Good food and never busy during a weekday. Pretty consistent I have had the cod fish and chips as well as the turkey club and both were good. Didn’t blow my mind but was flavorful and made for a good lunch. Worth checking out although I am not sure what dinner or the weekends is like here but I wouldn’t wait to long.

The food is good, the service is alright… Waited about 40 min to be served for 2. Waited another 20 min to be asked for drinks… they served other tables that came after us! Waited another 35 min to be served. the waitress came around maybe twice and always forgot to bring refills back. Oh and they didn’t bring extra plates for wings.

The first time we dined at this location the server was fantastic, really helped us make dining decisions and the food was very good. We have tried to relive that experience several times, only to be dismally disappointed. We had to wait ridiculous lengths of time for our meals considering the # of servers and patrons and the food has been subpar. The only go to is the turkey patty.

Just went to a lakers game with my wife and we decided to go have a drink once we got back to long beach. Hours on Unilocal and several other places listed their hours were until midnight tonight. Was turned away at 11 pm saying they were closed. If you are going to list hours you are open you shouldn’t close early. We wouldn’t have wasted our time driving over. Three employees were just sitting at a table doing nothing. Wouldnt have taken but 15 mins for us to enjoy a beer. Last time we were there the beer was great and food was okay but probably won’t be back. There are many bars open around this time where we can get the same if not better beer /​food.

Tonight it was on point! They have a habit of being hit and miss but nothing failed to impress this evening. Lovely live female singer who did an amazing cover of fleetwood Mac.

Very friendly pub and grill. I had the fish and chips which were exceptional. The service was speedy and warm and the atmosphere is clearly, wonderfully «pub». My martini was almost obscenely huge (a good thing) and they have lots of screens to view your choice of sports. All in all a pleasant bit of time. I’ll be back and I’d recommend you give it a shot as well! Cheers m8!

My review is for breakfast service only over the weekend. The food was great and the portions were big. I was with my son who is 7 and a few of his friends who are picky eaters and they all cleaned their plates. The service was extremely slow. Our waitress never came to check on us, we always had to go find her and she took forever to bring what we needed. We arrived just as they opened so it was not crowded at all so I’m not sure why she wasn’t around. I would visit again since I liked the food so much and hope the service is better next time.

Casual, laid back neighborhood joint with a satisfying selection of cold ones. My favs to snack on are ghost pepper & short rib poutine, super nuclear chicken wings, Monday burger madness. Of course all happy hours including late night Saturday are easy on your wallet. Don’t forget NFL specials which are also pretty darn good! Cheers

I actually ate at one on Atlantic, can’t locate it. Fries and drinks are good. Rib piece on fries was very selfish and spicy sauce. Just what I needed and a lot of serving for more than one person

Our new go-​to place for Sunday mornings watching football or a quick happy hour! The food is good, great alcohol selection and friendly staff. As for the other reviews referencing attentiveness of the staff, I really think it’s because they’re understaffed a lot of the time. It has become the top spot for locals on a Sunday morning and they could use a few more hands to help out. The steak salad is amazing!

The struggle is real.
The food is fine (the guac has no flavor). The Gorgonzola fries are good and the nachos are pretty good too.
The happy hour is decent, especially with one of the few great servers.
The real problem? The service. We have had a few servers who have been amazing. But we have had far too many who have been exceedingly slow. Order a sample of a beer? 10 mins. Try it and server doesn’t check in for 15 mins. Finally wave server down, 12 minutes until beer arrives. Table who sat after beer was ordered has drinks before we get ours.
I know places get busy… but this really seemed like mismanagement. Our fries came out cold and soggy because they had been sitting so long before our server remembered to bring them to us.
We love having a local bar, but too often it misses the mark.

It was a perfect night so we decided to sit outside. It was our first time at this location so not sure what to expect. It started off with the people at the table next to us being upset that they didn’t have their check yet. However, the service ended up being good although the waitress kept trying to take my glass of ice! The Irish egg rolls are excellent especially with the combo of sauces they come with. I had the meatloaf which I thought was excellent along with the mashed potatoes and dark gravy. My wife had the tri-​tip dip which was also very good with the home made potato chips. Overall I would recommend this place. I’ve been to other locations and this rates as highly as the others.

I was sat down at 6:40pm. Sat there and waited for my server, she helped everyone out but me. I said well maybe she thinks I’m still looking at the menu so I closed it and put it down, looked at my phone it was 7:05. Never got greeted or anything. I gave it another 5 minutes because I really wanted a beer. Thank god I was in a good mood and didn’t go off like I should’ve. I’ll never return to this location. Servers need to know their sections and how to greet people…

They have Sam Adams on the menu so I asked if it was the Boston Lager Sam or a Seasonal Sam. The waitress said they no longer served Sam at all. Wouldn’t you think they’d have taken it off the menu? I almost asked for a magic marker and I would have done that for them! I made the mistake of ordering the fish and chips. It was dreadful. You would have thought the waitress would have asked if I liked my meal because half of the breading was still on the plate. She was not a good waitress.
Yes, they have plenty of TV’s in the place, but they were only tuned to 3 or 4 different channels. And the music they were playing was ANNOYING!
And who puts broccoli and cauliflower in a house salad!!!
We were there at 130pm on a Saturday and there were maybe only 15 other people in the restaurant. I wonder why…

For many years.
This was my third visit to their bellflower location.
I didn’t not want to give a bad review to this location yet to give them time to settle down and get the business in order.
I had a real sad experience today. This place got the worse service ever.

Good service good food and fine with having my «active» children inside the restaurant. Not much ambience though but hey they have giant tv’s everywhere!

I have been a fan of the Broadway location for years and their fish and chips make me want to go back when I am in the area (no longer a local). The halibut fish and chips to me is a major part of what they are known for. So when I tried the fish and chips at this location, I was extremely disappointed. The fish was a smaller portion (which I can accept in today’s food prices) but the batter was dreadful. It is a very hard crunchy batter that seemed like the deep fryer oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. I couldn’t even tell if the fish was halibut or plain cod because of the quality. Not saying it was horrible, but nothing I would order again.
Other things I had issues with: server checked on us on how the food tasted about ten seconds after we got it. We responded that we hadn’t even tried it yet. Then she seemed to have disappeared forever and never asked us about another drink or if we needed more help. Mind you there is about 10 customers in the whole place. No excuse for that. Plus as a brand new place, you think they would have a more diverse beer list. Places that serve bud and corona are a dime a dozen and just not what I want to drink. Another little thing that bothered me was that when I ordered a Guinness draft, it was served in a Montejo beer glass. Seriously just serve everything in a plain pint glass if you aren’t going to put beer in its own namesake glass. To me they just cheapened out and used a glass that was given to them for free from their supplier. Just poor business.
I really wanted to give them one star but I will say the place was clean and even though the service wasn’t good, the server was friendly. But as whole, I don’t expect this location to last.

Awesome place to come for Sunday brunch. Can’t beat bottomless mimosas for 9 bucks. Lindsey is very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. The IHOP next door can’t compete.

So far so good! Nice server, prompt service, good beer (try the Green Flash IPA), and a good burger. But, don’t get a side of ranch unless you like the squeeze room temp stuff. Pretty slow in here on a Saturday afternoon but it’s nice. We’ll definitely be coming back.
