This place is hands down best breakfast spot in long beach! Service is always friendly and fast. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I always get an omelette here(the abc is the best) but last time I wanted something different so I got the eggs benedict. AMAZING! Highly recommend this place to everyone:)

So who ever took over this place is a horrible owner that likes to loose loyal customers. We had a gift certificate and when we went to use it she said that it wasn’t bought when she was the owner so it’s no good. I will never be coming back here again and will tell everyone I know that goes here to do the same.

In my personal opinion Eggs etc. is THEBEST breakfast spot in LB. Great food, service and energy. I love everything on the menu but I always gravitate toward their famous banana pancakes with a side of love(grabs chest) — so so bomb! Anyway, come here and get your grub on, bring a date or just come solo. Great time!

Took the kids for Saturday morning breakfast. They had the eggs Benedict and I had the scramble #3. The 10yr old didn’t like his. We ordered his eggs medium but they came out runny. The 12yr old snarfed hers down in record time. Mine was good but a little bland. Atmosphere was pleasant enough. They don’t take Amex which was annoying. My opinion is if you’re accepting credit cards, accept them all OR at least post as much on the front door. Parking was easy but it was 7am and drizzle dropping. Would we go back? Probably. But I was hoping for a home run here and barely made it to first.

I was there yesterday and the food was delicious and fast. My only criticism was that apparently there were under staff and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. But again, food was GREAT. Try the hobo Omelette and add chorizo…

While vacationing recently we tried out this little gem and we enjoyed it so much we ate there three mornings and we never disappointed. We enjoyed the omelettes and the potatoes were simply amazing. We enjoyed pancakes and the eggs Benedict too. Thanks to the great staff who were attentive and provided good service too! See you soon!

I went hungry and left happy. I know it’s cliché but… It is what it is. Lately I’ve been tired of having to use syrup to make my pancakes taste better because they aren’t fluffy. You won’t believe how happy I am that I have found a good pancake(other then ihop). The blueberry banana pancake with oatmeal made it really fluffy and easy for syrup to sink in. A great time was had by all. This is one of my lazy reviews but hey I was happy.

My boyfriend and I came here yesterday morning on a whim, since we’ve passed this place so many times before and never stopped in. We decided to sit outside since it was sunny, and were told we could sit anywhere. The busser(?) brought us some menus, took our drink order, brought us our drinks. super friendly and fast service! So my boyfriend and I looked over the menu for a while and decided what we’d like and chatted for a bit(at this point it’s been at least 10 minutes and we still haven’t seen the waitress at all, which is unusual but no big deal since we weren’t in a rush or anything). At some point the wind got to be a little too much for me and we decided to move inside. Upon walking inside our(soon-to-be) waitress looked at us with confusion and acted like we were annoying her immensely for moving inside. Sorry, girl! Would have asked you if it was okay but we weren’t sure when we were going to see you. This trend continued for the rest of the meal, with the waitress acting like everything my boyfriend and I did was a huge bother to her. I’m a waitress myself at a bar which is often plagued with rude and/or demanding customers, so I totally understand a waitress who doesn’t like her job, but for Pete’s sake FAKEIT. Especially when customers are actually trying to be nice. We still tipped 20% because my inner server couldn’t help it, but dang! My boyfriend and I laughed about that service all the way home, we don’t know why you hated us so much, short dark haired waitress! Anyway, on to the good stuff! The FOOD. Yum! My boyfriend got the Rancho omelette, it came smothered in Spanish sauce and it was soooo good. I normally don’t love omelettes but this one was delicious. My boyfriend got a tortilla as his toast choice and wrapped up half of the omelette in it to make a breakfast burrito, which turned out to be a great idea. He got the home fries, which were pretty good(can’t go wrong with a potato!). I got the California Benedict with brown rice for my choice. Yum! Avocado, bacon, poached eggs, and hollandaise on an open face English muffin. My boyfriend ate most of my brown rice before I could get to it, but I always ask for extra hollandaise to put on the brown rice when I get it other places, so good! It’s also nice that they have a good assortment of hot sauces available. The pricing wasn’t too bad, I’d say expect to pay around $ 15 per person including tax and tip. Overall, I’d probably still go back because it’s so close to my boyfriend’s place and the food was pretty good, but I don’t know if I’d go out of my way to eat there.

Ended up here for brunch when we found out the Potholder was closed. Our food took forever to come out. It was nothing spectacular. Once the waiter dropped off the tab, he never returned to pick it back up. we sat for a good 30 minutes before my Husband asked if we had to pay at the counter. They apologized, but really just forgot about us. I am sure we could have walked out without paying.

I’ve been eating here every Sunday for over two years and they have gone downhill. This place must have undergone a massive staff change and for the worst. I will no longer be eating here. Arrived at noon, seated at 12:40, ordered a hungryman and a grilled cheese sandwich, and left 20 minutes before closing, still without food. The servers walking away from me while I was still talking was the straw that broke the camel’s back. My wife has also been getting food poisoning from the eggs the last couple of times coming here, so she has been reluctant to eat here. Eggs Etc… what happened

Walked in and was greater by nobody, only one waitress and one busboy. When we finally sat down, it took 13 minutes to get service. When we finally did we got served by a very clearly tired, grumpy, and annoyed waitress. My food came out with the wrong modifications, even though she was writing my order down. Whilst ordering the last portion of my meal, she was completely looking the other way towards a different table, looked back at me and then asked me what I had said. Plates were never cleared for the entire duration of the meal, no refills offered, and never stopped by the table to check up after delivering the food. Very unprofessional, the server seemed liked she knew the regulars would tip, so she didn’t have to try for the tips from other walk in customers. Quality and hospitality have lowered here drastically.

The gf and I had been coming here every other weekend for months. Then two of our favorite servers left and the experience just went downhill from there. One of the young asian women who works there was so rude to us we decided to never go there again. Food is ok but I recently discovered a few breakfast spots near by that I enjoy far more.

Usually love coming here. Service is pretty decent, nothing to complain about usually. When I go w/just girlfriends, as opposed to my family, I usually get less speedier service. Typical, but just a tad annoying nonetheless. I love the server’s look of surprise when I’m the one paying the tab for my family, lol. I love the ambiance of the place. And love that they have a rainbow-colored flag that adorns their lovely front porch. Anyways, once during midterm week, I ordered food to-go(on a busy Sunday), and asked for an estimated wait time. They said it would be approximately 15 minutes, so I left at exactly 20 minutes after the phone call(I checked my phone record to make sure) because I was working on a huge paper & wanted to just pick up & go. I wouldn’t have minded waiting another 5 minutes or so, but it was really annoying to get there & find out that my order was never even inputted. As a customer, I really just wanted to leave & find something else… But I had already walked there(didn’t want to go through the hassle of trying to find parking) & there was nothing else within walking distance. It was literally eat there or starve because I was so short on time, I didn’t have time to cook, so I just decided to wait. As a server myself, I decided to tip 22% anyways, because I just can’t help it, and I hoped it would expedite my order. Needless to say, she offered me a free orange juice, which was nice. BUTTHECHOCOLATECHIPPANCAKESAREMELT-IN-YOURMOUTHAMAZING. I’m usually more than happy to wait. Because they’re that amazing. I really like that they include salsa w/the eggs too.

Food was good. I got a corn Beef hash with eggs. The corn Beef was pretty bad though, I did not like it just because it looks like dog canned food. I’m usto always eating actual shredded corn beef. The hottest and busboy where excellent and very friendly. Our waitress in the other hand… well she was rude and very unprofessional. I didn’t get her name, which I always do(Asian girl with tattoos). We asked her for refills(never got them) She brought our food out(with no utensils). Is this restaurant under new management now? Im assuming because the taste of food and service usto be WAYBETTER.

Eggs Etc. is one of my go-to places for breakfast. The food is always good. In fact, I am a creature of habit and get the same thing… Turkey Scramble with spinach, jack cheese and a side of Squaw bread. If you are looking fore a great local breakfast joint serving traditional American breakfast then I do recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

My dog and I went to Eggs Etc after a morning at Rosie’s Dog Beach. She was too tired to walk, so I pulled her from the car to the restaurant in her fold-up wagon. The staff at the restaurant was so sweet. They brought her a bowl of water while we waited and then they carried the wagon for me to our table. We sat outside with my dog and they put a water bowl next to the table. I ordered the pumpkin pancake which was delicious and the same size of the plate. My pancake came with scramble eggs that were pretty flavorless and bacon. I gave the rest of my eggs and the bacon to my dog — she loved it. Scrambled eggs(flavorless) and bacon Gave bacon and last of my eggs to my dog — loved it

I ordered an omelet and the food tasted really good. Nice and warm and a great portion too. The area was well kept and clean. The staff were extremely nice to everyone. I go and observe closely. I did enjoy breakfast there. The only bad thing I would say is the serve I had. She never came back after bringing my food to check up on me. That would be the only flaw I would have to say about it. Maybe I just sat in the wrong area because the other servers were all over the place. I think I would return again and sit in another area and hopefully I would get a better server. Lastly, I would recommend this place, because it’s great food and very low price.

This cute little breakfast joint is located just off the corner of Redondo and 6th St. This is one of the many breakfast place in the area we enjoy walking to. For those driving here parking is off street. This place is usually packed with at least a 15 minutes wait. There is indoor and outdoor seatings. We prefer outdoor on the patio so we can enjoy the sun while getting our Vitamin D with breakfast(^_~) The service here is really friendly. The food is great! I’ve had the Baja omlette, Chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy, Sausage scramble, chocolate chip, blueberry and banana pancakes, vegetarian chorizo, hobo omlette and Chili Omlette all in which were flavorful. My babies often get pancakes or share a sausages scrambles.(^_^) We have yet to have a plate that disappointed us. ALL in all this is a clean, cozy and yummy place to have breakfast. I would definitely recommend it(^_^)
