I know there are a lot of bad reviews, and I was worried about coming here when I saw the two-​star average. But honestly, I had such a wonderful experience tonight. Uriel is the man to talk to. He was firm about what could and couldn’t be done, was polite and firm with frustrated and angry customers, but calming worked with the several I saw and managed to find alternate ways to meet everyone’s needs the best way possible. It is graduation season, and he managed the frantic «I need this now or I don’t graduate» conversations very professionally. He is the best, he solved my issue very quickly too.

Friendly and super helpful. Never had an experience like this at any other locations. Manuel is the best and the reason I wrote this review !

This place is crappy. Do not try to ship your items here. That blond lady staff there manning the place, does not even know SmartPost is a Fedex shipping service. Refuses to scan. Ask me to take my SmartPost parcel to a Post Office. Even tells me that electronics cannot be shipped. What??? Should I send my stuff by boat then? What a joke. Went over to the Fedex in Signal Hill and dropped it off without a hitch.

Very slow service no communication to customers. Standing here for 10 minutes with no help and all I want is a drop off receipt.

This FedEx store is horrible! I wish I could give a negative star. And I don’t go out of my way to write a bad review unless my experience is REALLY BAD. All I had to do was drop off an already labeled package and be on my way, so I disregarded the other bad reviews of this store. I should have taken their advice and gone to another FedEx instead.
I wish I got the name of the woman behind the counter who was rude the minute that I walked in. It was as if I was an inconvenience to her. Mind you I was the only customer in the entire store.
When she told me she was ready to help me, I said all I had to do was drop off a pre-​labeled package. It was a purchase I made over the Internet. The box was never opened and it had its original seal. The merchant sent me a pre-​paid shipping label, so I should have no issue returning. Nope. The woman at FedEx said the contents were too loose inside and that I had to repackage the box. I told her to look at the packaging. It was the original package, and FedEx shipped the package to me this way. I could loose my refund if I broke the original package seal. She decline to take the package. I left the store, upset at myself that I didn’t take the prior Unilocal reviews into consideration that warned this place was really bad.
Needless to say, I went the the Signal Hill FedEx and I was in and out in under 5 seconds. No joke. I even got a, «Thank you. And have a good day» at the Signal Hill store.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in today and was hoping to ship a package. After standing at the desk for a couple minutes the lady working there (middle age short blond hair) asked me what I needed the interrupting me mid sentence said she was super busy and would take her 4 hours to help me because she was by herself. What bothered me the most was her attitude and tone of voice. I understand that you are busy and by yourself. However do not take out your frustrations on your clients. She practically told me to leave her alone. I left and went to the one on 7^th street which was the complete opposite!

Under staff, this is my 2^nd time walk in around 9am — 10am the same lady with glasses always telling every customer it will be a few minutes I’m the only one here…

Overall experience was meh. Husband and I walked in to get some copies made of architectural plans. The first guy, don’t remember his name, was helpful and showed us how to use the machine, so that was nice. Waiting in line for 10 minutes when you’re in a rush, was not nice, but all of the employees were working as fast as they could go. Will probably come back because it’s better than the one on 7^th and PCH.

Slowest copy center EVER!!! Sure staff is friendly but I don’t have all semester to make copies and pay for extra services!!!

Really lady? 5 dollars to «fill» the void in my box? You should disclose that before you attempt to rip me off.

Despite the reviews I still came in here to ship something. It was the closet place to where I live and thought I would still give it a shot. Walk in there was one person in line and an employee helping him. He forgot to fill out his papers so she had told him to fill it out at the counter. I waited behind him with my box, items, and papers filled out. She goes to the back and starts making food for herself (after she had already made eye contact with me). The other employee was on the computer and once again this employee did make eye contact with me but decided to stay at the computer. After 5−7minutes standing in line realizing no one was going to come help me seeing that the guy in front of me was taking forever to write his stuff I left. Horrible service at this location.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this place really irritated and inconvenienced me. So, knowing that this place is open 24/​7, I made an order online previously to pick up a few documents that I needed to be printed. I arrived around 12:45am and the parking lot was pretty full meaning that this place brings in a lot of customers all around the clock. I’m sure that since it’s right next to CSULB that many students who need projects done, assignments printed, etc come to this location around the clock. As soon as I walked in I saw about 4 – 5 people waiting at the check out line. Additionally, the only person working there was middle-​aged Caucasian male with a long pony tale (didn’t get his name but I wish I did). He immediately saw me walk in and told me, «Sir, we are closing in 5 minutes» while looking a little frustrated and then immediately followed with «what do you need?». I told him I just needed to print something out and he referred me to the self-​service printing computerized option on the other side of the store. So I went over there and saw about 3 people on that side trying to use the same self service option. Mind you, I had a confirmation number of my printed documents that I had already paid for online. So here I am trying to figure out how to find my documents to print on here and there’s no option what so ever. It seems as though it would have just been faster to just bring in a USB and not go through the whole FedEx Office App with uploading my document and paying for it. At this point, I’m confused. So I walk over towards the register and I see the same employee talking with a customer (which leads to a small argument with attitude between both the customer and the employee). The customer was obviously not happy with his responses and then I felt awkward because I had to stand there and watch it knowing that I’m the next person he’s gonna speak with. He looks at me and I tell him that I don’t understand how to retrieve my confirmed purchased documents on the self service and he response with «oh, you should’ve punched the code in». And I was like, um, what code? So I should him my email confirmation and he says «oh, yeah you have to receive that from us because we print it for you». I told him ok, so is it ready then? He said, «no, it’ll be ready in an hour when I come back from break. I have to close the store down right now». Seriously? How can this FedEx location claim they are ²⁴⁄₇? Unfortunately it’s not his fault that he had to do this but this is a reflection on FedEx. Don’t advertise ²⁴⁄₇ of you simply aren’t gonna be open for certain periods of times. Since I had to have this document printed, I had to return at 6:45am because I was not gonna drive back there at 2:00am to pick up my document. Absolutely ridiculous. Either hire more staff overnight so that the store doesn’t have to close down OR don’t advertise ²⁴⁄₇! Only reason I gave this review an extra star is because when I received the document in the morning, it took me less than 3 minutes for the process. The lady didn’t go out of her way to be friendly or anything but she did the job that I needed to be done and let me use their stapler as well.
Hopefully the next time I need something that I paid online for, I won’t run into this issue. FedEx, I hope you’re listening!

Great experience. After a nightmare at a different location, the employee at this FedEx actually did his job quickly and professionally.

It is actually unbelievable how awful this location is. They are rude and incompetent. Everyone I have ever dealt with at this location acts like I’m bothering them to just do the bare minimum.
It’s beyond infuriating to deal with people like this. If you hate life so much you can get another job. Really, you can.

I am STILL having to deal with the incompetent employees at this location… If an older lady named LORI tries to help you run… I have NEVER in all my years of being in and dealing with customer service people been so disrespected! She is rude and clearly does not know how to do her job! She was a total witch (minus the w add a b) to myself as well as my assistant who went in there on Sunday! We will now be going to corporate and will be mentioning this nasty employee to them and that maybe they should screen their employees a bit better before hiring! Oh and I still have been refused a refund… again! And the «manager» wouldn’t even show his face when I came in to apologize to us or anything! Disgusting!

Rick helped us print some posters and he did such a good job! We had to email them in and he resized them for free. Our themed TV show party turned out great! Thank you!

The people here are plain rude and horrible! Lori, this old lady is so fucking rude! She should be fired! I went to get some PowerPoint slides printed out, 4 slides per page but for some reason it kept coming out really tiny that I could barely read what’s on the slide. When I told Lori that it was too small, she goes «well, that’s what it’s supposed to do, what did you expect?» So rude! I told that I knew what it’s supposed to be but this is not it and she was like «what?!, what do you want? I can’t do anything, sorry»
I hope the manager or owner of this place reads these reviews and fires all workers here. Especially, Lori, the old rude lady! Will never come back here. Unless Lori and most of the other workers are fired

I was completely astounded at my last visit. I’d been coming here occasionally to print for years, and never had a problem.
I stopped in to scan about 45 pages and email them to myself. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to tell the copier/​scanner that my original was only one-​sided. Finally, I asked an employee for help. She told me that THE SCANNER COULD NOT SCAN ONE SIDED ORIGINALS. SERIOUSLY? I don’t know if she was right or if she just didn’t know what she was talking about.
She offered me an alternative. She could scan it behind the counter for me, but only if I had a flash drive. I haven’t owned a flash drive in five years. She seemed indifferent that I was frustrated and upset.
I’ll be looking for an alternative scanning/​copying/​printing establishment.

Terrible customer service. Employees here don’t care at all. They act like they’re in prision, being forced to work here or something. They should all be fired.
No helpfulness, no friendliness.
Avoid at all costs.
Fedex in general, is not a good printing service, but this store specifically takes terrible customer service to another level.
There are other options in the area, I suggest take your buisness elsewhere!
Edit, so they got automated prining service now so customer service is less of an issue, but I still recommend you support your local buisness printers instead of a corp like fedex. You can form a relationship with Local business and they will do things for you that large corporations cant.

This is based on my experiences that I’ve had here… which have never required assistance from an employee.
I’ve used the copiers and fax machines.
They’re reasonably priced, but then again, I’ve never been anywhere else to check prices.
Anyway, what I like is that I’m always in and out of the store quickly! I don’t want to spend a lot of time doing silly errands, and I’ve never had issues here. Yay!
So, five stars!
