Called just to ask a few questions on upgrading my laptop from a suggestion. Hector spent time with me, directed me to sites for system checks and answered all my questions. I will definitely be visiting Hector for my computer repairs /​upgrade.

Am very glad I had my laptop seen by Hector. I had upgraded the wireless router in my home, but my modest laptop couldn’t handle the 5 Ghz band for faster speeds. I bought a USB network adapter which worked but was unsightly and drove me nuts. So I got a new network card and decided if I’m doing this, might as well upgrade to a solid state drive, too. Hector was able to clone my hard drive no problem despite Windows 8.1 and 5 unknown partitions on the original. Had to order an additional part online for the network card to work and despite the part being too long, Hector made it fit. The SSD and network card have my laptop on speed, seems brand new and ready to challenge the macbook pro… ok not really, but I’m very happy with the upgrades, and the charge was very reasonable. Several keys on my Dell laptop keyboard were getting sticky. I brought it into Hector — he was able to determine that I needed a new keyboard. I had already checked the high cost of a replacement online — Hector was able to go with a different, legit manufacturer with a significantly lower price. There was a slight glitch in the shipping, but he compensated for it and was very responsive along the way. Not only did he fix my keyboard successfully, but he also cleaned my laptop as well. Great customer service.

Lenovo laptop was overheating. Hector informed us that because of a design flaw, the hard drive was encased in metal and plastic causing it to run at 140 degrees!
Thankfully because of the very diligent service we received at Helicon, our laptop was spared by merely replacing the hard drive and keyboard. Which, btw was close to burning up as the keys would hardly type.
We would like to thank Hector Licon for his expertise, and professional manner. Definitely take your PC/​Mac to Hector. He is a genius.

This is a long overdue revue but the timing now is perfect as once again Hector saved the day for me due to inept abilities in regards to computers.
Now mind you I can perform David Copperfiel-​David Blane amazing feats on the PC but when it comes to disconnecting this, removing this virus, hooking up this and that… I’m more like Aunt Clara from The Bewitched TV Series!
Hector has been over quite a few times (yes he makes house calls) to assist, access and solve many of my PC problems; the last was the removal of a virus that had hidden itself inside Goggle Chrome and, he had my PC tower for 3 days until he was certain the beast was gone. Also, he finally murdered the the gel dripping creature from Alien and said «your PC tower was shaking the virus was so pissed off» and he was successful where others had failed.
My latest problem was that 3 days ago my modem was not recognizing my router and that meant that I could not use my lap top in my place but worse, it meant if the modem was not recognizing the router chances are the modem was on the fritz, the router was shot or I was going to experience a Michael P OCD nightmare that would drive me off the cliff like Thelma and Louise but for the wrong reasons.
Prior to this, Verizon Technical Support and I ascertained that was the problem and they sent me not one but 2 items for free: (I believe they found during diagnostics testing that it possibly was their modem that was pooping out so props to you Verizon).
One router & modem all in one and, a router to utilize with their current modem; of course the smart choice was to utilize the all in one option and, if Hector was not able to be here online with Tech Support to input the data I would have been one rock closer in that Blue Thunderbird to the edge of the cliff!
He did a fantastic job and I support this man and his store front non utilitarian business because his fees are very reasonable, he is always willing to take the time to assist me and, that phone of his does not stop ringing as his customers from everywhere are calling for his help (a good sign in my book).
Give this man your PC, Notebook and any other computer website repair or upgrade issues-​HE COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM ME and, I’ve had 7 years of his services to vouge for that recommendation too.
