get addicted! But man… those cronuts are driving me NUTS! Hahahahahahahahaha

This is go to place for donuts in Long Beach and that’s saying something because this area has plenty of competition. I’m not a fan of the Drive-​Thru because I want to see the donuts on display with their sugary goodness. The selection isn’t as big or varied most of the time so be prepared to order something new each visit. I really enjoy their Dark Roast Coffee and I always order the largest size they have. That means I usually order a ½ dozen donuts and each three that same day.
The staff is friendly and fast but my one issue is that they should separate the donuts that are not included in a standard ½ dozen or dozen order. They ask me pick and when I do, they say, «That one is extra.» How should I know it’s extra if it doesn’t state or mention which donuts are excluded.
Other than that, I love this place. I just wish it was closer than 6 miles from my apartment.

Yesterday was my first time ever at Dunkin’ Doughnuts. I remember all the hype they received when they came to California; the long lines, the people camping out, the pandemonium over what is said to be some of the «best (iced) coffee ever».
Unfortunately by the time I went to DD last night it was approaching 7pm, not the best time for me to be drinking coffee as I’m on vacation this week and I’m trying to sleep through the night like a normal person. I did however want to try the Coolata as Kris had mentioned that these were a hot item back East. He was disappointed that they didn’t have the Arnold Palmer one (which I guess is an East Coast only item); however they did have Strawberry and Coffee (we both got strawberry).
Peeking inside the line looked a bit hectic so we chose to do the drive-​thru. The bad thing about this is there is really no way to see what doughnuts they have on display, so we simply told them to «surprise us!» (we did however ask that they omit jelly-​filled as neither of us are a fan).
So what is this West Coasters verdict on this East Coast hotspot? While *NOT* the best doughnuts that I’ve ever had Dunkin’ was good! The doughnuts with the strawberry icing were my favorite, and Kris ate the French Cruller so fast I could barely get a bite in!
Staff even at the drive-​thru were friendly and talkative.
We shall be back!
