do not go to gold coast mufflers — i have never in my life dealt with people like this — they tell you one thing and do another — they gave us a quote and later changed the amount. when we tried to pick up the car they would not released it unless we paid for the work which we never authorized. they do not stand by their guarantee. we have taken our car back 3 times just to have them tell us that there is one more thing wong with it and they want more money — the manager tracy is never around and thomas the older man answering the phone is nice but completely clueless — the assistant manager ron is very rude and also clueless. stay away from this place

suprised at all the negative reviews. First went to these guys back in 87 when thet were still on Atlantic. Thier prices were fair and they did a good job. Have been back a few times since and always was satified with thier work, and have recommended them to other people and they have been happy with thier work also.

Took me for a ride and it wasn’t the fun kind. Told me my intake manifold was cracked and they could either weld it or get me the new part for an extra $ 200, which I didn’t have. I just called my old mechanic and he said they aren’t supposed to weld intake manifolds. Don’t go here

Okay so when I went to this place I was expecting a quote only .I came in knowing I had an exhaust leak from a testpipe but wasn’t sure where I wanted them to inspect it for me which is free but I end up paying for it cause while I was in the lounge they had taken apart my exhaust and found out it was the gasket which they didn’t even carry a simple size gasket. but here’s the worst part they had gave my old gasket to some co worker who took it home and I wanted them to bolt everything back up normally then the guy who was working on my car who was a mexican who didn’t even know english decides he doesn’t even wanna work anymore and ripped his shirt off then walks away while the other workers don’t even know how to bolt up a single and simple exhaust system so I guided them on how to do it… as stated befoe avoid at all cost if anything go to ace in long beach also

My car used to make this annoying rattling sound that no car shop could figure out how to fix, no matter how I begged. One time a shop guaranteed they had fixed it, but we drove it around the block and the noise was still there. Finally they just got exhasperated with me and referred me to this muffler shop. When I got to Gold Coast they were just closing up, but they were nice enough to at least roll my car up and look at it. When we got under the car it was clear as day that all that torment had been caused by a simple little piece of metal that had come loose. They gave me a quote, I came back the next day, and they fixed it in no time at all for a very nominal fee. Highly recommended.
