I stopped in to From the Moon and was delighted to see Azy who used to be at 1002 in San Pedro. Azy and boyfriend Joel just opened this cool antique and vintage shop a few months ago and have already hosted some game nights and parties. As with any secondhand shop, the collection is eclectic and ever-​changing. The prices are lower than most of the area shops. I can’t wait to visit again and again and again! Happy New Year, you cool cats!

Nifty cool funky fresh thrift shop where I used to live. Located right next to the legendary Joe Jost’s it is a welcome addition to Long Beach’s thrift scene. What you will find here is gold. It is niche and specific. It is all very random yet fit fits together all at the same time. The people who own this and the people who work here are super cool and super friendly and not just in a «I want your business» kind of way. Genuine. From the Moon is one of those rare mom and pop store are really in it for the love. They love finding treasure at other thrift stores and showing off the embarrassment of riches they have collected.
Recommended, no scratch that … Mandated.
This is mandatory shopping for the thrift store junkie in all of us!
