These are pretty rocking donuts. I’ve been to a LOT of donut shops and I find myself LOVING these donuts. They are perfectly fluffy and dense at the same time(ironic much?) I went with my roommate who described the donuts as ‘heavy’ which is pretty accurate description. After eating a Maple Bar(super delcious btw) I was oddly stuffed, and it was awesome. This is an understated shop and I will continue return. Delicious Donuts Jerry!

I’ve been coming here for the past couple of years. I got to know the owners as they are very friendly and have awesome customer service. I practically come here at least 4 times a week. I usually get the ham and cheese croissant, which is very fresh, baked that morning. If I don’t get that, I like her cronuts as they are the best thing in the world. But my favorite of them all is their apple fritters. Wow, she usually gets me one that’s fresh from the oven, so I get them when their still hot. I highly recommend this donut shop as no other can compare. Yes parking may suck at busy times but it’s worth it!

There are no truly great doughnut shops in Long Beach, especially since the closing of the Navy base and yard and the disappearance, for all practical purposes, of the Douglas aircraft plant. When the local rag of a newspaper puts a mediocre East Coast chain’s arrival in LB on the front page, you know the bar is a set pretty low. Especially since said chain is on site of the once fabulous Mrs. Chapman’s. I have lived in the area off and on for 30 years and Jerry’s was the local, especially after the long decline of Mrs. Chapman’s. The donut quality at Jerry’s waxed and waned with cooks, ingredients and ownership changes. I personally think it is better today than 5 years ago. If I don’t have the morning coffee buzz to make it over to Palos Verde for an upgrade, Jerry’s works just fine. Earlier the better.

Best donuts in town!!! Better than all the other donut shops I’ve been too. So far my favorite place! Their croissant egg and cheese is off the hook! Great prices and great customer service! I definitely recommend this place. If you are looking for unique and great taste, this would be the place!

Best. Ever. I don’t know how they aren’t winning Michelin stars for these culinary masterpieces that are somehow under $ 1.

Where o’ where has Jerry gone? Not in Long Beach anymore! The once glorious watering hole of chocolate donut holes has been compromised. Not that the new owners would even come close to the greatness of a Jerry’s original chocolate donut hole, but they don’t even try. Their comment to this debacle: «too expensive to make.» RIP Jerry. RIP.

Bad bad bad… Their donuts don’t feel fresh at all even though I went early in the morning. For their prices I’d rather go to Krispy Kreme.

Their glazed donuts are the best glazed donuts I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t imagine how good it’ll be when is fresh and hot. Only Krispy Kreme’s comes close.

I was in the area and decided to stop in and sample the doughnuts again. Same as before, nice fluffy doughnuts which weren’t greasey. My hats off for Jerry’s doughnuts for making a good doughnut as far as doughnuts are concerned. I’ll stop by again in the near future and make a spot check. I’ll say again, stop in and try their doughnuts, you’ll be happy. A major chain is opening up about a mile away so I hope they’ll be around for a while.

The only donut that I’d eat is a French Cruller. After my favorite donut shop which was close to work closed down earlier this year, I’ve been on a search for a great cruller. I looked to Unilocal for suggestions and found Jerry’s, which is fairly close to where I live. I most admit, I am a bit of a French Cruller snob. Jerry’s makes a decent cruller and satisfying. It’s not the lightest cruller I had. And the center seemed heavy on the inside. The frosting seemed a bit heavy as well. I like a great balance between the frosting the the lightness of the cruller. Price for a dozen crullers(not a bakers dozen, a true dozen), is $ 12 and change.

Their donuts are super moist and delicious late at night! I’ve been about 3 – 4 times and I really love the donuts here. The employee is always friendly and I always leave happy :)

Great donuts, and the price is right. The times I have went they always threw in an extra donut or two. Only bad thing I can say is it’s hot as h@@@ in there. The AC is never on and when you are cooking doughnuts it makes the place even hotter on a hot day. Other than that I love this place I most certainly will be back for more scrumdilly donuts.

This place is pretty awesome. Idk if the man I’ve encountered here a few times is Jerry but if he is the Jerry of Jerry’s Donuts he’s AWESOME! I’ve gone here kinda late more than a few times. Once or twice there’s been a man who’s hooked it up with like 3 extra donuts because it was the end of the day I assume. He’s super nice too! There’s usually a woman working though. She’s nice. Gives you your donuts you pay. that’s it. She’s not rude or anything just normal. THEDONUTSARE good and fresh tasting most of the time. I don’t ever really find them too greasy. THey’re light and fluffy just like you’d expect and want of a donut. All the regular flavors you’d expect. The ham and cheese croissant is super buttery. My bf loves it.

3.5 stars. Since I am a big blueberry donut fan, I was disappointed with the lack of blueberriness in the donuts here. I have to give this donut shop love though for the large variety of donuts and their 24 hour business. One of the downsides though is the parking lot. It is a small lot that is shared with 7 – 11 and Hole Mole, so it gets a little crazy at times. If you are there early for donuts though, it is not bad. The cream cone, which intrigued me because I had no idea what it was, was very delicious. Kind of like a cream-filled flaky pastry cone. Really made up for the disappointment of the blueberry donut. I would definitely go back for those. They also had raspberry-filled cones. Bf said his glazed donut and chocolate bar were good also.

This place is not secret, as it has plenty of reviews. I got the first cup of coffee off of a freshly brewed pot = five stars. My plan was to get something light to hold me off till dinner. No such luck, as the crème filled donut was big and almost made a meal for me. $ 2 for a cup of coffee and a large donut and left a little for a small tip — such a deal.
