I live about a mile away from this shop and its my first time trying it. The shop is small but very cozy. I was in a small embarrassing situation at the cashier. I recently lost my debit card and cancelled my account. Turns out this locks my credit card that is linked to it as well. So i had no money lol my total was only 3.50 $ and the cashier said dont worry about it this time we got it. Then i found 3 $ cash in my backpack & gave it to her after. Anyway, my point was this spot is great! And the awesome service was too!

It’s kind of in an area that I don’t frequent, but I wanted to try it based on the reviews and to get away from my super hot apartment. They do have an AC unit in the back, but it isn’t super efficient. Probably on most days, this wouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately on that hot summer day, it was still warm inside. The interior is definitely adorable though. The lavender milk– it was good. The small was too small for me, so I drank it up quite fast and wished I had gotten a large. Next time! I was unclear whether the lavender milk was the same thing as the lavender latte in pictures. It seems like it’s not the same thing, but I didn’t see anything else lavender on the menu, so I got it. The lavender milk tasted like flavored coconut milk. I kind of felt like I was drinking a kid’s drink. It wasn’t bad, but I would probably try something else next time. There is plenty of seating, which is surprising from the outside. I finished reading my book here in peace. I would come back to try some of the other drinks, maybe on a cooler day and if I was closer to the area.

This is an awesome mom and pop coffee shop. Has a cozy and genuine vibe. Lots of sitting areas from sofas to counters to small tables and a couple of large community type tables for sharing. Excellent for working while you drink your java. Most people seem to get a new drink once in a while which is nice so we can keep this coffee shop afloat. Don’t be a dud by sitting here two hours taking up space and electricity and only buying one drink. Good customer service, they bring your drink if you’re eating in. Haven’t tried their food, but looks like a nice variety for a coffee place.

Stopped by for coffee and sweets! The coffee is very good(I got iced black and my friend got an iced latte with coconut milk). All of the sweets are vegan so that’s amazing! It’s a really cute place with decent street parking and I would definitely recommend it. We got the chocolate cake and the green tea cupcake!

I’ve only been here 2 days(in a row) and I can’t get enough of their drinks and pastries! I did a take out on my first visit, then stayed on my second visit. Both were good experiences, I most definitely don’t have any complaints and will for sure be a regular! As for customer service, it’s outstanding as it has been the same lady who has helped me on both occasions. I have yet to ask her for her name but it seems she opens a lot. I overheard she’s only been working there for about 4 months and she is such an amazing worker. She explains in details what each drink or pastry is made of and even recommends items she personally enjoys. She’s awesome! Location: It’s not the prettiest or safest neighborhood or most convenient when it comes to parking, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem(at least for me) since I would most likely stop by before 8am. Street or residential parking is easy to find around that time. Food & Drink time! Where to start. I’ve only tried a few but I’ll post more pictures and feedbacks as I visit. Honey Bear latte and the Lavender latte are both very good! I really enjoy that they’re both made with coconut milk. The lady always makes them at perfect temp too so that’s a plus. They might sound super sweet but they really aren’t. So balanced. As for the veggie empanada & Vegan Pot Pie, they both speak for themselves but if you haven’t had them, try them soon. They have got to be the best I’ve had in a while. I first found out about this place through a friend, Jan!(If you read this, thanks for the rec!) He’s so right about how awesome it is to chill, do work or just to try. They do have free wifi so feel free to check it out for doing work. See you soon, Fox!

Today I popped in and tried a blended Filbert(yum), and grabbed a bunch of goodies to go. The vegan pot pie is yummy! Filling and tasty! The whoopie pie is super delicious, so much better than the boxed version, just as sweet but with better flavor and a super chewy texture. I would recommend sharing the lemon lavender scones with someone you love. They are simply that good. Wonderful texture, and simple, fragrant flavor. Moist! So good. My favorite thing about Fox are that the flavors presented are genuine and delicious. Nothing I’ve tried here has been overly salty or too sweet. The ingredients in each creation will dance on your pallet, encouraging you to savor every mouthful, and note what’s unique and especially tempting about that treat. So fun!

First time here today and had the best time. Really enjoyed this place. Service: the friendliest barista/cashier! She is so sweet and patient with me in choosing my options. 5⁄5 Food: The Numi white rose milk tea was pretty good. I wouldn’t say it is the best but it’s up pretty high. The garden bagel, however, is the yummiest bagel ever. Artichoke and spinach dip melt right into your mouth. Delicious and healthy. The only complain I have for the food is the raspberry roll. It was too dried and too sweet for my taste. 4.5÷5 Ambiance: a nice coffee shop with a rustic modern vibe. It was pretty quiet when I got there, which is a great thing when you’re trying to study. Street parking or park in the neighborhood. 4.5÷5

I’ve been to Fox Coffee House three times now since they’ve been open and I gotta say, I’m totally a fan! In addition to my three visits, my coworkers surprised me with vegan cupcakes from here on my birthday! This quaint coffee shop has friendly staff and vegan goodies which I believe are all made in house. If not, a good amount are. So far I’ve had the following: — Vegan Pot Pie — Chocolate Muffin — Guava Horn — Chocolate Cupcake — Espresso Buttercream Cupcake …but the items that are most memorable to me are: — Chai Cupcakes — Lavender(coconut) Milk The Chai Cupcakes and Lavender Milk are two items I would definitely eat/drink again. Great flavor! The last time I was here, they had just baked a fresh batch of Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies and the whole place smelled so good! Tasted good too :) Street parking seems to be pretty easy. Every time I’ve been here I’ve been able to score a spot right in front of the door or just a few doors down. Don’t be like me. Remember to bring your stamp card. I’ve got like 4 different stamp cards that I’ll eventually need to combine ;P

IMWRITINGTHISREVIEWLIVEFROMTHISCOFFEEPLACE! From the second we walked in, it was great. The people the food and the drinks! We got two honey bears, a guava roll and a chai cupcake. They were all delicious and we will be coming back here for sure! Ditch your stupid local Starbucks and come here for the environment and the quality pastries and drinks. Thanks to the girls who served us they were very sweet.

I first reviewed this coffee house when it opened last year. I loved it then. But NOW it’s officially the coolest hang around. Why? Amazing food. But most important, the coffee is so great — and I’m obsessed with coffee. When I have their coffee I always forget how much better it is than others.(Sorry Starbucks, you can’t even compare!) On top of that, the owner, Mary, is so dedicated to her customers. She is kind, warm and thoughtful. That’s why Fox has a loyal following of regulars who are there daily and weekly.(Luckily it’s a large, comfortable space, otherwise I’d be too selfish to let you in on my favorite secret joint.) Tips: free wifi, cool customers, lovely setting, ample street parking. The pot pies will cure what ails you! Oh, and consider the«Honey Bear» drink. Very delish! Don’t miss out! If you love coffee, good(healthy) food and charming company, check out Fox. Tell Mary that Mari-Anne sent you…

Unilocal Challenge 201677⁄365 If your good to my dog, you are already a winner in my book. After ordering I kind of whispered, do you allow dogs inside. This place not only welcomed my dog inside and gave her water but said, «we love dogs» After retrieving her from my car, Fiona and I occupied a table in the back corner out of the way where she was on her best behavior. Another dog showed up after us, who also had the royal treatment. Customer service at its finest for sure. Employees were quick, effective and wonderful. Huge shout out to Nick H and his recommendation for a rainy day spot. Coffee and pot pies cure any rainy day blues. Lots of comfortable seating to enjoy your cup of brew. Its like drinking at your friends house. A few couches, random tables to make anyone feel at home. Perfect for studying with free WIFI. Books, games, newspapers add to the perfection. Parking not so good. Located on a corner between Daisy and Eucalyptus st near a pizza place. Street parking only. Luckily I found a prime spot right in front. The Lavender milk with added expresso was pretty good. Milk, Lavender syrup and expresso. If you prefer your coffee sweet, you may need to add sugar. They offer a ton of coffee and tea choices. Hot, cold, blended. Pretty much anything. The pot pie, all vegetarian was super good for this carnivore girl. Packed inside a tastey crust filled with potatoes, carrots, celery and a gravy. For being all veggie, I loved it. Didn’t even miss the meat. They also serve a few pastries, bagels, sandwiches, ect. This place is a real winner. If I lived closer, I would be here weekly. #877

Tried the honey bear, which comes in a cute mason jar. Not bad! Will recommend something later once I try more of their options. Plenty of tables, although it can get filled mid day. It does clear out by around 3. Outlets and wifi available. Street parking but there’s plenty that are walking distance. Decent lighting, and overall, a great place to study. I can see why this place is rated 5 stars! The fresh flowers placed on each table really brighten up my day

Andrew and I were truly overwhelmed by their menu. If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, you will be so pleased with what they offer. I ended up getting their honey bear blended. It’s a blended vanilla latte with coconut milk, coconut whipped cream and a floating shot and mocha powder on top. It was delicious, to say the least. To eat, we got their chickpea slider, veggie pot pie, chocolate cupcake, and dark chocolate sea salt cookie. Yes, ALLVEGAN. The best part is it was actually affordable, while other vegan establishments will try to charge you 7 dollars for half a cupcake. And knowing everything is homemade makes my heart feel all fuzzy. I’ve never seen Andrew so in love with a piece of food before. He kept saying, «THISISLITERALLYEVERYTHING I’VEWANTEDFORYEARSAND I NEVERWANTITTOEND.»(he’s always wanted a vegan pot pie but was always afraid it wasn’t actually vegan) The chickpea slider was an absolute dream come true for me, the queen of all things chickpea. Chickpea salad, tomato, cucumber, and chipotle sauce all on a bun.(I must say, the chipotle sauce took the slider to levels I didn’t know were humanly possible) The moment I left, all I could think about was coming back to try more. So many coffee shops talk about ‘community,’ but you never feel that when you walk in. Fox Coffee House is the definition of community. As I looked around the establishment, I felt so joyful. So many different individuals from different walks of life, enjoying a cup of coffee, just talking to the person across from them. You don’t really see that anymore.

FILBERTFILBERTFILBERT The blended filbert latte is very very very good. I just recently visited this spot for the firs time. I only purchased the drink because all of the rave about it on Unilocal.I was NOT disappointed. The latte was very very very good and creamy. With a delicious almond milk taste. I couldn’t quite remember if I read the menu correctly: After I double checked the menu to see exactly what was in the blended latte(because I couldn’t believe how good it tasted), I saw that it was mixed with hazlenut and Nutella. When I read the print out menu and the store I thought it said hazelnut and chocolate. Don’t get me wrong, it was delicious! Just wished I didn’t read it incorrectly and caught that it was made with Nutella. Nutella is very very unhealthy. :( Plan to try The Honey Bear!

Located on a busy street, Fox Coffee House stole my heart at first glance. The café is spacious and has plenty of tables and outlets for those who wants to study. It’s so chill and low-key here — unlike many other hipster coffee shops. I went on a weekday at around 4pm and was glad to have an abundance of tables to choose from. The staff was friendly and suggested some popular drinks to me. I tried the Honey Bear blended latte(get it with coconut whip cream) and it was very satisfying. It wasn’t too sweet — had a nice blend of caffeine, honey, and mocha powder on top. Their Dragon Bagel Sandwich is good but so spicy. I’m not a fan of spinach or pickles, but they blend so well with the other veggies(cucumber, onion, tomato, sriracha sauce, jalapeño, and hummus). I will definitely order it again, even if it means tears are coming out of my eyes with every bite of the jalapeño… Free street parking.

I like that Fox Coffee House is all vegetarian and has a bunch of vegan options and that it’s inexpensive. That said none of the food items we had were any good. The chickpea slider($ 4) comes cold and tasted bland. The vegan pot pie($ 4) was slightly better, but kind of soggy; I much prefer the curry tofu pot pie at Bronzed Aussie in downtown LA. The garden bagel sandwich($ 6) was the best of the lot, though not particularly inventive — it was vegetables piled into an everything-bagel and slathered with hummus bought from the grocery store. We also had a guava roll($ 3.50) and an apple turnover($ 3.50). Both of these fell flat. The turnover was weirdly chewy and didn’t heat up all that well, probably because it was already pretty old by the middle of the day. The guava roll was dry. If Fox Coffee House made its own food, from scratch, it might warrant another visit. But for now, this place feels like it just cobbles together ingredients.

We stopped in here for some blended coffees and they were fantastic! The vibe here was a surprise, basically a house, the café is the entire first floor set up like a living room area, very cozy, unlike any other café I have been to. Service was exceptional, they have a great menu of hot, cold and blended drinks as well as sweet and savory snacks. My mocha and his caramel were perfect, great quality coffee, fair price and made well. Worth checking out while in the area, much better than any chain coffee place!

However, the owner is no grandma. They have tables and chairs in one room and a couch and arm chairs in the other. Coffee stands and little trunks work great and are convenient for placing your drink while you work or study. Customer Service-5 Stars! This is just one cool spot! Good eats here. Amazing drinks here. Great Vibes!
